It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Kennedy Kaunda Ngonze of Data Net – Uganda, which occurred on 10th April 2020 in Uganda after battling with synersis problems.

Son of the late Grishon Ngonze and the late Rhodah Ngonze. Step son of Beatrice Ngonze. Husband of Agatha Mumbe. Father of Dennis, Faith, late Erick and Raymond. Brother of Kyalo, late Ngungu, David, Nzomo, Mwau, John, Joel, Jonah, Jemimah, Hellen, Monicah, the late Nduku and Mumo.

He will be laid to rest in his home at kithumba village, mukaa location Makueni county 30th April 2020.

In God’s arms you rest and in our hearts you remain forever Rest in peace. Amen.

It is with deep sorrow and a humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Julie Njeri Koinange Ngigi on the 25th of April 2020 in India. Julie was a dynamic and influential human rights advocate. Formerly with FIDA and UNHCR, a LSK member, a founder member of Women Ambassadors for Peace and the California East Africa Tea Tourism Association, a real estate developer and a great Kenyan Patriot.

Wife of Dominic Njoroge Ngigi. Mother to Kinyenje Ngigi and Karuga Ngigi. Daughter of the late Joseph Karuga Koinange and Grace Njeri Koinange. Sister to David and Njambi Koinange. Daughter-in-law of the late P. J. Ngigi and Pauline Ndindi Ngigi. Sister-in-law of Nduta Kibathi, Treza Kihara, Joseph Ngigi & Muhoro Ngigi.

A funeral service was held in Gurugram, Haryana State, India, on Monday 27th April 2020. A memorial service will be announced later, after the Covid- 19 pandemic abates.

Loving daughter of Jennifer Tirindi M’Miriti and the late Geoffrey M’Miriti. Wife of Samuel Murithi Kibaki. Mother of Patrick Kaume, Bernard Mutuma, Faith Kanyua and Jennifer Kagendo. Sister of Alice Gitonga, Lucy Kathambi, Joyce Mukami, Kinanu, Gacheri and Monica. Sister of Kaaria, Mbaabu and Mutwiri. Grandmother of Favour, Kendi, Nkatha, Munene, Muchui, Mwirigi and Ezra.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 4pm at Kigucwaa, Kiangorwe Village for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves the Meru General Mortuary on Tuesday 28th April 2020 at 9:00am and proceed for burial at her home in Kigucwaa, Kiangorwe Village Akairu at 11:00am.

With profound sadness we announce the passing on of Jane Anne Adhiambo Omondi, our loving and devoted sister, aunt and friend. Jane went to rest with the Lord on 25th April, 2020 at 06:12 PM after battling endometrial cancer for 1 year.

Jane loved people and touched the lives of many in different aspects. She worked as a Quality Assurance specialist with a variety of multinationals among them Uniliver in Kenya and South Africa, Bidco Oil Refinery Kenya. She also had a career serving as a lecturer at Nairobi Polytechnic (TUK) and most recently at JKUAT in the department of food science and technology. At the time of her demise Jane was serving as a consultant on Quality Assurance and ISO Standards with Bellie and Roaster.

She is the third born in a family of 12. Jane was daughter to Mzee Ezekiel Omondi Obare, Mama Agnes Anna Aoko Omondi, the late Plista Omondi and Mama Pamela Omondi. Sister to the late Michael Daggan Obare, Maria Anyango Omondi, Dr. Lilian Omondi, Eveylne Kadogo Omondi, Benjamin Omondi, Mildred Awuor Mukolwe, Grace Patricia Omondi, Olive Awuor Omondi, Hosea Omondi, Christine Salome Omondi, and Faith Eunice Omondi. Jane is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and grandchildren all of who will surely miss her.

She will be laid to rest on 28th April, 2020 in Ugunja sub-county, Siaya County.

Paul hails from Kaimba, Muguga ward, Kabete Sub-County, Kiambu County.

The cortege leaves the Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday 28th April at 9:00am and proceed for burial at his home in Kaimba Kahuho at 11.00am.

It is with deep sorrow but with thanksgiving, that we announce the death of Retired Elder James Ole Kashorda, which occurred on 25th April, 2020. Mzee Kashorda was a member of the East African Revival Fellowship (Tukutendereza).

Son of the late Kashorda Ole Kooi and the late Mrs.Wanjiru Kashorda. Husband of the late Mrs. Tabitha Kashorda, and later upon the death of Tabitha, to the late Rev. Jane Kashorda.

Father of Margaret Naisenya; Salaon & Immaculate; Nashepae & Wachira; Letayian & Murugi; Lemaiyan & Amy; Meoli & Christine; Sisisanoi & John Olsen (Australia); Simaloi & Gitau; and also Rev. John Kamau & Ruth.

Blessed with 23 grandchildren and 8 great grand children.

Mzee Kashorda will be laid to rest on Wednesday, 29th April, 2020, 11:OOAM, at the PCEA Enoomatasiani, Matasia.

In light of the obtaining MoH guidelines, there will be no gatherings or prayer meetings at his home and the funeral service will be limited to members of the family. A memorial service will be held in due course. Friends and relatives can send their condolences to [email protected].
