Sister of Mumbo Musini, Elijah Odongo, Didakus Ojwang, Regina Aloo, Regina Atieno, Awino Asaa. Sister in law of Bernadus Onyango, Adero Onyango, Leo Ochieng. Mother of Mornica Awuor Asawo, Patricia Asawo, Philgona Asawo, Onyango Oweya, Thomas Okoth, Jactone Odhiambo (Businessman), Benard Atieno, Teresia Asawo, Consolata Aoko, Angelina Onyango, John Odhiambo, Cleophas Odeng, Musa Ouma, Odunga, Charles Okunya. Mother in law of the late George Nyapere (Randago), Robert Otango (Alego Agulu), Martin Oduor (Aduwa), Susana, Fransica, Caroline, Florence, Colleta among others.

Aunty of Olwanda, Eng. Charles, Okuku, Clementina Siaya. Grandmother of Benard Otieno (Kenya Aerotech), Lilian Akello (Counsellor), Nyapere (Parliament), Joan, (Open Blessing Ministry), Geoffrey Otango (Unga Limited), Mercy Otango, Eng. Willick Otango (ICRC Sudan), Grace Otango (Kipkoech Tanui & Co Advocates) Millicent, Kevin (Italy), David Oduor, Dolphine, Desmond, Vincent, Boniface (Moi University) Mildred Achieng (Jaramogi University) Ephie (Maseno University), Derrick, Stanley, Lennox,Yusuf, Velma, Purity Kanze Dena, Alpha, Rodgers, Wiltord, Powell among others. The cortege leaves Bama Funeral Home on 19th June, 2020 at 10am and burial on 20th June, 2020 at her home in South West Alego Location Hawinga Kaugagi Sublocation, Uhiwa Village, Siaya County.

Daughter-in-law of the late Moses Murigi and Susan Njeri. Sister-in-law of the late Boruface Muiruri and Felitina Njeri. Mother-in-law of Esther Wambui and grandmother of Michelle, Melanie, Maybell and many others and aunt of many.

The cortege will leave Montezuma, Kabati on Thika Rd on 18/6/20 at 8am for burial at her farm in Katipanga, Makuyu Muranga County.

Mother in law of Gicimu, Gachie, Gicheha, Njeri, Murugi, Wanjiru, Gaciru and late Simon Mbiu. Step-mother of Ndegwa (Wa Sarah), Kangethe, Prof. Wanjiku Kabira, Muthoni (Mombasa), Njoroge, Wangari, Late Wariara, Nyambura, Muthoni, Late Simon Ndegwa (Kinangop) and Late Wanjiku. Grandmother and late grandmother of many.

Family and Friends are meeting daily from 3pm-4pm at her home in Raini Nijeke village for burial preparation and prayers.

A celebration of Gladys Kamendi’s life and burial will be on Friday 19/06/2020 at her home.
