We, the family of the departed Mrs. Juddie Ayal Omondi formerly of Huruma Girls, would like to sincerely express our gratitude for the incredible kindness and support accorded to us during her one day hospitalization, funeral arrangements and subsequent interment six months ago. We would especially like to thank the Pastoral team and members of A.I.C. church in Nairobi led by Rev. Dr. Stephen Mairuri, for the prayers, emotional and financial support.

We cannot forget the immense support from the following groups; Kano Community in Nairobi and diaspora, Madam Juddie’s past students and colleagues of Lela Mixed, Huruma Girls, St Albert’s Ulanda, Nyando Abidha Group and English Paper 1 National Examiners. Past colleagues from Kenyatta University class of 1990, Siriba Gold, Yala Old Boys Association, British Council family, Nyikwa Salome, Kenober Self Help Group, Kisumu Day Class of 1984, St. Aloys Gem Secondary School Community, Dago Kokore, Simba & Simba Advocates, our neighbours in Ahero, Boya and Syokimau and all our relatives and friends who called, visited sent messages of condolences to comfort us at an undoubtedly what has been a very difficult chapter in our lives.

We appreciate the various committees that were set up to support the funeral planning in Nairobi and at Onjiko Location, Boya led by Ken Ojuando and Tom Kore respectively. We thank the Ag. DG of Health Dr Patrick Amoth and Allan Sangoro for coordinating all the requisite protocols for mum’s safe passage to her final resting place.

Since we are not able to individually reach all those who came out to stand with us and demonstrate their love for Juddie, we hereby post this piece to express our appreciation of your support that enabled us give mum a befitting farewell. May God richly bless you.

In each tear shed, there is a memory with a story to tell.

We, the Wachira and the larger Kiama family are immensely grateful to all our relatives, friends, neighbors, church, colleagues and service providers for the overwhelming support following the demise of our beloved Dad. Your prayers, visits, messages of condolence, spiritual, financial and material support, presence and sympathy were and remain an immense source of comfort to us all. While our loss is difficult to bear, we draw strength and encouragement from the knowledge that Dad touched and impacted many lives far and wide.

We thank God for the ICC Church Nairobi West congregants and team of Ministers for being available to minister to Dad in Life and Death; the Lower Kabete Cell Group; the faithful and ministers of P.C.EA Church Pangani. We convey a special thanks to Dr. Hussein of the M.P Shah Hospital and the entire team for the excellent care accorded to him. Special thanks to the funeral organizing committee in Nairobi and Eldoret for taking the lead in ensuring that we gave Dad a befitting send-off.

We may not be able to thank everyone in person but the unconditional love and comfort which we continue to experience shall not be in vain. We owe a big debt of gratitude to all of you. Your presence brought us comfort and strength. You eased our burden by being there for us and we are forever grateful.

Last but not least, we will forever be grateful to almighty God, the giver of life and all that is good, for giving us our Dad and for the time we spent with him – our fondest memories of him will forever live in our hearts.

We would wish to express our deep and heart felt appreciation to all (friends and relatives) who stood with us in prayer, personal visits, messages of condolences and acts of generosity as we laid her to rest. We will be forever grateful to all the Bishops, overseers, pastors and indeed the entire clergy. You embraced us and never left us alone. Praise and worship team we appreciate you.

We would also wish to thank the medical staff of North Kinangop Catholic Mission hospital led by Dr Mutunga , Dr. Kioko and Dr. Emma Karari of Essential Cardial Services for your tireless effort to save our mother’s life.We also feel indebted to the funeral committee led by Mr. Gatehi.

Since we cannot thank all of you individually, we wish you to know that you did touch our lives very positively. You eased our mourning and made it bearable. Thank you so, very much. May the Almighty God refresh you as you have refreshed us.

We the family of the late Loise Ngima William would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for the love, prayers, emotional and financial support received from family, friends and organisations after her passing. You brought a light and comfort to us during a difficult time and helped make Ngima’s journey to her eternal home a beautiful celebration of her life. For this we shall remain eternally grateful.

Special thanks to the funeral committees in Nairobi and Nyeri, for their tireless work in ensuring that Ngima had a beautiful farewell; and to the St. Jude and Kiamuiru Parishes (Nyeri), Our Lady of Guadeloupe Parish (Nairobi), the St Patrick’s and Assumption/All Saints Parish (Jersey City, USA) and other parishes for offering Holy Mass for Loise. We also greatly appreciate the assistance and support from the Sisters of Charity in Jersey City, N.J, U.S.A. We are grateful to the medical staff who cared for Loise during her illness, Including Dr. Mwiraria, Dr. C.J Muriithi, Dr. Kanyeki and Dr. Nyale, as well as the staff of the Mater Misericordae and Karen Hospitals. We similarly thank the Jamii Hospital for their assistance and support over the years.

Special thanks to the medical teams at Nairobi Women’s Hospital, PCEA Kikuyu Hospital and Kenyatta National Hospital. for their dedicated care. Deep appreciation goes to many friends and relatives who availed themselves to donate blood. We are grateful to the church especially P.C.E.A. led by the Celebrant Parish Minister Rev Eutychus Gikunju. We, the family of the late Nolan Alvin Omondi Odede, wish to thank the Almighty God for the gift of life extended to our son/brother/ cousin/ grandson for the 4 years 10 months he lived in this world.

Our most sincere gratitude and appreciation goes to our family members, friends, relatives and everyone who took time to stand by our side during the period of grief. You took time to call us for comfort; send messages loaded with condolences and encouragement- this is highly appreciated. The financial support granted to us in facilitating honorable send off to our beloved cannot be taken for granted.

Our special thanks and appreciation go to; The medical personnel, MP Shah Hospital for their efforts in trying to resuscitate Nolan’s life. The leadership & parents of both the Church and School, Parklands Baptist, came in a big way in providing spiritual, financial and emotional nourishment during our period of grief. The support from St Mary’s School came in handy as well. The Funeral Committee, Chaired by Henry Nyang’or, did a splendid job in ensuring that the funeral plans were accomplished in record time. The team mobilized resources from all our TRUE friends’ and dependable allies; something we cannot underestimate. Our excellent neighbors, Taj View Apartments, provided the requisite support during the funeral preparations.

Special mention goes to Hon James Macharia, CS Transport and Infrastructure, for his support and personal visit to the family during the time of grief. Hillside Homes Ltd and ABSA fraternity walked with us throughout the journey. Our friends from BNI Sunrise, Pearl Divas, BLE & BBE -UON Class of 99, Fortis Park, Five Star group, NHC Kileleshwa, Consumate court, Bogani Homes, Sapphire Towers and Macways were at the core of this journey.

We cannot mention all of you by name- please accept our sincere appreciation for the support. May the Good Lord richly bless you. We are sure Nolan is resting well with the Angels as we look forward to meeting with him again.

We, the family of the late Elizabeth Kenduiywo wish to thank our Almighty God for the life and times of our Matriarch who was promoted to glory on the 22nd September 2020.

We wish to express our sincere gratitude to family members, relatives and friends who mourned with us. Our appreciation goes to former PM Raila Odinga, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, Speaker of the Senate Ken Lusaka and his National Assembly counterpart Justin Muturi and members of the Parliamentary Service Commission. We wish to thank senators led by Vihiga Senator Hon George Khaniri and members of the National Assembly led by Bomet East MP Beatrice Kones. Special thanks also goes to Bomet Governor Dr Hillary Barchok, MCAs and other staff for the great work they did during that period. We also recognize the Vihiga County government led by Governor Dr Wilbur Ottichillo, his deputy Mr Saisi, MCAs and other staff members who attended the burial ceremony.
