He will be remembered for his warm spirit, wisdom, generosity, and commitment to family and community.

Mr. Kirui is survived by his loving family, Rebecca Ndinda, Leah Wanjiku, Daniel Kirui, Angela Wanjiku and Anthony Kiarie Njoroge and 10 Grandchildren who cherished him deeply.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely passing of Josef Otieno Auma Oduwo that occurred peacefully during sieep in Melbourne, Austraiia. on 27th May 2026 where he lived and worked for two decades. Josef Otieno was from East Seme, Kaila, Orando School in Seme Sub-county, but his family’ settled in nearby Kajulu at Koker.

He was the son of Eng George Oduwo Nvangrasi, formerly of University of Nairobi, Faculty of Engineering and Dr Rispah Oduwo, OGW, formerly Chief Scientist at the National Council for Science & Technology. He was brother of Elizabeth (Lisa) Akoth Oduwo of London UK, Dr Paul Nyangasi Oduwo and Dr Noah Akata Oduwo.

He was the devoted father of Ah-Ream Auma Choi Oduwo shared lovingly with Sunlae Choi of Melboume, Australia.

Uncle to Mandia Nteri Nyangasi, Aaliyah Apiyo Akala, Aasmin Adongo Akala. Souflane Ratego Akala.

He was brother-in-law of Naila Fauzia lsma.

He was also a nephew of the late George Amolo of Telcom, the late Anna Otiende of Amani Counseling Center, Grace Bicha Oloo of Botswana, Mwalimu Joan Najoli of Chavakali and Pauline Tolo of KIRDI. Born to the late Mzee Martin Yamo and the late Mama Beatrice Keta. A distinguished public servant and accomplished finance professional and served in different ministries of the Government of Kenya. Alongside his governmental duties, he was a committed leader in the cooperative movement and served as Supervisory Director at Harambee Sacco, championing accountability, transparency, and member-focused leadership. His professionalism, leadership, and commitment earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike.

He was a loving husband of Susan Akinyi Owuor, Beatrice Achieng’ and Sharon Awuor Owuor and a devoted father of Bernard, Millicent, Beryl, Ivy, Adrian, Stacy, Nael Shantel, Eugene, Lainey Keta, Lesley, Nyssa, and Ezekiel. He was a proud grandfather of Liz, Esther, Valen, and Mark.

Joseph was son-in-law of the late Simon Omondi and Regina Omondi of Siranga, Ugenya, and the late Peter Nyamori and Pamela Nyamori of Kolwa, Kano East.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Jane Wahu Mbugua. Jane transitioned peacefully on 10th June 2026 at the KU Referral Hospital.

She was born on 28th April 1970 as the seventh child of the late Johnson Mbugua Mugo and the late Mary Wanjiru Mbugua. Jane was a cherished sister of David Kiarie, Margaret Waithira, Stephen Muchai, the late Isaac Nguru, Lucy Njoki, David Njihia, Paul Kiania, and a stepsister to many.

She was the loving wife of Robert Gitahi Mbugua; beloved mother of Peter Mutahi, Moses Mbugua, Evelyn Mutundu, Isaac Ngamau, and Tabitha Wanjiru; and a loving grandmother of Alora Wahu.

The funeral service will be held at PCEA Riara Ridge on Wednesday, 17th June 2026 at 10.00 am.

Robert was the cherished son of the late Hon. Peter Oloo Aringo and Rosemary Akinyi Oluoch; Loving brother of Elizabeth Achieng, Angela Anyango, Faith Aringo and Peter David Aringo; a dear friend, whose kindness, warmth, and presence touched many lives. It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that the family of the late Peter Ogangah Ogutu announce the passing of Mama Grace Atieno Ogangah on the 2nd of June 2026 after a short illness.

Mama Grace was born in Kamuma Village of Oyugis Homabay County to the late John Oyoko Omwanda and ‘the Late Yunes Oyoko, step daughter to Jennifer Oyoko and Beldina Oyoko. She was the loving wife to the late Peter Ogangah Ogutu of Kasgunga, Kamagambo-sare, Rongo, Migori County. Grace was a daughter in law to Mzee John Ogutu Ogangah, and Mama Roselida Wanam Ogutu. Her step mothers were the late Mama Miriam Munga and the late Mama Mercela Mboya Ogutu.

She was the first daughter in a family of fourteen and was raised alongside her siblings: Prof. Odhiambo Oyoko, the late Oscar Oyoko, Prisca Akeyo, Rachel Akoth, James Otieno, Stephen Nyamisi, Millicent Oyoko, the late Jackline Adhiambo, the late Nyacharo, the late Onyango, Immaculate Oyoko, Molly Oyoko and Allan Oyoko. Her cousins include Ted Olang, Damar, Steve Omollo, Solomon, Rebecca, Jany, Elsa, Awino, Ezra, Javan, Duncan, and the late Churchill amongst others.

Councillor Nkoitoi lived a remarkable life marked by integrity, wisdom, dedicated service, and an unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and the Maasai Mara community.As Councillor for Koiyaki Ward from 1997 to 2002, he championed key development initiatives, including the allocation of land forAitong’s first health facility and support for the construction of the Aitong Police Post, thereby expanding access to healthcare and security services. He also served as Chairman of the Maasai Mara Group Ranches Conservation Association, Chairman of the Koiyaki Campsite Owners Association, and Chairman of the Koiyaki Landowners Conservation Association, where he advocated for the equitable sharing of tourism revenues among landowners.

As a firm believer in education, he served as Chairman of Aitong Primary School, was a founding Board Member of Maasai Mara Secondary School, facilitated the employment of PTA teachers, and later served on the Narok County Bursary Board. As one of the pioneering traders in Aitong, he played a leading role in establishing and growing Aitong Market, contributing significantly to local economic development.

Until his demise, he served as a Member of the Narok West Land Control Board. He leaves a legacy of leadership. vision, and selfless community service.
