It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Ejidio Njiru Kathuita through a tragic accident on the Kathageri -Runyenjes road that occurred on 1st January 2017.

Son of the late Paul Kathuita Mukobo and Cianjoka. Brother of the late Ntheki, Anicia Cianduma, Bishop Anthony Ireri IMC (Diocese of Isiolo), Emilio Nyaga (Nyerere) and Karuki. Father of Rose Kimani, Jane, Ann, Jos phine, Margret, James, Murithi, Kamau and Njeri. He has left 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Prayers and contribution are going on daily from 3.00pm in his home Karundori village, Kyeni N. Location.

The Cortege Leaves Kyeni Hospital Mortuary on Monday 16th January 2017 at 9.00am for funeral mass at Mufu Primary School grounds and thereafter burial ceremony at his home Karundori,

John Ngugi Kuria (Mrefu)

With humility we announce the passing on of John Ngugi Kuria (Mrefu) of Kimende Vegetax Service Store Nyamakima.

Son of the late Jeremiah Kuria and the late Damaris Nyambura and the late Martha Wangui. Husband of Ann Nduta Ngugi and Nancy Wambui Ngugi. Father of Elder Samuel Kimani Ngugi (SK) and Stella Wanjiru of Nafaka Supplies Ltd and Sweet Meal Commodities Ltd, Mary Wanjiru, Peter Kariuki, Simon Maina, Antony Mwangi and Elizabeth Nyawira, Ruth Wanjiku and Hesbon Muguthi, James Njehia and Naomi Wambui, Damaris Nyambura and Arthur Thoithi, Samuel Kuria and Daniel Kimani, the late Damaris Nyambura, the late Robison Kuria. Brother of Simon Ngugi, James Njihia, Stephen Njihia, Lilian Wanjiku, Mary Muthoni and Emma Njeri among others who are late. Grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle of many.

Daily prayers and meetings are held at Millennium 2000 Hotel Duruma Road Nyamakima and at his residence Kasarani and Rongai Kimangu Farm Nakuru County from 6p.m.

Cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Friday 20th January 2017 at 7am for burial service and interment at his Ruai, Kangundo Road, Gituamba Farm (near P.C.E.A Gituamba Church) Nairobi county starting at 10am.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lydiah Murugi Murebu on Thursday 5th January, 20 1 7.

Wife of the late David Murebu Ihuthia. Mother of Peter K. Murebu (Vet Department, Murang’a), James Ngari (Voi), Paul Nderi, Esther Wamathai, George Ng’ere (Aquinas High School), Timothy M. Murebu (Snr A/Chief, Chieni), Margaret Wanjiru (Kitengela), Juliah Wambui (Kasarani), Catherine Gakenia (Ndurutu). Daughter of the late Ngari Mbui and the late Wanjiru Karue. Sister of Elsie Gakenia, Joseph Ng’ere, Huini and Maya (all deceased).

Mother-in-law of Ann, Beatrice, Stellah, Maryanne and Michael.

Friend, Cousin, Auntie, Grandmother and Great grandmother of many.

Friends and family are meeting at her Chieni home daily from 4pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves PCEA Tumutumu Mission Hospital mortuary on Thursday 12th January, 2017 at 8am for a funeral service and burial at her home, Maganjo village, Hieni Sub-location, Mathira West, Nyeri County.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her Marimanti home and Emmacra hotel Nairobi. Burial will be at home Marimanti South Tharaka Sub County, Marimanti location on January 14, 2017.

Gone Too Soon

It is with great sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Dennis Mutuma Mabura (Legal officer, United Nations Jordan-lraq) at the Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi, on 8th January 2017 after a short illness.

Cherished son of the late Mr. James Mabura and Mrs. Helen Mabura of Kambakia, Meru. Beloved brother of Dr Gacheri Mabura of The American University of Sharjah, UAE, Mwenda Mabura of Kenya Airways and Kanana Mabura. Grandson of Mr Murwithania and Mrs Eva Murwithania of Kimbo, Meru and late Mr. M’Manene M’Mwirichia and Mrs Zipporah Nkananci of Mikumbune, Meru.

Beloved mother of Master Mbiyu Koinange, daughter of Mrs Sarah Kanyi (Embu, Manyatta) and Mr. Peter Njeru Mugo (Mugo Advocates). Sister of Mukami Mugo (Remax Properties), Muthoni Mugo, Dr. Nelly Mugo (KEMRI), the late Derek Njine Mugo, David Kaugi, Jimmy Mugo (Raleigh, NC), Njoki Mugo (Titan Cabro Payers, Embu). Auntie of Mugo Njeru, Victor Mugo, Michael Mugo (Maryland, Silverspring), Murugi Mugo (JKUAT), Kagio Derek (JKUAT), Kanyi Sara and Maya Mukami. Sister-in-law of Catherine Wanjira, and Pauline Ndung’u (Kawangware Primary School).

She worked for IBM in Raleigh, North Carolina, and IBM, Nairobi, Kenya IBM; Hazelden Betty Ford and Palm Desert, California.
