10 Anniversary

April 3rd, 1933 – December 22nd 2006

Ten years ago death, its gloom, its shadow, cast within our home and took from us a shining light. Gone was the happy face we loved so dear, silent was the voice we loved to hear.

Daddy, we do not need a special day to bring you to our minds.

The days we do not think of you are very hard to find. You were our anchor and inspiration.

Your life was an epitome of greatness, generosity and sacrifice.

You would be proud of the legacy you left behind.

Each morning when we awake we know that you are gone.

And no one knows the heartache as we try to carry on.

Ours hearts still ache with sadness and secret tears still flow.

No one will ever know what it meant to lose you.

A million times we needed you, a million times we’ve cried

If love alone could have saved you, you would still be alive

No one can even fill your place or take our memory of you away.

In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still

With each passing year, we have seen God’s light on our path guiding and protecting us.

The family is growing with new additions that carry your name and spirit.

You are not forgotten, Dear Daddy. Nor ever shall you be, we will always hold you in our hearts, you will forever be a part of us.

So until we meet again in heaven, continue being our special angel in heaven.

Fondly remembered and deeply missed by your wives, daughters, sons, grandchildren, family and friends.

There shall be a thanksgiving service at the ACK St Peter’s Church, Ndumberi, Kiambu on Thursday, 22nd December 2016 starting 10am.
