We, the family of the late Alice Warau Mbuchucha, praise the Almighty God for blessing Alice with the years she had on this earth.

We express our gratitude to the people who stood by us during this very difficult time. We appreciate and give thanks to every one for their encouragement through prayers, kindness, messages of sympathy, gifts and financial assistance.

We thank ACK St. Bartholomew’s Nyari Parish and Nairobi Chapel Waiyaki Way for their ministry, prayers and spiritual service.

We thank our relatives, friends, Nyari Ladies Association, Seven Seven Group, Nyari West Ladies, Nyari Sisters Prayer Group, Golfers from Vetlab Sports Club and Kiambu Club, KLGU and K.E.M.R.I. colleagues. We also thank the committee that worked tirelessly and with total dedication to give Alice a fitting memorial service and funeral.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden demise of Miss. Bindi Desai which occurred on the 29th of September, 2017. She was daughter to Mr. Bhupendra Desai and Chandan Desai. Sister to Shital Desai. Bindi was not only a dedicated daughter and a wonderful sister but also a caring and compassionate human being. She was known for her spiritual diligence and was an inspiration to many.

We sincerely thank Dr. S.P Amin, Dr. PS Patel, Dr. S.O Patel, Dr. Warfa, Dr. Nebayasi Twahirwa, Dr. John Weru, Dr. Suleiman Kweyu, Dr. Devi, Tony and Flora. We would also like to acknowledge the care given by the Aga Khan Hospital.

Bindi was a kind and beautiful soul that will be forever cherished and live on in our hearts. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

We the family of the Late Noah Okulo would like to thank all our friends and colleagues for their thoughtfulness, prayers and support upon the passing on of our father Noah Okulo.

We greatly appreciated your support during the preparations for Dad’s final journey as well as your participation at the funeral service and the burial service which took place on 23rd September 2017 at his home in Nyahera, Kisumu.

We thank the clergy and members of the African Inland Church, Opaiye Nyahera, All Saints Cathedral Nairobi, The Good Shepherd Africa Gospel Church, Ngong Road Nairobi and The International Christian Centre, Nairobi for their pastoral guidance and prayers.

We thank the staff, doctors and nurses at the Aga Khan Hospital Nairobi, the Aga Khan Hospital – Kisumu, Kisumu Specialist Hospital and Danid Health Care Services – Kisumu for the care and treatment that they gave our Dad during his illness.

May you all be blessed abundantly.

We the family of the late Bernard Kariuki Meru wish to convey our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who stood with us and celebrated his wonderful life.

We wish to express our profound appreciation for the prayers, messages of support, attendance and sympathy received through personal visits, calls and texts, and financial support. Our thanks to Fr Daniel of Consolata Shrine, Fr Evans, Fr George, Fr Oscar and Fr Joseph Nyongesa, Dr Kiarie and team, Nurse Esther, Angelica of Legacy Home Care Services, Nurse Kevin among others, the staff and management of Nation Media Group, the Foresight family, Charleston Travel fraternity, all golfers and especially the Muthaiga members, Britam Group, Old Mutual among others, and Margaret Indieya our Domestic Manager.

Our gratitude also goes to the organising committee members, Prestine Apartments team and the service providers at the Njeru home, particularly Christine Nkuene among many others for their unwavering commitment. It is 24 years and 1 year respectively since those fateful evening and morning crashes, yet it is  like yesterday. Thanks to friends and relatives whose support and counsel made your departures bearable. Special thanks to Nairobi and Kisumu committees under Otieno Aloys, Olago Odeny, Zuhura Ogada, Bob Madanji and Hon. Antony Oluoch MP, the Senate and Parliamentary Service Commission, Kanyakwar Welfare East Africa, Clergy led by St. Paul’s Catholic Parish, Sen. Moses Wetangula and Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga.

Remembered by Hon. Olago Aluoch, Mama Maureen, Mama Susan, Tony, Andy, Curtis, Sylvia, Winnie, Pam, Audrey and Mafia.

There will be a joint memorial service at the family’s garden of eternal rest at Hon. Olago Aluoch’s residence on St. Paul’s Hill, Kanyakwar, and Kisumu West on Sat 7th Oct. 2017 from 11.00 am.

Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and forever dear.

We acknowledge the clergy at St. Austin’s Parish Nairobi and St. Pius Catholic church in Endebess. We also appreciate the support from Kusters Engineering Netherlands and Braeburn Garden Estate staff and students. Special thanks also go to the funeral committee who worked hard to ensure that Stan had a befitting send-off.

We are truly grateful to everyone who played a role in making this difficult time bearable.
