It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Stephen Samoei Seurei of KCB Head Office, Kencom Hse at the Nairobi Hospital on 18th October 2016 following a tragic road accident that occurred in Nakuru. Stephen was the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Kencom Sacco Society Limited and also the Treasurer of the KCB Centra Staff Committee (Union).
Devoted husband of Joan Jepkoech Seurei (Lubwa Thirwa High School — Meru) and loving father of Sandra Chepkorir, Fredrick Chelagat ( both of Sacred Heart, Kyeni) and Shadrack Kiplimo. Son of the late Kibor Seurei, Mrs. Rael Chelamai Seurei and step son of Mrs. Esther Chelel Seurei. Son-in-law of Mr. & Mrs. William and Leah Ngetich. Brother of Selina, Michael, Sammy, Anthony. Ruth, Joseph Bor, Joseph Seurey,Tecla, Moses.Teresa, Leah. Lucy and Jane. Cousin of many.
There will be a fundraising on Tuesday, 25th October, 2016 at 680 Hotel from 5.00pm.
The Cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Thursday 27th October, 2016 at 8.00am for burial at their rural home in Simat Village, Kapseret Sub-County, Eldoret on Friday, 28th October 2016.

It is with heavy hearts that we the Abura family announce the death of Lydia Achieng’ Abura, who passed away on 20th October 2016. at Kenyatta National Hospital, following a short illness.
Achieng’ was a loving and devoted mother of Prince Abura and cherished daughter of the late Johnson Abura and the late Isabella Abura of Kipsitoi farm, Songhor. She is preceded in death by her treasured brothers and sisters, Carren Macpherson. Jack Abura, Lameck Abura, Ken Abura and Janet Chcptoo Abura. She is survived by her sisters Joan Abura, and Lynette Dawa. She was aunty of the late Geoffrey, Sharon, Patncia, John Mark Lameck, Andrew, Isabella, Jackson, Michelle, Peter, Jeanette, Simon and Randy. Sister-in-law of the late Torn Macpherson. Betty Abura. and Sam Dawa. Niece of mama Leah Odida, Prof. Eric Odada, Prof Ernest Odera Odada, Mama Jane Elsa Oyoo among others.
Family and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday, 25th October 2016 and Wednesday, 26th October 2016 at 5:00 pm.
There will be a major fundraising to cover funeral expenses on Thursday, 27th October at All Saints Cathedral at 5pm.

Sister to Magdalene, Tom, the late Josephine, Francis, Fredrick, Caro, Vero, Lucas, Nicholas, Florence, Elizabeth and Jennifer. Sister-in-Law to Getrude, Maggie, Lillian, Benta and Eve.

Aunt to Nicholas, Silvanus, Daisy, among others. Cousin to Tito, Rachael, Beatrice, Rawago, Miriam, the Odinga’s, Owaka’s and the Okello’s among others.

The body leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Funeral Home on Friday (Today) October 21, 2016 for a requiem mass at Our Lady of Assumption, Majengo, Eldoret.

Burial is on Saturday October 22, at Dudi Village, Kisa West Location, Kakamega County.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday 27th October at 10am at CITAM Valley Road followed by burial at Langata Cemetery at 1pm.

Brother of the late Njenga Kahura, Alice Nduta and Naomi Wanjiru. Brother in law of Solomon Mwenda, Mary Njenga and Kimani Mungai. Uncle of Peter Mwenda, Meldrine Wanjiku, Engineer Njenga among others.Grandfather to 23 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Grandfather of Ivy Nyokabi, Hope Wanjiku, lan Kabaru, Natasha Njoki and Gathigia Ngacha. Cousin, brother-in-law, and uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting at United Kenya Club, State House Road opposite St. Paul’s Chapel in Nairobi from 5.30pm, at Ibis I Hotel Karatina from 5.30pm and at the family home in Kiamabara, Karatina.
A memorial service will be held at PCEA Nairobi West Church on 20th October from 11 am.
The funeral service will be held at Kiamabara primary school grounds followed by burial at his home on Friday. 21st October, 2016 from 10am.
