Formerly of Standard Chartered Bank (Machakos, Old Mutual & Kimathi Street branches) and Micato Safaris Ltd.

Son of Mwalimu Festus Ngigi Kamau and Joyce Nyambura of Kamaguta, Mugoiri, Muranga County. Husband of the late Grace Wanjeri Githura. Loving father of Joy Kamau and Wendy Kamau both of UK. Elder brother of Henry Kangethe Ngigi (Mombasa), Annie Ngigi (Kiambu County Government), Peter Ngigi (U.S.A), David Gicheha (Thika) and Nancy Wambui Ngigi (U.S.A). Brother-in-law of Mary Ngigi (U.S.A), Gladys Gicheha and Felisters Muchera Githura among others. Uncle of Martinlewis, Christella, Lidni, Cynthia and Joy.

Funeral will take place on Tuesday, 28th April, 2020 at Parndon Wood Cemetery, along Parndon Wood Road, Harlow, UK at 12:30pm (London time).

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing on of Mr. Fredrick Nyaga Mbogo of Kathuniri Village, Nginda Ward, Mbuvori Sub-Location, Embu North Sub-county in Embu County.

Son of the late Joseph Mbogo Mugambi and Agnes Rwamba and Stepson of the late Lydia Irimba. Brother of Bernard Ngoroi, Venancia Gitiri, Mary Wambeti and the late Muthoni Mbogo.

Husband of Linda Kagendo. Father of Stella Wawira, Eric Muriithi and Lillian Muthoni. Grandfather of Tuari Munene, Nandi Kainyu, Zani Mwenda, Shangwe Mulinge and Sifu Nyaga. Uncle, brother, father, mentor and friend to many.

The burial is today Friday 24th April 2020. Cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home at 9.00am and funeral service at 11:00am at his home in Kathuniri.

With broken hearts and laser beam faith we announce the passing away of Anastasia Antonia Obonyo on Tuesday 20th April 2020 after an illness bravely borne.

Beloved wife of japuonj Joseph Obonyo, mother to: the late Jayson Okinda, Natasha Koyo, Josephine Nyange, Jean Christian, Claire Kimani, Ivy Maina and Charlene Kivele. Daughter of the late Priscilla Mativo and Mzee Kilonzo Nzau, sister to Anastasia Monthe, James Nyumu, Beatrice Muloko, Titus Musembi (late), Leila Mwikali, George Kimeu, Francisca Katee and Sylvester Mutiso. Mother in law to June Mwende, Nick Koyo, Vincent Nyange, Kimani Maina and Alex Maina. Grandmother to Adhis, Stephanie, Marcus, Ronald, Annastacia, Donovan, Jayson, Njunguna JJ, Ryan, Tade and Cuba.

She was also a director at Jayson Academy, board member at Ramba Secondary School and Bondo Teachers Training Institute.

The late Anastasia was laid to rest on Thursday 23rd April 2020 at her home in Asembo village, Ramba, Rarieda Constituency.

We celebrate you for the time we shared together. You were diligent, hardworking, social, philosophical and intrinsically a connoisseur. You were practical in all spheres of your life. Your fierce love for your family and your protective-ness of them was exhibited in how practical you were. Your advice and solutions were real, practical and well grounded. You were elegant. An elegance born of an innate sense of beauty and appreciation of colour. An elegance born of your fierce independence of thought and action. Death ends a life but not a relationship. To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people just exist. But for you, you lived.

Brother of the late Lazaro Marco, Simon Onyach, John Onyango Nyagowa, Phillip Onyach, Angelina Akongo, Sophia Aduda, the late Fedelis Ayoo and the late Dorcila Akumu. Stepbrother of Evans Ochieng and Helen Adhiambo. Father of the late Evelyn Obuya, Beatrice Obuya (UK), Jacqueline Obuya (Plan International), the late Millicent Obuya, Steve Obuya (Universal Pack – Italy), Edwin Obuya, Phidelis Obuya (Heritage Associates) and Stacy Obuya. Father-in-law of Farouk Olang, Arabron Osanya-Nyyenque, Cinza Esposito. Grandfather of Chrispine Omondi, Abdulraham Olang, Esther Osanya amongst others.

Owing to the Government restrictions on gathering Michael Obuyas’ remains have been preserved at Lee Funeral home awaiting a funeral date.

The Funeral will take place at his rural home in Nyatoto — Suba District Rhuma Location.

Peter Karanja Mburu, who until his demise was a member of County Assembly of Nakuru representing Lakeview ward in Naivasha Sub-County, following a tragic road accident on Sunday 19th April, 2020, At Gilgil on the Nakuru Nairobi Highway.

Son of the late Dr. Evans Mburu Muiiru & Purity Mugure Mburu-layreader A.C.K St. Mary’s Kabete. Beloved Husband of Damaris Wanjiru Karanja. Loving Father of Sivan Mburu Karanja and Marjorie Mugure Karanja of High Peak Academy, Naivasha. Son in Law of the late Joyce Gathoni. Brother of Engineer Ndirangu Mburu (DIRA), Architect James Njoroge Mburu (South Africa) formerly Habitech Consultancy Architects. Nephew and uncle of many.

Family and friends are meeting at the A.C.K All Saints Naivasha for funeral arrangement from 3.00 p.m – 6.00 p.m daily.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral home on 24th Apri1, 2020 at 8.00 am for a church service at All Saints A.C.K Church Naivasha. He will be laid to rest at his farm in Nyondia village in Karate.
