It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we regret to announce the passing on of our beloved Mama Annah Nelima Lusweti of Sinoko village, Ndivisi location, Bungoma County.

 

Wife of the late Mwalimu Muyila Lusweti. Beloved Mother of Violet, Beatrice, Mary of Mwiruti Girls’s School, Isaiah of KAA – JKIA Nairobi, Daniel of Spinners, Benjamin, Salome of One Acre Fund, Jairus o f Nairobi West Hospital.

 

Sister-in-law of Patrick, Herbert and Mwalimu Peter Kabilile. Mother in law of Zipporah Kerubo of Medina Health Care Nairobi, Emily and Phanice.

Grandmother of Viona Masoni of Kenya School of Law, Dennis Lusweti of USIU among others.

 

The cortege leaves Chiromo Parlour today Thursday 15th December at 7am for her home at Sinoko.

There will be mass at 5pm on arrival at Makemo Catholic Church.

 

Burial service will be conducted on Saturday 17th December 2016, starting at 10am by the Catholic Church.

Mama Filgona Ngasi Ochola

1945 – 1st December 2016

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mama Filgona Ngasi Ochola which occurred on 1st December 2016.

 

She was the daughter of the late Mzee Jonathan Ogada Okore and the late Mama Persila Magara of Nyahera-Karombo.

Wife of Francis Ochola Kamusa of Kanyagwal, Kano – Kisumu County.

Co-wife to Mama Helen Ochola and Pamela Ochola.

 

Mother of the late Joshua Ochola, Dr Washington Ochola of USAID — Africa Lead II, Charles Ochola of St Mary’s School, Japan, Dr Samuel Ochola of Kenyatta University, Lucia Auma and the late William Ochola.

 

Mother in-law to Caroline, Maureen, Albina, Sheila and Doris. Loving grandmother of Filgona Tana (formerly of Egerton University). Persila Magara (Egerton University), Charlyne (Simon Fraser University, Canada). Tamara (University of Nairobi). Innocent (St Lawrence University NY, USA). Willard (Uganda Martyrs Senior Secondary School, Kampala), Anne (Rae Girls’ School), Francis (Onjiko Secondary School), Christine and Ouko.

 

Step-mother to Tom, Jael, Emily, the late Judith, Agnes, Caroline, Edwin. Susan and John.

 

Sister of the late William Ouko, Mama Susan Anyuka, Dorcas Omoro, Walter Rombo. Grace Owino and Gladys Wida. Sister in-law to the late Benter Osore, the late Magdalene Orieny, the late Monica Orieny, die late Josephine Akumu, the late Steven Nyandeje and Raymax Musa.

 

Her body leaves Star Mortuary Kisumu on Friday 16th December at 11am for a requiem mass at St Lewnorah Catholic Ngere Kagoro.

 

Burial will take place on Saturday 17th December 2016 starting at 9am at the family home in Wang’aya County (along the Awasi-Kisumu highway).

We, the family of the late Mrs. Margaret Mwangola, wish to express our sincere gratitude to the Almighty God for granting us strength, peace, comfort and favour throughout the period of mourning, for our beloved Mother and shining STAR whose light will never fade.

 

We extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all who stood by us during her illness, in death, and the final farewell. We shall forever cherish your generosity in all ways during this very difficult time.

 

Special acknowledgment and gratitude goes to the President of the Republic of Kenya H.E Hon Uhuru Kenyatta and the Deputy President H.E Hon William Ruto.

You truly loved Mama so much.

 

The support and presence of the Office of the Governor, Taita Taveta County; MPs Hon Jones Mlolwa, MP Vou; Hon Thomas Mwadeghu, MP Wundanyi, Hon Dr Naomi Shaban, MP Taveta, Senator Hon Dan Mwazo and the Western Regional Coordinator, Mr Samuel Kilele, was a very assuring gesture.

 

We remain humbled by the fellowship of Bishop Liverson Mng’oda and Retired Bishop Samson Mwaluda of ACK Taita Taveta Diocese and all Clergy who supported us, including Rev Githaiga, Rev Jackline Ngala and Rev Wanjau of St. Barnabas Church, Lang’ata. We are touched by the Choir from St. Barnabas who visited us daily in Lang’ata and Voi, and lifted us spiritually with their songs. We are indeed blessed to be your congregation.

 

We are extremely grateful to the Nairobi and Voi Funeral Committees led by Mr Saul Mwangola for their total dedication and to all the Relatives, In-Laws and Friends, including the extended Mwashimba, Mwangola, Owiti, Mwabili, Abdi-Weis and Kiplagat Families, who stopped by to condole with us, encouraged us and reached out through texy messages and other communication channels.

 

Special thanks to the CEO, Management, Doctors and Medical Staff of Nairobi Hospital for their compassion towards our mother.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Victor Wayodi on Saturday 10th December 2016 after a short illness bravely borne. Formerly of Maseno School, JKUAT, CIC Insurance and Mwamba RFC.

 

Son of Luiza Wayodi of Engineering Supplies Limited. Step brother of the late Hellen Adede, loving grandson of the late Mr. & Mrs Wayodi ,darling nephew and cousin of many.

 

There will be a fund raising towards funeral arrangements on Friday 16th December 2016 at the Nairobi Railway Club from 4pm.

 

Memorial service will be held on Thursday 22nd December at St. Paul’s Catholic Church University Way at 2pm.

 

Burial will take place on Saturday 24th December in Bondo.

Burial will be Saturday the 17th December 2016.
