We miss you every day Ngumo.

Ngunu & Waweru missed their father this first Christmas and first Easter without you. But they remember your passion for the seasons was about the Saviour and not the festivities. Karen was alone without her husband this Christmas and Easter, But she held you in prayer, thanking God for your life together, remembering prayer as your favourite thing to do no matter the occasion.

Your blood & in-law family from across the world, your church family where you were active member of: Gilgil PCEA, Ruai PCEA, the Bible Study Fellowship Community (HQ & Ruai), Men Fellowship (PCMF), Canaan Church Evangelism Team Choir, Gilgil Jerusalem Choir; as well as your many friends across all divides miss you every day. We miss your 6.00 am calls & Bible verse text messages.

We all miss your effervescent passion for The Lord and your unquenching thirst for His Word no matter the place, the time or circumstances. However, we also remember that this thirst was your greatest joy and sustenance, and know you’re with your King of Kings, Jehovah the Creator of the universe.

A forthright thoughtful man, an intellectual man, a passionate man, an artist, an articulate man, ahardworking man, a diligent disciplinarian father, a loving husband, a concerned son, a protective brother, a caring uncle, a good cousin, a committed kins-man, a faithful congregant, an honourable scout, a teacher of teachers, a Bible-study leader, a dutiful preacher, a driven evangelist, a faithful church member, an organizer of many groups – and above all, a Christian. A man of God. A child of God.

We thank all who mourned, consoled, prayed and stood with us especially Rev Sarah Mureithi, Ruai & Gilgil PCEA churches and the Waweru family. God bless you all.
