Naomi Wanjiru Mukaru

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Naomi Wanjiku Mukaru of Kamuchege, kwa Mbari ya Ndura Village, Gatamaiyu Location, Lari Constituency.

Wife of Ernest Mukaru. Co-wife of the late Virginia Wanjiru Mukaru. Daughter of the late Benson Mwenda Kamau and the late Hannah Wambui Mwenda. Step daughter of Edith Karogo Mwenda. Mother of the late Hellen Wambui, Esther Nduta, Monicah Muchiri, Isaac Kamau (U.S.A), Alice Nduta, Eunice Migwe, Benson Mwenda (Muguga), Cyrus Thumbi (Petkas), Peter Kamicha, Andrew Mukaru (Nakuru), Rev. Zachary Mukaru (Nakuru) the late Agnes Ngigi, John Mukaru (Nyahururu), Anne Kamau, Tabitha Gituto and David Mukaru (Cedam Electricals). Mother-in-law of Julius Muchiri, Wamaitha Kamau, Agnes Wangari, Mary Muthoni, Elizabeth Wambui, Ann Mburu, Agnes Wambui, Michael Gituto and Alice Njeri. Sister of Kamau Mwenda, Wangari Muigai, Peter Ng’ang’a, John Mbuthia the late Julius Kung’u the late Jonah Ngugi and Wangui Njihia. Step sister of Wanjiku Elijah, Salome Wanjiru and Leah Njeri. Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Kamuchege, kwa Mbari ya Ndura Village and on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st February at Millennium 2000 Hotel Nyamakima from 6.30pm for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves St Teresa’s Mortuary Thindigua, Kiambu, on Wednesday 22nd February 2017 at 8am. Funeral service will take place at PCEA Murera Church Kamuchege at 10am and thereafter, burial at her Kamuchege home.
