The cortege leaves the War Memorial Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 21st January 2017 at 6am for a funeral service and burial at his home in Nzeeni Village, Nzaui Sub County, Makueni County.

Son of late Kibuga Gikandi and Miriam Wairimu Kibuga. Brother of Ngonyo Karoki, Erastus Kibororo, Job Kimotho and Ephraim Ngure. Husband of Leah Muthoni Miano. Father of Grace Wairimu Gitonga, James Kibuga Miano, John Murimi Miano, Irene Wamaitha Waweru, Esther Wanjiru Njagi, Margaret Wangechi Miano (deceased), Washington Wahome Miano, Stanley Kigotho Miano and job Kimotho Miano. Father-in-law, grand and great grand father of many.

Funeral arrangements and prayers are ongoing at Nairobi (PCEA St Andrews Church) and his Kiaruhiu home. Family, relatives and friends will meet on Friday 20 January to celebrate his life at Kenyatta University Funeral Home Chapel at 8am.

Magdalene Wambui Njoroge, 83, wife of the late Joseph Gichinga Njoroge, passed away peacefully surrounded by members of her family on Monday, January 16th 2017 after several years of illness. She was the mother of the late Agatha and John, mother-in-law of the late J B Maina and late Paul Nginya Kimani Titi; sister of the late Brigitta Nyanjau Gateri and the late Theresia Njoki Kimani; of brother Ambrose Kiiru; sister-in-law of the late Pascal Kimani Titi.
