Rev. James Hesbon Kang’ethe Mwangi

 

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the transition to Glory of Rev. James Hesbon Kang’ethe Mwangi popularly known as Father James or JH, in Brockton, Massachusetts on Friday 9th December after a short illness.

Beloved husband of Victoria Wanjiku Mwangi, Loving Father of James Kariuki, Paul Gichuru, Walter Ndung’u, Anne Mwangi, Rachael Nyawira and Daniel Kamau. Grand father of Anne Wanjiru, Emmanuel Mwangi, Jeff Kibara, Tabitha Njambi, Naomi Mumbi, Mark Mwangi, Joe Wanjugi, Samson Ndegwa, Nathan Mwangi and Christian Mwangi. Brother of Mwaura and Wangechi. Uncle of Lilly, Margaret, Eva and Gladys.

A memorial Service will be held on Sunday 18th December at Episcopal Anglican Church Brockton, Massachusetts, and the Funeral to take place at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton, Massachusetts on 20th December 2016.

To celebrate his life in Kenya a second memorial Service will be held at St. Stephen’s Jogoo Road on 20th December 2016 from 10am.

Paulina Wamuhu Mbugua

It is with great sorrow, humility and thanksgiving to God that we announce the promotion to glory of our great mother Mrs. Paulina Wamuhu Mbugua of Thiong’o Road Kangemi after a long illness bravely borne.

Wife of the late Mbugua Githongo of Mutomo Gatundu. Daughter of the late Kihato Kagombe and Wambui Kihato of Karia Githunguri.

Mother of Margaret Njeri Mubuu (J.K.U.A.T) and Alex Kabuku Mubuu, the late Gabriel Ndichu Mbugua and Veronica Wambui Waweru (VW) (VSLAW Advocates formerly Mbugua V.W. & Co Advocates) and Mike Kamau.

Grandmother of Catherine Wanjiru Kabuku, Daniel Mubuu Kabuku(Giro Bank) and Penina Muthoni Mubuu, Paulina Wamuhu Kabuku (J.K.U.A.T) , Stephen Mbugua Kabuku (Base resources Australia) and Catherine Wambui Mbugua, Paulina Wamuhu Kamau, Malachi Munai Kamau, Cait Thithi Kamau and Nelson Munai Kamau. She has left behind II great grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Mutomo Gatundu, Runda Evergreen and at her residence Kangemi Thiong’o Road from 5p.m.

There will be a Service at Runda Evergreen on Sunday the 18/12/2016 from 2pm.

The cortege leaves Umash funeral home on 20/12/2016 at 9am for church service at P.C.E.A Lang’ata and thereafter for burial at Lang’ata cemetery.

Joseph Ngoroi Chomba

15th August 1967 – 9th December 2016

We regret to announce the passing on of Joseph Ngoroi Chomba which occurred in the early hours of Friday 9th December 2016 following a short illness.

 

Beloved husband of Janet and devoted father of Chomba.

 

Son of the late Mr Charles Chomba Ngoroi and Mrs Grace Muringo Chomba.

Brother of Alice, Anne and Beth, brother-in-law of Alwin, William, Andrew, Joseph, Joyce, Jonah, James and Johnnie. Son in law of Geoffrey and Edith Thiong’o Waweru.

 

Uncle of Yannick, Tara, Ines, Violet, Michael, Melvin, Alexander, Edith, Mercy, Geoff, Wacera and Dorcas.

 

Nephew of the late James Muchiri Ngoroi, the late Peter Mukui Ngoroi, the late Dr David Munyi Mugo, the late Lydia Wanjiru, the late Phylis Njoki, Charity Muthoni, Jimmy, Phoebe Ngoroi, Rosalin Ngoroi, Millicent Wangu and the late Cecily Wandia Kigo.

 

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Wednesday 21st December 2016 at 7am and the funeral service will take place on the same day at 11am at Kabare Primary School grounds, near Kabare Shopping Centre, Kirinyaga.

 

The burial will follow thereafter at his family farm opposite the school grounds.

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptances of Allah’s will that we announce the passing on of Rai Mehindi Mohamed Ebrahim Dahya on December 16th 2016 in Kisumu, Kenya.

Son of the late Ebrahim Dahya, Beloved Husband of Shirin Mehindi Dahya Loving Father to AlyKhan, Khalid and Natasha.

 

The Funeral Service will take place on Sunday 18th of December 2016 At the Aga Khan Jamathkhana Kisumu at 3pm there after the cortege will leave for the burial at the Ismailia Cemetery at 4pm.

JT you were a selfless man, always looking out for other people and this verse speaks directly about your character.

 

You were a compassionate person to your family and the community at large, always willing to lend a helping hand, a crying shoulder or a listening ear.

 

You gave altruistically upholding the words of Jesus Christ. This year we celebrate friendship and we celebrate You.

 

JT you are deeply loved and missed by your wife Mary Waitherero Tharuma and children Eliena-Rose Njambi Tharuma, Peter-Aaron Munga Tharuma and Elisha-Joyce Muthoni Tharuma; the entire Munga Family and Claudio Family.

Father of Virginia Wanjiku of Gakuyo Real Estate, Geoffrey Karanja (USA), Lucy Njuhi, and Sharon Waithira of Samnel Academy. Son of Geoffrey Karanja (Maina Mbiro) and Virginia Wanjiku Karanja. Son-in-IawV of the late Francis Gachomba (Mbiri) and the late Lucy Njuhi Gachomba. Brother of Robert Chege, Moses Karori (KK), Joseph Njoroge, David Njenga, Ruth VVaithira, Jackson Ngotho, and Leonard Muchendu. Brother-in-law of Rachael Wanjiku, Anne Mumbi, Ruth Njoki, Esther Wambui, IGeoffrey Munyua (Siambo),Virginia Watiri, Eunice Gachoka and Moses Karori.

 

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Gathiga Village for burial arrangements. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Thursday 8th December 2016 at 9am for burial at Gathiga Village. Funeral service will commence at 11am.

He was the beloved son of Ms Ann Muthoni Mwangi of Lenana School. Loving brother of Hellen Wangui Muthoni of State Law Office. Granson of Polycarp Mwangi Kaburi and Helina Nyandia Mwangi of Karuthi village, Othaya. Nephew of Mr and Mrs Ngatia, Mr and Mrs Maina (Far East Motors Limited), Gichingo, Mr and Mrs Mathenge (Kagere), Mr and Mrs Mwaura (Kamakwa), Mr and Mrs Muraguri (Mombasa), kanji, Gichuki and Ann.

 

Loving Cousin to Mwangi, Nyawira, Muriuki, Dennis, Maina, Karen, Mukami, NJoki, Kariuki, Fidelis, Felix, Pdyte elry Amos, Manasseh and Dennis. Great friend to many.

 

Family and friends are meeting at Hot Dishes Restaurant next to City Hall, Nairobi, from 6pm on Thursday 15/ 12/2016.

 

The Cortege will leave Kenyatta University Mortuary at 6am and proceed to his grandfather’s farm at Karuthi village, Othaya where the funeral service will be held on Saturday 17th December 2016 from 11.00 am.

Daughter of the late Elasto Wairia and Gladys Mweru. Loving and devoted husband of David Waititu (Girigaca). Mother of Elasto Wairia (Kates Apartments), Gladys Wambui, Lydiah Wanjiku and Cyrus Kinyua (Cushman Wakefield Excellerate). Sister of Margaret Wangeci Muhinyia, the late Mary Mbuki, Grace Wairimu (Ministry of Lands —Nyeri), Stephen Kariuki (Kates Apartments) Gachoki Wairia (2NK Sacco), Wageni Wairia (Fairdeal Hardware — Gikomba).

 

Friends and relatives are meeting for Prayers and Funeral arrangements at Marble Ark Hotel (Next to Fire station, Tom Mboya Street, Nairobi) from 6.00pm and also at her home Witima village, Othaya. 

 

The cortege leaves Mukurweini sub-district Hospital on 17/12/2016 at 9am for church service at AIPCA Witima church and thereafter burial at her residence Kiyu village Witima.
