It is with profound sadness and with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the sudden death of Mr. Fredrick Kimengech Chepkuto of Kapchesang, Kaplumbei Vilage, Baringo County which occurred on 15th December in his Mumberes farm.

Son of the late John Chepkuto Chesang and the late Elizabeth Kobilo Chesang. Beloved husband of Veronica Nkatha Kimengech. Loving father of Carol Njeri Kimengech, Martin Kiplumbei Kimengech, Dorothy Jemator Mageto, (Chepkuto Advocates), Faith Jebet Keter(USA) and Kelvin Kipsang. Father-in-law of Alvin Mageto and Kevin Keter. Grandfather of Alex, Isabelle, Cameron, Arielle and Andre’. Brother of Rael Lang’at, late Eileen Ng’ochoch, Florence Toroitich, late Joshua Chepkuto and Prof. Paul Chepkuto. Brother-in-law of Lang’at, Paul, Joel, Rael, Gladys, Kimathi, Mutungi, Jane, late Muthomi, Kanugu, Gatobu and many others. Cousin of Hon. Boit, Job, Johnstone, Jacob, Julia, Richard, Milka, Robert, Dan, Chris, Kandie, Stella Chumo (Nakuru) and many others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Chergei Village, Kabarak, Nakuru County. The fundraiser will be on Monday 23rd December 2019 (Mpesa 0727 900033).

The cortege leaves War Memorial Hospital Mortuary on Friday 27th December 2019 and will be laid to rest on the same day at his home in Chergei, Kabarak Nakuru County.

The Cortege will leave Aga-Khan Hospital Mortuary, Kisumu on 27th December 2019 at 1.00pm for a funeral service at St Francis Got Bondo Asembo Kakia and burial on 28.12.2019 at his home in Asembo Got Bondo.

Husband of Mrs Doris Nyongesa, Retired Principal Matulo Friends Girls Secondary School. Son of the late Reuben Makokha and Priscilla Naliaka. Father of Stephen, the late Edwin, Dan(Guru), Sellah, Esther, Felistus and Felix. Brother of Abraham, Elizabeth, Caro, Charles, Mildred, Stella, Justus, Rose, Judith, Jescah and Musa. Cousin of Senior Chief Protus Kutore. In-law of Jim, Simon Natwati, Simon Wakhungu, Robert, Christopher, Benard,Clerah, Roseline, Caroline, Edwin and Josephat. Father in law of Victor and Jasper. Grandfather of Dennis, Talya, Emmanuel, Ledama, Lemiso, Brian and Sean-Ray.

The body left Lifecare Mortuary on 19th December 2019 and burial will be on 21st December 2019 at his Webuye home, opposite the weighbridge.

Brother of the late Samuel Gathunguri and Mary Gathunguri (Baltimore), Peter and Catherine Mwaura, the late Moses Kagia, Rachel Nyambura Waweru (Baltimore) and Jane Waithira Mbugua. Dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

The cortege leaves KU mortuary on Tuesday 24/12/19 at 9am for a service and burial at the family farm in Banana – Muthurwa next to Muthurwa Primary School starting from 11am.

Memorial service shall be held at 10 AM on Monday December 23, 2019 at Kenya Assemblies of God South C Church located along Oleshapara Road next to the Kenya Water Institute.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home Nairobi on Thursday December 26, 2019, for overnight stay at her home in Rongo, Migori County. A funeral mass and burial shall be held on Friday December 27, 2019 at her home.

The burial will take place on 4th January 2020 at his Uhonya Nyabeda Farm, North Gem Siaya County.

There shall be a fundraiser to defray hospital and funeral expenses on Friday 20th December 2019 at the Professional Centre, Parliament Road, starting from 5pm. A final harambee will be held on 31st December 2019 at the same venue.
