It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely passing on of Pastor Edwin Luvita Kavai (KJFM Thika, Gethesmane Prayer Temple Enkasiti Fellowship) which occurred on Saturday 24th December 2016 through an accident at Enkasiti Roses Dam.

Son of the late Japheth Embodoka Kavai and the late Joan Vihenda Kavai. Husband of Mrs. Rachael Nthenya – Luvita. Father of Jemima Vihenda, Kellen Nduko and baby Alphaeus Luvita (Jnr). Brother of Evans Embodoka (USA), Wilson Adika (Wivex Autospares), David Kadagi, Carolyne Kagai, Mildred Kagai (MMUST), Irene Ikubano (The National Treasury, Bungoma County), Simon Mugara and Joseph Ongere. Son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Mutungi Mbeki. Brother-in-law of Virginia, Phylis, Pauline, Daniel, Leonard, Tryxie, the late Benard, Rhodah, Susan, Shadrack, Irene, the late Kitavi and Meshack. Nephew of Rispah, Inez, Robai, the late Catherine, Margaret, Hellen, Ibrahim, Nicodemus, Manoah, the late Michael and Francis. Uncle of Sharon, Franklyne, Joan, Brian, Elvis, Angela, Adrian, Valarie, Victoria, Felix, Branson, Shanice and Andy. Cousin of many.

There will be a memorial service at KU Funeral Home Chapel on 4th January 2017 from 3pm — 4pm. Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence Thika, Makongeni Estate for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home (KU) on 5th January 2017 via JKIA.

Burial will take place on Saturday 7th January 2017 at Chanzuvu Village, Mbihi Sub-location Vihiga County.

Jemimah Wanjiru Gitau

We are humbled to announce the passing on of Jemimah Wanjiru Gitau of Gatharuru Village, Githunguchi sub location, Gatundu South.

Wife of the late George Gitau Wairegi, co-wife of Margaret Njoki. Mother of Joseph M Gitau (Head Teacher Salama Primary), Patrick Nduati (Valentine Flowers), Dominic Muchiri (Businessman) and Daniel Kamau (Chef). Mother in law, stepmother and grandmother of many.

Sister of Elizabeth Wanjiku and Rita Njeri Kuria.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her home daily from 4pm and also in Nairobi, The Other Place in Umoja daily from 6pm.

The cortege leaves KU Mortuary on Thursday 5th January 2017 at 8am.

Funeral service will be held the same day at Rev Ngumba Memorial Church (Gatharuru) from 11am. Thereafter burial takes place at her home near the Church.

Father in law of Rodha Amollo. Grandfather of Delus Mbevi.

Brother of Waema, Teresia, Agnes, Mary, Mary, Kanini, the late Nthambi, Monicah, Mutuku, Mumbua and Kyumwa.

Uncle of Kioko, Muia, Musembi, Mbithe, Katumbi, Mwongeli, Kyalo, Mwende, Mutinda, Katunge, Kamanthe, Muema among others.

Family and friends are meeting at his residence, Nyayo Estate Embakasi, Redeemed Gospel Church Komarock and Garden Square in Nairobi.

There will be a fundraiser at his residence in Nyayo Estate Embakasi on 4th January 2017 from 6pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home, Machakos, on 6th January 2017 for his final resting place at his home, Makomani, Mtito Andei Division, Makueni County.

Daughter of George Nyamao (KCB Head Office) and Eunice Kamau (KPLC Nairobi).

Sister of Edwin Nyamao (UoN) and Lynette Nyamao (Mary Hill Girls).

Granddaughter of Francis and Catherine Nyamao of BogichonchoVillage and the late Mr Stephen Kamau and Mrs Joyce Kamau of Murang’a. Niece of Margaret and Gilbert Indati, Lt Col Edward and Roselyn Nyamao, Mark and Olpha Nyamao, Julius Nyamao, Justin and Christine Nyabwari, John Mwaniki and Faith Kamau among others.

Cousin of Geoffrey, Nickson, Collins, Steve, Michelle, Tevin, Nyapara, Teddy, Jeff, Victoria, Tiffany, Daniel, Lena, Celestine, Mary, Maureen, Tristan and Princeton.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home in Greenfields Estate, Donholm, Nairobi and at Bogichoncho Village.

Meetings are also being held daily at Electricity House (Demonstration Centre) starting from 5.30pm.

The main fundraising will be on Thursday 5th January 2017 at the same venue. There shall be a requiem mass at Donholm Catholic Church on 5th January 2016 at 2pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday 6th January at 8am for funeral service and burial on Saturday 7th January 2017 at their ancestral home at Bogichoncho village, Kisii County.

Daughter of the late Nicholas Opio and Mama Cecilia Nasike of Nakhasiko village Bukhulungu sub-location, Samia Location, Busia County, and Nangina Parish in Bungoma Diocese.

Sister of Doris and Alice, aunty of Paskal, Peter, Francis, Lawrence, Stephen, Robert, Joseph, Christine, Betty, Leonida, Sr Gratia Nekesa, Wilimina, Gertrude and Clementina.

The cortege left St Elizabeth Mukumu mission hospital mortuary on Monday 2/01/2017 at 4pm for vigil masses at the Sisters of Mary Chapel-Mukumu.

The requiem mass will be held on Tuesday 3/01/ 17 at the Sacred Heart Mukumu Catholic church at 10am followed by the burial rite at the sisters of Mary Cemetery – Mukumu.

Eternal rest grant unto her O’Lord and let perpetual light shine

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Brother Raymond of Consolata Missionaries Regional Kenya/Uganda.

Son of Joseph Patrick Ayieko and Mary Magdalene Wambui Nguri. Brother of Lawrence Nguri, the late Victor Nanguku and George Kamau. Brother in law of Stella Nguri, Veronica, Victor and Agnes Kamau.

There will be a requiem mass at Consolata Shrine, Westlands on Wednesday 4th January 2017 at 3pm.

The funeral mass will be held on Thursday 5th January 2017 at the Italian Memorial Church, Mathari, Nyeri County presided over by Bishop Kihara and the burial thereafter.

Eternal rest grant unto Bro Raymond Oh Lord and let perpetual shine upon him.

Robert Brenneisen M.B.S.

02.07.1927 — 25.12.2016

With deep sadness the family announces the death of Bob Brenneisen who passed away on Christmas Day at Mombasa Hospital. Roebi will be greatly missed by Ursula, his loving wife of 59 years, Dad to his children Nicky & Alex and Babu to his grandchildren Tobias & Nina and son-in-law Andreas.

We take this opportunity to convey our deepest gratitude to all friends & staff for supporting us in his last days and special thanks go to Doctors and staff of Mombasa Hospital for taking such good care of him.

A family cremation was held on 30th December and will be followed by a “kwaheri” to friends at home at a later date.

The cortege will leave Moi Referral Hospital Mortuary (Eldoret) on 4th January 2017 at 10am to his home at Mbagara sub location, Spande ViIIage Lugari, where the burial service will start at 10am on 6th January 2017.
