Paul Kiambo (Papa) Muriithi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Paul Kiambo (PAPA) Muriithi on 26th June 2017. Until his death, Papa was a student at Victoria University, Melbourne Australia.

Son of Patrick Muriithi Miano (Formerly KNEC) and Esther Wanjiku Muriithi of Kitengela, New Valley estate. Brother of Linda Khamis and Josphat Miano (both of Australia). Grandson of the late Mr. Josephat Miano (Kiriro) and Josephine Miano; the late Mr/Mrs Joseph Kiambo of Kamugunda village, Baragwi, Kirinyaga County. Nephew of Esther, Ruguru, Seline, Nancy, Kariuki, David, James, Njeru and others. Cousin of Andrew KimathiUni), Rose (MMU), Nyaga, Wamboi Pius, Nyambu (Finland) Eunice (USA) Alice, Sonnie, Rahab, Muriithi, Edna (coast) and others. Uncle of many.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at his parent’s residence in New Valley Kitengela, Maasai Discovery Kitengela and at UpperHill Springs in Nairobi everyday from 5.30 pm. The cortege leaves Kibugi funeral home, Kutus on Wednesday 26th July 2017 at 9.00am for funeral service and burial thereafter at Kamugunda Town, Gichugu, Kirinyaga County.

1914-2017 Age 103 Years

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mariam Wangari Johana (Wandungo).

Wife of the late Johana Muu Kihia. Co-wife of the late Elizabeth Nyakarimi Johana, Charity Muthoni Johana, and the late Seliphah Wanjiku Johana. Mother of Elena Nyaruai Johana, Esther Nyaruai Johana and Mwaniki Johana among many others.

She will be laid to rest at her Kahiga Home, Gachika Sub-location; Nyeri County on Saturday July 29 2017.

Brother of Murichu Kihiko and Step Brother of Robert Kinuthia Kihiko among others. Father-in-law of Bedan Githua, Eliud Kithome, Ann Muthoni and Patricia Kadzo. Family and friends are meeting at his Mwihoko II residence (near Kiriri University), his daughter’s residence at Utawala and at Eureka Highrise Hotel 5th Floor for prayers and burial arrangements. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Wednesday 2nd August. There will be a shortprayer service at KU Funeral Home Chapel at 8:30 am – 9:00 am before leaving to Kiranga Village, Muruka Location, Kandara, Murang’a County for Burial Service.

Muriuki (Jeff-U.O.N) Peterson Muchangi, the late Jedidah Wambui and John Nderi. Doting mother-in-law of Miriam Wairimu, Mary Wanjiku, Sue Muriuki and Jemimah Jeff. Grandmother and Great Grandmother of Many.

Funeral meetings are being held at P.C.E.A St.Andrew’s Church Plenary Hall, between 5 and 7pm, and her home at Kabonge.

Body viewing will be at Jamii Hospital Karatina on Friday 28th July 2017 at 8a.m. Followed by the Funeral Service at ACK St. James Kabonge Church at 10am and thereafter interment at her home at Kabonge.
