It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that the family of the late Peter Ogangah Ogutu announce the passing of Mama Grace Atieno Ogangah on the 2nd of June 2026 after a short illness.

Mama Grace was born in Kamuma Village of Oyugis Homabay County to the late John Oyoko Omwanda and ‘the Late Yunes Oyoko, step daughter to Jennifer Oyoko and Beldina Oyoko. She was the loving wife to the late Peter Ogangah Ogutu of Kasgunga, Kamagambo-sare, Rongo, Migori County. Grace was a daughter in law to Mzee John Ogutu Ogangah, and Mama Roselida Wanam Ogutu. Her step mothers were the late Mama Miriam Munga and the late Mama Mercela Mboya Ogutu.

She was the first daughter in a family of fourteen and was raised alongside her siblings: Prof. Odhiambo Oyoko, the late Oscar Oyoko, Prisca Akeyo, Rachel Akoth, James Otieno, Stephen Nyamisi, Millicent Oyoko, the late Jackline Adhiambo, the late Nyacharo, the late Onyango, Immaculate Oyoko, Molly Oyoko and Allan Oyoko. Her cousins include Ted Olang, Damar, Steve Omollo, Solomon, Rebecca, Jany, Elsa, Awino, Ezra, Javan, Duncan, and the late Churchill amongst others.

She was a devoted mother to eight children: Maureen Ogangah, Rose Ogangah, Claris Ogangah, Janet Ogangah, Patrick Ogangah, Christine Ogangah, Lydia Ogangah and John Ogutu Ogangah (Mike). Grand mother to Greg, Trevor (US), Glen, Castro (Australia), Larry (Canada), Barry (US), lan, Karl, Xavier, Vanessa, Ethan, Ella, Pete Jnr (UK), William Jnr (UK) and Nathan.
Mother-in-law to Laban Onono, Richard Roche, Dr. Ezekiel Onyango, the late Caroli Kasuku, Dr. Judith Oloo Otula, Aggrey Osiemo, Ramsey Afande, and Stella Gakii.

At the time of his passing, Philip was serving at the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA).

A fund-raising to support funeral arrangements and interment will be held on Thursday, 11th June 2026, at the Holy Family Minor Basilica, Nairobi (St. Faustina Hall), starting at 5:30 PM. Family, friends, and well-wishers are cordially invited to attend and offer their support.

A Nairobi Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday, 17th June 2026, at Christ the King Church, Embakasi, beginning at 2:00 PM.

The cortege will depart from Montezuma Funeral Home on Thursday, 18th June 2026, at 5:00 AM for the final journey to Alego Nyajuok, Rabuor Village. The Requiem Mass and Rite of Committal will take place on Friday, 19th June 2026, at Alego Nyajuok, Rabuor Village, commencing at 9:00 AM.

The late Bernard Angwenyi Ondari had a prolonged illness since February 2026, and was taken to Bosongo hospital, then later to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital, and to St. Teresa Hospital, Kiarnbu, where his body was finally laid to rest.

A requiem mass will be held on Thursday, 11th June 2026, at St Catherine of Siena Parish, Kitisuru Kirawa Road, between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

The cortege leaves St. Teresa Hospital Funeral Home, Kiambu; on Friday, 12th June, to his Kisii home in Mesaria, Kitutu Chache.

He was a cherished son of Francis Kimeu Mbuvi and Georginah Mwongeli Malonza; a dear husband of Dorcas Malia Katee; and a devoted father of Esther Mwongeli, Isaac Kimeu, and Joseph Mumo. He was a loving brother of Faith Koki, Samuel Mbuvi, and Benjamin Musyoki; and a son-in-law of the late Ambrose Katee and Alice Kathini.
Titus was a brother-in-law of Joseph Maina, Patric Mulinge, Ngila, Tom Ojienda, Stephen Wanyoike, .Joyce, Winnie, Clementine, Diana, Michael, Carol, Philomena, and Ruth.

Councillor Nkoitoi lived a remarkable life marked by integrity, wisdom, dedicated service, and an unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and the Maasai Mara community.As Councillor for Koiyaki Ward from 1997 to 2002, he championed key development initiatives, including the allocation of land forAitong’s first health facility and support for the construction of the Aitong Police Post, thereby expanding access to healthcare and security services. He also served as Chairman of the Maasai Mara Group Ranches Conservation Association, Chairman of the Koiyaki Campsite Owners Association, and Chairman of the Koiyaki Landowners Conservation Association, where he advocated for the equitable sharing of tourism revenues among landowners.

As a firm believer in education, he served as Chairman of Aitong Primary School, was a founding Board Member of Maasai Mara Secondary School, facilitated the employment of PTA teachers, and later served on the Narok County Bursary Board. As one of the pioneering traders in Aitong, he played a leading role in establishing and growing Aitong Market, contributing significantly to local economic development.

Until his demise, he served as a Member of the Narok West Land Control Board. He leaves a legacy of leadership. vision, and selfless community service.

Beloved son of the late Maripet Ole Nkoitoi and the late Nasuju ene Nkoitoi Brother of the late Marine Ole Nkoitoi, Saitaga Nkoitoi, Ntoonto Nkoitoi, Naiduya Kamete, and the late Tipaya ene Nkoitoi.

He was the beloved son of the late Kipruto and Teriki Tinderet. He was a beloved brother and uncle of the larger Tinderet family, whose lives he touched through his kindness, wisdom, guidance, and unwavering support.

He shared his life’s journey with Jane Cheruiyot and Mariam Keitany. He was a loving and devoted father of Maureen, Walter, Rose, Roxanne, Imani, Faraj, Shamim, and Abdul, and a cherished father-in-law of Anthony lrungu.

He was a proud and affectionate grandfather of Adrian, Kimberly, Melisa, Tendai, Tafari, Ziyah, and Mali, all of whom will forever treasure his love, counsel, and enduring legacy.

The burial service will be conducted at Ematsuli comprehensive school grounds on 13th June 2026 at 9.00 am. The interment will be on the same day in his Ebuchika home next to ERAM academy at 3pm.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lorna Cecilia Buddery, which occurred on Wednesday, 3rd June 2026.

The late Lorna Cecilia was the beloved mother of Nicholas Kwendo Khasakhala and Moses Jude.

She was a cherished sister of the late John Buddery, the late George Buddery, the late Elizabeth Mairo, the late Lillian Fransson (Sweden), the late Monica Allnutt (U.K), and the late Anne Marie Buddery. She is survived by her sisters Dianne Huggins, Lynette Buddery, Susan Rashid, and Mary Coleman.

It is with deep regret and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Frida Chemutai Mibei, a valued member of Family Bank Limited, Litein Branch that occurred on Sunday, 31st May 2026.

Frida was a devoted and loving mother of Lyanna Okaka and the beloved daughter of Mr. Theophilus Mibei, former Director for KTDA Litein—Chelal, and the late Linner Cheres Mibei. She was a sister of Victor Rono, Indiana Chebet, Conway Rono, and Tony Rono. She was also the stepdaughter of Maureen Chepngeno Mibei and stepsister of Abel Kiprop.

Funeral arrangements meetings are being held daily at the family home in Chemosot Village.

A fundraising meeting in support of the funeral and the hospital bills will be held today Tuesday, 9th June 2026 at Chemosot Village.
