Lucy Wambugi Mugo

It is with immense sorrow that we regret to announce the sudden death of our beloved Lucy Wambugi Mugo, which occurred on the 6th January 2017 in Palm Desert, California, USA.

Beloved mother of Master Mbiyu Koinange, daughter of Mrs Sarah Kanyi (Embu, Manyatta) and Mr. Peter Njeru Mugo (Mugo Advocates). Sister of Mukami Mugo (Remax Properties), Muthoni Mugo, Dr. Nelly Mugo (KEMRI), the late Derek Njine Mugo, David Kaugi, Jimmy Mugo (Raleigh, NC), Njoki Mugo (Titan Cabro Payers, Embu). Auntie of Mugo Njeru, Victor Mugo, Michael Mugo (Maryland, Silverspring), Murugi Mugo (JKUAT), Kagio Derek (JKUAT), Kanyi Sara and Maya Mukami. Sister-in-law of Catherine Wanjira, and Pauline Ndung’u (Kawangware Primary School).

She worked for IBM in Raleigh, North Carolina, and IBM, Nairobi, Kenya IBM; Hazelden Betty Ford and Palm Desert, California.

Family and friends are meeting at the family farm Kithangarire, Embu and Nairobi at the All Saints Cathedral Church, Ngong’ Road.
