Son of the late Solomon M’Maitima and the late Dorcas Kithumba. Husband of Flora Mwari. Father of Murithi, Naitore, Nkirote, Kendi, Kairuthi and Kaberia. Father-in- law of Beatrice, Erastus, Koome, Edward and Jeremy. Son-in-law of the late Paul M‘Itwerandu, and the late Mary Muiti. Brother of Sarah and Eliud (Kiirua), the late Rebbecca and the late Karol (Kiirua), Mwongera and Margaret (Nairobi), Kagiira and the late Kaimenyi (Nchoroiboro), the late Ruuri and the late Rebbecca (Naari), Ndubi and Karimi (Naari), the late Kibobori and Kirema (Mombasa). Grandfather of Munene, Zawadi, Bruce, Makena, Kiptoo, Mukiri, Chris, Muthethia, Lorine and Nkatha.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Tuesday 16th June 2020 at 8.00am and thereafter prayers and burial at his home in Ngururno -Kianjogu Village Meru County. Strict adherence to all Ministry of health and Government of Kenya Directives relating to Covid 19 will be observed.

The Catholic Archdiocese of Nyeri and the family regret to announce the demise of Rev. Fr. Prof. Donatus Mathenge Githui who passed on while undergoing treatment at Mater Hospital — Nairobi on 10th June, 2020.

Son of the late Claudius Githui and Ferdinada Nyawira Githui. He was the Brother to Ladislaus Maina Githui, Tarsira Gichimu, Zimphorosa Wangui Kariuki, Boniface K Githui, Francis Kiboi Githui and Margaret Wambui Maina. Brother in law to Martha Wambui Maina, David Gichimu, Anastasia Wanjiru Karimi, Jane Makena Kiboi and James Maina Ndirangu. He was an uncle to many.

Rev. Fr. Prof. Donatus Mathenge Githui served the Church in many places including; Office of Vicar General, Diocesian Administrator, Rector Christ the King Major Seminary (CKMS), Mwenji Parish, Kiganjo, Othaya, Nyahururu, King’ong’o and Dedan Kimathi University of Science and Technology (Dekut) where he served as a Lecturer and Chaplain till his demise.

The Cortege leaves St Michael Funeral home Mathari, Nyeri on Tuesday (16th June, 2020) for Funeral Mass at Mathari Pastoral grounds from 10.00am and burial thereafter at Mathari Clergy Cemetery.

Eternal Rest Grant unto him O Lord and let Perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen

Mother in law of Meshack, Branice and Rolf. Doting grandmother of Brian, Doreen, Derrick, Lavender, Winright, Seraphine, Prudence, Joshua, Stella, Newlyn, Joseph, Solomon, Ryan, Owen and Max.

The cortege will leave Jumuia Funeral home, Kaimosi, on Friday 12th June at 3p.m. for the funeral service at Salvation Army Church Lidambitsa, burial thereafter at her home in Lidambitsa Village on Saturday 13th June 2020 at 8am

Strict adherence to all Ministry of Health and Government of Kenya directives relating to COV1D-19 will be observed.

Beloved wife to the late Gideon Ndunda Mbila and a co-wife to Alice Kavuo Ndunda. Beloved mother to Paul Mbithi, serah Mutiso, Jane Mutiso (Mama Mwende), Agnes Kiteke, Josphat Mwololo, Monica Muia, Jaspher Mutuku (Makindu), Joshua Mutunga, Nicholas Ndunda (Pacino), Fredrick Makau, Douglas Mbolu, and Onesmus Mulwa. She was a step-mother to Joyce Musikwa, Jonathan Muema, Agnes Mwikali, Tony Musa, Stephen Kikumu Ndunda, Idah Sabina and Patricia Ndunda. Mother-in-law to Priscilla Mbithi, Wilfred Nzomo, late Daniel Mutiso, late Joel Kiteke, Late Ruth Mwololo, Mary Josphat, late Muia Mateng’e, Rachael Mutuku, Teresia Mutunga, Christine Musyoki, Mary Makau, Rosine Mbolu and Maggy Mulwa. The late Naomi has left behind 59 grandchildren. 78 Great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Her body is lying at Montezuma Funeral Home awaiting burial to be held at her home Munyuni Katani Sub-location on Saturday, 13th June 2020.

Sister-in-law to the late Kamau, Thuo, Kungu of Githunguri and Wambui of Kagwe Grandmother to Kim, Nyambura,Wagacha, Mbugua, Nduta, Andrew, Bubi, Wangui, Thuo, Kabage, Mbugua junior and Nyambura junior. Mum was a devoted christian and a member of Woman’s Guild, Kangemi.

The cortege will leave Coptic Hospital mortuary on Tuesday 16th at 9am. The burial well be held on Tuesday the 16th June 2020 in Kagwe Farm Githunguri.

Mother-in law of Janet Masai, Irene Shapaya, Marjorie Masai, ACP Kenya Prisons Susan Majere, Sarah Chitunga, Violet Masai and Ruth Masai. Grandmother of Grace, Sikhama, Humphrey Masai, Dr Titus Masai, Sarah Agare, Collins, Fred, CEO Kocela Ltd Abel Masai, Norah, Marlene, Hope among others. She is survived by 8 children, 72 grandchildren and 73 great grandchildren. She was a mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother and a friend to many more.

The cortege will leave Lugulu Funeral home on Friday, 12th June, 2020 for an overnight stay at her Shitirira Home. Burial will take place on Saturday, 13th June, 2020.
