It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Solomon Nguyo Muteru (Businessman Mombasa) husband of Jane Wangari Nguyo KRA Mombasa which happened after long illness on Saturday 18/0212017 at Mombasa Hospital.

Son of the late Francis Muteru Githogori and Late Peninah Wamwari Muteru. Son in-law of late Mr. & Mrs. Stanley Mukigi Maragwa, Muranga County. Father of Kevin Nguyo, Marvin Nguyo and Ednah Nguyo. Brother of the late Eva Muteru, George and Jane, Rebecca and Chomba, Alice and Githinji, Gladys and Ndumia. Felister Muteru, Mwangi and Grace and the late Samwel Gichuki. Uncle and grandfather of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for funeral arrangements at their home in Kizingo Mombasa near PCEA St Margaret and at Lasco Hall in Mombasa and at Antonio Grill opp. Cardinal Otunga Plaza, Nairobi, at 6pm. There will be a funds raising to offset funeral expenses at Lasco hall in Mombasa on Wednesday 22/02/201 7 at 6pm.

The cortege leaves Nyahururu Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 25/02/2017 at 7am funeral service and burial at Ndaragwa next to Kihara Secondary school in Nyandarua County at 11am.

Son of late Muiruri Muturi and late Alice Wangu. Husband of Nancy Njoki. Father of John Muiruri, Alice Wangu, Charles Karanja, Pius Muturi, and Catherine Wanjiku. Father-in-law of Eunice Wairimu, Elisipah Waria, David Kamande and Alex Mwangi. Brother of Paul Mburu, Veronica Wanjiru and Beth Wahu. Son-in-law of the late Esther Nyambura and Joseph Karanja. Brother-in-law of late Peter Mburu, late David Ngugi, late Rose Wanjiru, Benedeta Wairimu, Mary Wathogo and Jane Ng’endo.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers, funeral arrangements and raising funds to meet the hospital bill at his rural home at Kamoro village, Kandara, Murang’a County from 5.00pm and at Magomano Hotel in Nairobi from 6.00pm.

Steve Mbuthia Wainaina

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Steve Mbuthia Wainaina that occurred on the morning of Wednesday 15th February 2017 in Thika, Kiambu County.

Son of Edward Wainaina Gathigi and Susan Wangui Wanaina (both of Thika). Brother of Nancy Gathoni Lightcey (USA) and Simon Gathigi Wainaina (Thika). Brother-in-law of Assadi. Uncle of Christian, Tatiana and Ethan.

He was adventurous and had a passion for sports. He was a scrutineer of Kenya Motor Sports Federation (KMSF) and a Kenya Nation Rally Championship (KNRC) Navigator. He was also a golfer at Thika Sports Club.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Coconut-Grill Hotel Thika starting at 6pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves General Kago Funeral Home – Thika Level 5 – on Thursday 23rd February 2017 at 7am for the funeral service and burial at his home in Miharati, Nyandarua County at 11am.

Sister of the late George Otieno. the late Frank Ombima, Bervely Oyieko, and the late Churchil Onyino.
