Mother of the late Kirea, the late Mwangangi, the late Njeru, Mutegi, Muthengi, Karimi, Muriungi, Mvvenjuku, Mukima, Nkuru, Kabea, Kajira. Aunt of Mwambia, Njeru, Mugambi, Mutugi, Guurne, Muthoni, Gakunyi, Gacungu, Mukima Kam ii ru, Rwiriri. Mother-in-law of Japhet, Makunyi, Kithaka, Njagi (DJ), Kathambi, Jane, Njema, Jane Mwambia, Nkatha. Grandmother of Munene, Tecla, Muchui, Nkirote, Kinya Mukiri, Anne, Kimathi, Faith, Njeri, Gitonga, Makena, Kwenga, Munene, Doreen, Purity, Sammy; Martin, Gitonga, Njeru amoungest others. Great grandmother of 86 great grand children.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her Marimanti home and Emmacra hotel Nairobi. Burial will be at home Marimanti South Tharaka Sub County, Marimanti location on January 14, 2017.
