Son of the late Ngubunu and late Wanjiku. Father of Michael Gacuca, the late Esther Wanjiku, Obadiah Ng’ethe (Murigi), Christopher Muiruri, Joseph Mburu, Virginia Gathoni, Martin Njoroge, Ephantus Kanyua, the late Bernard Ng’ang’a, Jacinta Wanjiku, Peter Muiruri, Samuel Kinyanjui, Rose Njoki, Jane Wanjiru, Mary Njoki and John Maina. Father in law, a grandfather and a great grandfather of many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Wednesday 8th March 2017 at 8am for funeral service and burial thereafter at his home in Kiawambutu Village, Gatitu sub-location, Muruka Location, Murang’a County.

It is with profound shock that we announce the untimely death of Kelvin Kamau Kinuthia of Zimmerman that occurred on 26th February 2017 through a tragic murder.

The first born son of James Kinuthia of UNC, Haiti, and Faith Kinuthia of Zimmerman. Cherished brother of Alex Kamau Kinuthia and Alice Joy Njoki of Phileo Kindergaten Zimmerman. Grandson of Mr Richard Kamau and the late Mrs Alice Njoki Kamau of Kagaa, Kiambu; and the late Mr Francis Kamau Muthiori and Rosemary Muthoni of Kiaguthu, Murang’a. He was a nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his parents home in Zimmerman for prayers and at Blue Springs hotel alongThika road from 5 pm for burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves St Francis Hospital Mortuary Kasarani on Friday 10th March 2017 at 8am for a funeral service and burial at his grand father’s home in Kagaa Sub-location, Lari, Kaimbu County.

The Family of the late Henry Kinyua would like to sincerely thank all those who stood by us during this very difficult time when our dear Henry passed on.

First, we thank the Almighty God who gave us Henry for 80 wonderful years and for blessing us as we planned his last journey.

We would also like to thank the church – the Lavington United Methodist Church led by by Rev Tom Otieno and his entire team, Kinaru Church in Meru led by Bishop Lawi Imathiu and his entire team and all the other pastors who prayed with us, consoled us on the last day, ensured we gave Henry a befitting send off.

Special thanks go to all the doctors, especially Dr Omanga and Dr Patel of Aga Khan Hospital who ensured we got the best care, all the nurses and the care givers for going beyond their call of duty to ensure Henry was comfortable.

We shall be forever grateful to the family and all our friends who gave us immense support through their prayers, visits at home to condole the family and their generous giving of their time and resources. We are overwhelmed by your love.
