Dorine Agola Odhiambo

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved mum Dorine Agola Odhiambo (Nyargi Jim) which occurred in Nairobi on 13th January 2017 after a long illness bravely borne.

Loving wife of Joash Odhiambo Odera (Rtd Subukia OCS) and co-wife to Siporah Odhiambo.

Daughter of the late Simeon Nyadwa Abuom and the late Leanora Nyadwa of Gem Yala. Daughter in law to the late Gideon Odera Rajuai and the late Selina Olawo of Gem Akala, Siaya County. Sister to the late Michael, the late Charles, the late Bernard, the late Margaret and Tobias Wanga.

Mother of Phelix Nyadwa Odhiambo (GMEA) & Peninah Nyadwa (Kenafric), Erick Young (Supa Loaf) & Eunice Young, Millicent Awuor (Mygotech) & George Ogonya, Alphonce Odera (Tim Tasha) & Beatrice Odera, Norah Auma (St. Paul’s University) and Clinton Odhiambo (Taita Taveta University). Stepmom to Henry, Benson, Caroline, Emily, Winnie, Hezron and Miriam. Grandma of Stephany, Daniela, Wayne, Doreen, Javan, Dervian, Wayden amongst others and Aunty to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home in Malele village, Siaya County and at 4pm daily in Greenspan Estate House No 39 for funeral arrangements.

A major fund raising will be held on Tuesday 24th January 2017 at the Garden Square – Nairobi – from 5pm. Contributions can be channelled through M-PeSa. No 0704-800832.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Friday 27th January 2017 at 6am for a memorial service at Malele C.C.A. Church and overnight stay at the family home. The funeral service and burial will be held on Saturday 28th January 2017 at Malele village, Kanyadet sub location, S.W. Gem, Siaya County.
