Son of the late Japheth Embodoka Kavai and the late Joan Vihenda Kavai. Husband of Mrs. Rachael Nthenya – Luvita. Father of Jemima Vihenda, Kellen Nduko and baby Alphaeus Luvita (Jnr). Brother of Evans Embodoka (USA), Wilson Adika (Wivex Autospares), David Kadagi, Carolyne Kagai, Mildred Kagai (MMUST), Irene Ikubano (The National Treasury, Bungoma County), Simon Mugara and Joseph Ongere. Son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Mutungi Mbeki. Brother-in-law of Virginia, Phylis, Pauline, Daniel, Leonard, Tryxie, the late Benard, Rhodah, Susan, Shadrack, Irene, the late Kitavi and Meshack. Nephew of Rispah, Inez, Robai, the late Catherine, Margaret, Hellen, Ibrahim, Nicodemus, Manoah, the late Michael and Francis. Uncle of Sharon, Franklyne, Joan, Brian, Elvis, Angela, Adrian, Valarie, Victoria, Felix, Branson, Shanice and Andy. Cousin of many.

There will be a memorial service at KU Funeral Home Chapel on 4th January 2017 from 3pm — 4pm. Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence Thika, Makongeni Estate for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home (KU) on 5th January 2017 via JKIA.

Burial will take place on Saturday 7th January 2017 at Chanzuvu Village, Mbihi Sub-location Vihiga County.

The cortege left St Elizabeth Mukumu mission hospital mortuary on Monday 2/01/2017 at 4pm for vigil masses at the Sisters of Mary Chapel-Mukumu.

The requiem mass will be held on Tuesday 3/01/ 17 at the Sacred Heart Mukumu Catholic church at 10am followed by the burial rite at the sisters of Mary Cemetery – Mukumu.

The funeral mass will be held on Thursday 5th January 2017 at the Italian Memorial Church, Mathari, Nyeri County presided over by Bishop Kihara and the burial thereafter.

With deep sadness the family announces the death of Bob Brenneisen who passed away on Christmas Day at Mombasa Hospital. Roebi will be greatly missed by Ursula, his loving wife of 59 years, Dad to his children Nicky & Alex and Babu to his grandchildren Tobias & Nina and son-in-law Andreas.

We take this opportunity to convey our deepest gratitude to all friends & staff for supporting us in his last days and special thanks go to Doctors and staff of Mombasa Hospital for taking such good care of him.

A family cremation was held on 30th December and will be followed by a “kwaheri” to friends at home at a later date.
