Brother of Jonathan Matoke Chweya (Retired Head Teacher Metamaywa Pri School and First CDF Chairman Nyaribari Masaba), Elder Yabesh Okemwa Chweya (Nicotents), Rudia Nyangau, Grace Kiage, Martha Mauko, Joyce Mose, Alice Chweya, Alfred Matoya Chweya (Homa-bay County), the late Truphosa Daniel and Josca Kennedy. Husband of Jennifer Chelangat Mochama. Son-in-law of Azariah Bor and Alice Bor. Father of Fridah Kwamboka Yegon (USA), Maureen Omenyo (Deakin University, Australia), Laban Chweya (UoN). Father-in-law of Eden Sang Yegon. Brother-in-law of the late Jane Matoke, Agnes Okemwa, Esther Matoya. Brother of the late Nthenya Mutua, the late Katiku Mutua and Muthusi Mutua. Brother-in-law of Musyoki Ndambuki, Wambua Ndambuki, Cecilia Muthoka, Ndavi Ndambuki and Kamene Ndambuki.

Father in law of Caroline Karimi the late Esperanza Igoki, Colletta Kaimuri, Hellen Karambu and Purity Wambui. The cortege leaves Nanyuki Level Five Hospital Mortuary at 8:00am on Saturday 21st September 2019 for burial the same day at the family home in Giaki Meru County.

The family, friends and associates are saddened to announce the untimely death of Mr. Kenneth Okoth Onyango, after sudden illness on Wednesday 11th September 2019 at St. John’s Hospital.

Son of Evelyn Okoth, the late Mama Agneter Adhiambo, and Step-Mother Grace Otieno. Ken leaves behind, his wife Catherine Muthethya, children Ivy Agneter Okoth, Neville Baraka Okoth and Kelsey Amara Okoth. Brother of Lester Omondi (Seychelles), Christine Atieno (St. Scholastica Uzima Hospital), the late Anyango, Eunice Akinyi, Gerson Ondu, Anna Aloo, Joan Awino; Step-brother of Fabian, Immaculate and Liz Onyango. The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary on Monday 23rd September, 2019 at 9.00am for a funeral service and interment at his home in Kiaritha-ini village Karatina, Mathira Sub-County, Nyeri County

Mother of Njuguna, Wanjiru, Mwangi, Muthee, Gathoni (Australia), the late Wahome, the late Wachira and Juliet Wanjiku. Mother in law of Muraguri, Elizabeth, Wangui, Teresa, Mwangi, Muchiri, Wangechi and Wambui. Step-mother of Njuguna, Muthoni, Wanjiru, the late Wanjiku, the late Wanjohi, Wamuyu, Regina, the late Muthee, Wamai and Nyambura.

Sister of Wangari, Gaita, Margaret, Wangui and Muturi, Thuku, Muthoni among many others. Sister-in-law of the late Wanjiku, the late Muthee, the late Wachira, the late Nduru, Ngima, Nderitu and the late Wangari. The late Caroline Wangari is loved and will be missed by her siblings, children, In laws, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends and family are meeting daily at her Chieni home and at Abbey Hotel opposite Malindi Dishes at 6.00 pm daily.

The cortege leaves KU funeral home at 7.30am on Tuesday 24th September 2019 and thereafter prayers and burial will be held at her home in Chieni, Mathira west at 11.00 am.
