Wife of Isaac Nangendo – Eldoret University. Mother of Vivian, Evans, Dennis and Gloria. Daughter-in-law of Gideon and Neddy Nangendo. Sister of the late James Manali, Stella Kombo (Jabstier Academy), Joseph Kituyi (USA), Busolo Wegesa and Patrick Lumumba (USA) and Lucas Wegesa (Sigalagala National Polytechnic). Sister-in-law of the late Daniel Wekesa, George Wafula, Beatrice Nakhungu, Gilbert Wanyama, Job Barasa,Abraham Nabibia, Rhoda Busolo, Richard Kombo, Jemima, Abraham Sibiriti, Lydia, Roseline, Naomi, Wilson, Rasoa, Miriam Wegesa.

Burial Service will be held at Makusudi Academy, opposite Gatua Market (Kitale – Eldoret Road), on 24th April, 2021.Thereafter Burial will be done at her home in Baraka Farm – Kitale.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mrs. Ursula Anyango Oteng’ that occurred on the 16th April 2021 at the Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi after a sudden illness.

Daughter of the late Silvester and Ludwina Weda (Ugenya). She was the wife of Mr Samson Oteng. A loving mum to Nellie and Joshua Olang. She was preceded in death by her siblings Simon Otieno, Lucas Ayuko, Felistas Apiyo, Mary Omondi and is survived by her sister Anne Weda. A favourite and beloved aunt and great-aunt to many.

Beloved friend and companion to many.

There will be a requiem mass at St. Paul’s University Chapel on Thursday April 22nd, 2021, from 12.30pm which will be streamed live.

The cortege will leave the Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary, on Friday 23rd April, 2021. The funeral service and burial will be on the same day at her home in Rongo, Migori County.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing to glory of our Sister in Christ Sophia Wainoi Mureithi, which occurred on Friday April 16th, 2021, following a long illness bravely borne.

Beloved wife of the late Josphat Shedrack (JS) Mureithi. Loving mother of Shadrack, Misheck, Abednego and Esther. Adoring mother in law of Tracy, Norah, Alem and Joe. A doting grandmother of Mia-Sophia, Joshua, Arielle, Arianna, Adriel, Sean and Isaac. Daughter of the late Jefitha Muchai Mugo and the late Ruth Njeri Muchai. Daughter in law of the late Mr and Mrs Shedrack Nyaga Karingi. Sister of Florence Kariko, Leah Muthoni, the late David Munene, Priscilla Wangari, Naftaly Mwaniki, the late Loise Wanjiku and the late Joseph Muthii.

Friends, family and well wishers are meeting daily from 4:30PM to 6:30PM until Wednesday 21st April at ACK St Peter’s Cathedral Hall Nyeri, at her home in Rwang’ondu Village, Kirinyaga County, as well as Online on Google Meet at 8PM everyday.

There will be a memorial service at 11AM Thursday April 22nd at the KU Memorial Referral Hospital Chapel. The cortege leaves KU Memorial Referral Hospital Mortuary at 6AM on Friday 23rd April, funeral service will be held from 10AM at ACK St. Peter’s Cathedral Nyeri, and the burial occurring shortly thereafter at Rwang’ondu Village, Gichugu Sub-County, Kirinyaga County.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. Robert Mbuthia Gichuru (Bobo) (Liberty Afrika Technologies) which occurred on the 19/04/2021.

Robert was the son of the late Mr. Charles Mbuthia Gichuru and Mrs Julia Wanjiru Gichuru. He was the husband to Stella Mbuthia, dedicated partner to Susan Mukami. Father to Charles Gichuru, Martin Karungu, Jane Wangui, Alan Kinuthia, Charles Madiba and Christian Mburu. He was an uncle to Julie Maxine, Alexis, Gerald, Charles, Baraka, Imani and Wanji. Grandfather to Kenzo. He was the brother to Martin and Irene Karungu Gichuru, Sidney and Lillian Wambui Ngunyi and Christine Gichimu.

The funeral service is on Friday 23rd April 2021 at 10.00am at Consolata Shrine, and thereafter the burial at Kamandura, Limuru.

COVID 19 restrictions will be strictly adhered to. Only family and close friends will access the church and family home.

The cortege leaves Kisii level 6 hospital on Thursday 22nd April, thereafter burial will take place on Friday 23rd April, 2021 at his home in Riomoro Sub location, Nyamache Sub County, Kisii County.

The cortege leaves Naivasha Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 22nd April, 2021 at 9.00am. Prayers and Funeral Ceremony will follow at his farm situated at Mararo Naivasha Sub-county, Nakuru County.

Brother of the late Nyamweno, the late Nyangoka and the late Nyarinda, the late Nyabeta. Cousin of Obanyi, Bosire, Pacifica, Machuka, Kwamboka and many others. Brother-in-law of Paul Makori, Billiah, Esther, Sarah, Nancy, Charles, the late Momanyi, the late Ondieki, the late Ephsiba, the late Francis. An uncle to many. He has left behind 28 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mzee Achoka was loved by many and lived a great life. He will be greatly missed.

The burial will take place at his Kiomanga farm, Bokeira Ward, Nyamira County on Friday 23rd April, 2021. Covid-19 regulations will be strictly adhered to.
