It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the passing on of Alice Ann Wangechl Mwangi of Harmony Court, Tassia Embakasi, Nairobi, after a month long admission at The Agha Khan Hospital – Nairobi.

Wife of Jimnah Mwangi Chege (MCC). Mother of Jennifer Wangari Mwangi (KTTC) and Jefferson Chege Mwangi (Tassia School, Nairobi). Daughter of Ms. Pauline Wanjiku Gikunju of Saika Estate, Nairobi.

Daughter-in-law to the late Mr and Mrs. Joseph Chege of Nyagatugu, Mathioya Muranga Sister of Evans Murimi Gikunju of Syokimau and Joyce Nyawira Gikunju of Saika, Nairobi. Sister-in-law of Mrs Mary Mugo, Lucy Gitahi, Naftali, Nancy, James and Margaret.

Family and friends are meeting daily at professional Centre, Parliament Road, for burial preparations and fundraising. We are appealing for kind donations and contributions from friends and relatives to aid in clearance of her medical bills, through:0722 790 266 (Naftali Chege).

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we, the family of Stephen Kinyanjui Kirogo and Public Service Commission announce his death which occurred on 14th May 2021 at The Nairobi Hospital following a long illness bravely borne. Until his demise, Mr Kirogo was the Chairman Public Service Commission.

Son to the Late Samuel Kirogo Kamau and Priscilla Wairimu Kirogo. Loving husband to Anne Wairimu Kinyanjui. Doting father to Samuel Kirogo Kinyanjui (Aga Khan University), Lynet Wairimu Kinyanjui (Melbourne, Australia) and Maureen Wanjeri Kinyanjui. Brother to Amos Kamau, Peter Muchiri, Joel Ngaruiya, Anastacia Waniiru, Jecinta Njeri, Monica Murugi and Simon Njunge.

Son In law to the Late James Kanogo Njuru and Margaret Wanjeri Kanogo. Nephew to Joel Ngaruiya Kinyanjui, Sophia Wambui, Hezekiah Kinyanjui, the late Ruth Waithera and George Gicheha. Brother in law to Margaret Kamau, Monica Muchiri, Rose Ngaruiya, Mary Njunge, Jane Wangare, Regina Mamma, Charles Njuru, Joseph Gakaya (US), Cyrus Kamatu, Gladys and Joseph Macharia (Treasury), Mercy and John Wanjohi (KU) and the late Lynus Maina.

Uncle to Maina, Samuel, Flavian, Boniface, Slyvia, Cindy, Precious, John, Jimmy, Chelsea, Kariuki, Trevor, Michelle and Jayson among others. Cousin to Kenneth Ngaruiya (Media Max), Faith Ngaruiya (KU), Milka Kinyanjui (Pioneer Insurance Co.), Njuguna Munyambu, Milcah Gichecha, Stephen Kinyanjui Munyambu, Stephen Kinyanjui Kiruru among others.

Funeral arrangement meetings will be held at the All Saints Cathedral from Monday 17th – Wednesday 19th May 2021 from 5.00 pm – 7.30 pm and at his home in Laikipla County.

There will be a memorial service on 20th May 2021 at the All Saints Cathedral from 12 noon – 1.30 pm.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Friday 21st May 2021 at 6am for a burial service at Sipill secondary school grounds followed by a private Interment at his farm In Laikipia County.

The eighth born child of the late Bernard Gakuya and Esther Wambui.Wife of Nicholas Ngure Kamau. Mother of Morgan Kamau, Abigael Wambui and Ethan Gakuya. Sister of Joseph Kinyua, the late Joel Kinyua, Anthony Maina, Peterson Karimi, Rose Nyawira, Nancy Njeri, Daniel Mwangi, Dr. Francis Muriuki, and David Githaiga. Daughter-in-law of Mr Joseph Kamau Kinyanjui and the late Margaret Wambui Kamau. Aunt to many.

The cortege will leave Uplands Funeral Home at 8:00 am on Wednesday, 19th May 2021. The requiem mass and burial will follow thereafter at the family home in Githogoiyo village (Opposite old Githogoiyo Primary School), Kambaa Sub-location, Lari Sub-county, Kiambu County.

Father in law to Andrew Ngunjiri, Mukuha Wagana, Richard Waititu, Paul Kunga, Dr. Gitau Kamau, Eng. Kinyua Muchiri, Hellen Wangui, Rosemary Wambui, Grace Waithera and Jane Wakiuru. Grandfather and great grandfather to many.

The cortege leaves Mukurwe-ini Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 19/05/2021 at 9:30AM for the funeral service at St. Peter’s Kiamuya Church at 11:00AM and thereafter the body will be laid to rest at his Kiangima Farm in Kiamuya village, Kagongo sub-location, Othaya sub county, Nyeri county.

The cortege leaves MTRH Mortuary – Eldoret for Lessos Farm – Kitale, on Tuesday 18th May, 2021. Funeral Service and burial will take place on the same day at his farm, Lessos Kitale, Trans Nzoia County.

Aunt of Munga, Manuela, Brian, Samuel and Micheal. Grandmother of Trisha and a cousin to many.

The cortege leaves St. Francis Hospital Mortuary Kasarani, on 19th May, 2021 at 8.30am, for funeral service and burial, at 11.00am on the same day at Juja Mirimaini. Covid19 restrictions will be observed according to government protocols.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home, at 8.00am, on Wednesday 19th May 2021. The funeral will be held at ACK St. Marys Ena, at 11.00am and thereafter laid to rest at her Kathamba farm.

The cortege leaves Kericho Nursing Home on Monday 17th May, 2021, at 1.00pm, for requiem mass at Kipchimchim Catholic Church and later proceed home for a night vigiI.

The funeral mass shall be held on 18th May, 2021, at her home in Cheplanget village, Ainamoi, Kericho County, at 10.00am.

Eternal rest grant unto her O’ Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. Amen!

Son of the late Mweu Kwinga and Anna Mukeli Mweu. Husband of Alice Nthambi. Father of Antony Mweu Mulei, Collins Mutungi, Edna Syokau, Anna Mukeli and Luckyqueen Mueni. Brother of John Kioko, Patrick Mweu, Josphat Wambua, Muema Mweu, Elizabeth Mumbua and Patricia Mbinya. Step-brother of Joseph Mbithi, Simon Kivindu, Aron Katungwa, Margret Yula, the late Rose Nzula and Elizabeth Kavuli.

The cortege leaves Kibugi Funeral Home, on Tuesday 18th May, 2021, for burial at his Kaewa home in Machakos County.
