It is with profound grief and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. Peter Mutemi Muthui on Wednesday, 15th Feb, 2017 at the Coptic Hospital. Son of the late Simeon Muthui Mwalwa and the late Agnes Kalekye Muthui of Mui Location, Mwingi East, Kitui County. Step son of the late Esther Katonyi, and Beatrice Kalunda.

Loving husband of Monicah Kyambi Mutemi. Father of Gideon Musili, Grace Kilonzi, Late Felistus Ndanu,Veronica Jemima Kioko, Dr. Musangi Mutua, Georgina Mutindi Mutemi, SSgt Musyoka Mutemi, and late Betty Mutemi. Brother of Kalunda Musili, Kakua Ngui, late Mwende Mutemi, George Moki, Munyithya, late Mary, Kimwele, Mwalika, and Betty Mang’otele. Grandfather of Mutemi & Lucy,Winfred Kyambi & Rogers, Damaris & Kavii Musili; Kyalo & Jemima, Makau & Brenda, Kasau & Makau, Kyambi Kilonzi; Emily Mueni & John, Kyalo & Molly; Mawia& Ken, Papiu & Dan, Eric and Ida Kitheka; Mwikali, Brian and Kyambi Mutua; Ian Mutindi; Mutemi, Kyambi and Pauline Musyoka; and Ndotu Betty. Son-in-law of late Kisombo Munuve and Alice Syoindo. Brother-in-law of Daniel, Shadrack, and Rose Musyima. Father in-law of Mary Musili,Thomas Makau, Kitheka Kioko, Hon. Muluvi, and Munanie Musyoka. Nephew of Late Mutambuki, late Maluva, late Syuvata, late Thomas Musyoka, Syumwathi & Kyambi. Cousin of Kimanzi Maluva, Sarah Mutua, John & Mwendwa Maluva; Mbuvi & Kawela Mutambuki; Muvai Mulunga, Mwendwa & Nzomo Ngungu; Lydia, Kakali Margaret Tirop & late Kiliko; Uncle of Rose Isika, Maluva, Eric Mutua, Dr Wathe Mwangangi and Julius Mwandai.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Holy Family Basillica (Nairobi), Mwingi Parkside Hotel and Mui Home from 5:30pm for funeral arrangements. Burial ceremony will be held on Saturday 25th February, 2017 at his Mui Home.
