Appreciation

The family of the late Beatrice Wambui Kiarie wishes to thank the Almighty God for the bountiful life of our mother, grandmother, auntie, relative and friend.

We wish to acknowledge our sincere appreciation to all our family members, relatives, friends and associates who remained in solidarity with us during the difficult period of mum’s sickness, the eventual rest and during the mourning period and final journey to rest her on 3′ October 2020. We wish to thank all the doctors and nurses who have attended to her in her long journey of life. We have doctors and nurses at Mater Hospital, Karen Hospital, Coptic Hospital and the very supportive St. Benedicts Hospital in Nyahururu.

Further we wish to thank all Churches and Clergy who have at any time served and prayed with the family and interceded for us. We appreciate our neighbors and the home Baraka PCEA Church in Matindiri and the able committee leadership in helping to organize a befitting send-off. All who participated in any way, be blessed and accept our gratitude now and always. Amen.

1st Anniversary

It’s exactly one year since Eng. Jerome Macharia Waribu went to be with the Lord and his departure left a gap that only God could fill. As we look back on the past: year, we can clearly see how God has held us together.

We, the family of Eng. Jerome, extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our family members and friends who supported us during the burial and throughout this year; we appreciate the outpouring of prayers, encouraging messages, phone calls, personal visits and financial support. You have been a demonstration of God’s love.

We would also like to specially honour and thank the various churches that upheld us during the planning and subsequent burial and continue to support us; Fr. Ng’ang’a and the entire congregation of The Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral Murang’a, CWA St. Veronica Jumuiya and all the Jumuiya’s of St. Mary’s Cathedral, St. Ann Jumuiya Komarock Phase 3A and the Komarock community, Rev. Charles and Pastor Gladys of HGC Ridgeways and all the committee members in Nairobi and Murang’a.

Words cannot express our gratitude to you all, may Almighty God reward each of you for your love and kindness.

You are fondly remembered and lovingly missed by your wife Frida Savai, your children, grandchildren, relatives and friends. Dad you are the best that we could ever have asked for.

Dad, one year has passed since you departed from us to be with the Lord. The sadness of your departure refuses to fade. Words can’t express what you mean to us. We deeply miss your love, compassion, generosity and presence.

Even though you are gone, you are and will always be in our thoughts and In our hearts. You left us beautiful memories and your love is still our guide.

Fondly missed by your loving wife Mary Gathoni, children Moses Wandeto and Chris Karuiru, grandchildren Max Kihara and Zoe Gathoni, your loving mother, brothers, sisters, relatives and friends.

The Kihara family wish to thank the Almighty God for the years we had with Dr. Harrison Kihara. We are grateful for the kindness and friendship shown to us during the most difficult period.

We would like to extend our love and appreciation to all our relatives, friends, his colleagues at Kenyatta National Hospital and neighbours at Hillcrest Close, KPLC Team, as well as well-wishers. Thank you for the over-whelming support which made us give Dr. Kihara a befitting send-off and holding us at this time of bereavement.

Another leaf has fallen Another soul has gone But still we have God’s promise In every robin’s song For He is in His Heaven… And though he takes away… He gives us new found comfort And to Him we shall always lean.

The family of the late Mr George W. Mathu former lecturer at University of Nairobi, an alumni and lecturer at Lincoln University Missouri USA and also a former Director of The Institute of African Studies, wish to sincerely thank the Almighty God for the life He gave to our dearest and beloved husband, dad and grandpa.

We are humbled by the outpouring of love, prayers and financial support we have received and we remain eternally grateful.

Special thanks to the church fraternity of Kenya Assemblies of God Ballad led by Rev. Fred Gitahi, The Elders and Fellowship Friends.

We thank the farewell organising committee from both the Mathu and Wani families for coming through effortlessly during our most difficult time. Our heartfelt thanks also to our dear friends & family that dedicated their time to caring for dad during his illness.

On the 26th Sunday July, 2020 at 3.00 p.m the flame went off as God picked His finest, continue resting well mas as fondly referred to.

The family of STO Ondieki wish to convey our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the Almighty God for the years He gave us with our late Omong’ina Eunice Moraa Ondieki and to all those who in one way or another offered us support both spiritually and materially when she left us and during her send off.

A memorial mass will be held at her Kebabe home, Nyamira County tomorrow, Saturday 10th October, 2020 as from 10.00 a.m. family, friends and relatives are invited.
