passing of Sr. M. Christiana Nguru, (Sr. Assumpta), CPS, which occurred on Friday, 3rd July 2026, at Precious Blood Convent, Riruta.

Beloved daughter of the at Albert Waema Ngumbi and Mrs Rornana Mutave. She was the dear sister to Leonida Mutindi, Patricia Mutete, and the late Matilda Syokau.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Horne on Wednesday, 8th Jury 2026, for the Funeral Mass at Precious Blood Sisters Convent, Riruta, at 10:00 a.m. Interment thereafter at Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood Cemetery in

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Dedan Mburu Muiruri, son of the late Muiruri Tatua and late Cecilia Gathoni of kianda kia mbui

He was a beloved brother of the late Njoki, late Wanjiku, Kanyi, and the late Ngigi.

A loving husband of Ann Njeri Mburu. A loving father of Muiruri Ndekei and Ngigi. An affectionate father-in law of Njeri,Waithera and Wairimu. A cherished grandfather of Njeri Ndekei, Tatua Muiruri, Mburu Ngigi, Mutema Muiruri, Mburu Ndekei, Njeri Ngigi, and Wanjiru Ngigi.

Family and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Sabasaba.

The cortege will leave Montezuma, Kabati, on Wednesday, 8th July 2026. A funeral service will be held at PCEA Gakarati Church, after which he will be laid to rest at his residence within the same locality.

She was daughter of the late Mzee Krisanto Ochoi and Maina Maria Kemunvo of Metembe Village, Keregori Sub-Location, Kenyanya Location, Kisii County, Sengera Parish Kisii Diocese.

Sister of Paulo Ochoi, Mike Ochoi, Cosmas Ochoi, Stephen Ochoi, William Ochoi, Catherine Mriraa andTeresa Kerubo.

Niece of Milka, Concepta, Ann and Silvanus.

Cousin of Susan,Teresa among others. Aunt Janet, Lornah, Clementia among others.

The cortege leaves Mukumu Mortuary on n 7th July 2026 to SMK,Mukumu Chapel at 130pm for  Requiem Mass at St. Augustine SMK Main Chapel at 4:00 PM, thereafter  Vigil Masses at the same SMK Chapel.

The burial will be held on 8th July 2026at SMK Mukumu cemetery starting with Mass at 10.00am.

It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the resting of our beloved Dr Mbaari Kinya, PhD, CEO and Founder of WEET Enterprises Ltd., on Sunday, 28 June 2026.

Dr. Kinya was a loving mother of Wambui Kinya and Mungai Kinya and a doting grandmother of Mbatia Mwangi.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Dr. Arthur Joseph Kinya and the late Virginia Wambui Kinya of Ngemwa village, Ikinu, Githunguri Sub-County, Kiambu County. She was a dear sister of Wangari Clelland (Canada) and Lawrence Clelland, as well as the late Kahugu Kinya, the late Muchai Kinya, and the late Karebe Kinya.

She was a beloved aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Dr. Kinya was a pioneer in renewable energy, a champion for the sustainable empowerment of women, an educator, and a dedicated mentor.

A service of thanksgiving and celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, 8 July 2026 at Rosedale Gardens, Kilimani (off Dennis Pritt Road, Nairobi) starting at 2:00 p.m.

Devoted husband of the late Grace Waithera Karii and Miriam Muthoni Karii Loving father of Paul Mwangi (Taxi, Naivasha), Rebecca Wanjiru (Narok), Mary Wanjiku (Mob), Daniel Mburu (Businessman, Kericho), Mark Muiru Timsales, Elhurgon), Musa Mbui (Narok), Jacob Muiruri (Department of Immigration, Nairobi), Elijah Maina (Narok), Esther Wanjiru, Dorcas Wanjiru, and Joyce Wanjiru (Destiny Premier Academy, Naivasha).

Family and friends are meeting daily from 7.00 pm at his home – AK ISRAEL Church Karati (Upper Kinamba), Naivasha for burial preparations.

The funeral service and burial will be held on Wednesday, 8th July 2026, at AXISRAEL Church, Karati (Upper Kinamba), Naivasha.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Prof. Bernard Chege Waruingi, who peacefully departed on 30th June 2026.

He was the beloved husband of the late Rosebell Waithira Chege and a devoted father to Toussaint Kinyanjui (Nash), Sandra Nyokabi and Moses Waweru.

Prof. Waruingi was the cherished son of the late Paul Kinyanjui Waruingi and Grace Nyokabi Kinyanjui.

He was a beloved brother of the late Charles Waruingi, Tom Waruingi, Margery Kahuya, Leah, Lesinko, Lanet, Sima, Oscar, the late Nancy Waruingi, the late Manasseh Linde. Kepher Tande, the late Sironet Tande, Zipporah Kaiser and Nalamae Keloi.

He was a treasured uncle, grandfather, mentor, colleague and friend to many.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate and honour Prof Waruingi’s remarkable life as follows:
