With humble acceptance of God’s will. We regret to inform you of the demise of James Nguma Kamau (formerly of KTDA). He was the son of the late Esbon Kamau Murumbi and Beatrice Mugure Kamau.

Brother to Stephen Murumbi (Muranga), Catherine Waigumo Mugo (Nairobi), Eunice Wanjiku Njuguna (Nairobi) and late Kennedy Mains. Husband to Alice Waruguru Nguma (Stanchart) father to Kevin Kamau Nguma, Martin Njau Nguma and Maureen Mugure Nguma. Son-in-law to the late Monica!) Gathoni Ngari (Kamacharia). Brother-in-law to Stephen Njau (USA), Harrison Mains (Kamacharia), Nelson Mwangi (Umoja-Nbi), Edward Mugo Ngigi and Daniel Muchiri.

The funeral will be held on 19th March 2021 at the family home, Thinwaini, Giitwa village in Mugeka sub-location, Muranga County. The body will be removed from Avenue Hospital Mortuary at 7.30 am. Funeral service will be held at ACK St. Paul Kibuu church (Giitwa) starting from 11.30 am, followed by burial at the family home nearby.

Friends and family are meeting at All Saints Cathedral-Nbi, his residence in Umoja – I Estate, Nbi and Muranga home.

Husband of Mary Njoki Mwangi. Loving father of Catherine Mwangi (Dubai) and Monica Mwangi (Raleigh Nc USA). Loving son to the late Samuel Kiragu Magonga And Susan Wambui Kiragu of Murang’a. Son-in-law of the late Mr/Mrs John Wamwea of Kairi, Thika. Father in law of James Njenga. Grandfather of Mary Njoki and Jasmine Wambui. Beloved brother of Njer, Gathinja, Waithaka, Kabura and Maina. Brother-in-law, Uncle, Grandfather to Many.

Friends and family are meeting at family home Kirigiti, Kiambu 6.00pm on Tuesday &Wednesday.

The cortege leaves Montezuma on Thursday March 18th 2021 at 9:00am to his final resting place at his home in Kiangage village, Murang’a.

Son of the late Fredrick Kimani Karanja and the Late Teresiah Wairimu Kimani. Son-in-law of the late Sospeter Kisagha and the late Naomi Malemba. He was a devoted and beloved husband to the Late Matilda Ngele Ngechu. Doting father to Sophie Malemba (Ministry of Lands), Teresia Wairimu and Moses Kairu, Esther Wanjiku, Peter Karanja and Margaret Mwadime (Voi), Joseph Kisagha (County Government of Uasin Gishu) and Naomi Wangari, William Kabaiku (Wainaina Ireri Advocates LLP) and Wanjiku Nguma.

Brother of Late Patriciah Wanjiku, Late William Kabaiku, PS. Gitau, Late Beatrice Mukami, Samuel Antony Mwangi, Lawrence Karugu, Bertha Mwangi and Lucy Nduha. Brother-in-law to the Late Elizabeth, John, Late Norman, Christine, Joshua, Evelyn, Reuben, Beatrice, Simon and Silvanus. Uncle to Peter, Kanyingi, Thagichu,Wairimu, Njambi, Fred,S ammy, Chege, Mzera, Martin and Bryson and many others.

Grandfather to Sarah, Paul, Matilda Gakure, Jimmy, Willy, Peris, Joseph, Matilda Karanja, Rachael, Margaret, Matilda, lsaack, Tatiana, Branson, Ryan, James , Matilda Kisagha, Jayson and Brayden. And a great grandfather to Naomi, Matilda, Max, Dylan, and Emmanuel.

Prayers and Funeral meetings are being held daily at his home in Utawala near P.C.E.A, St Pauls, Githunguri Estate.

The Cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching Referral & Research Hospital Funeral Home (Northern Bypass) at 7.00 am on Friday, 19th March 2021. A requiem mass to celebrate his life will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church along the Flyover —Njabini Road, at Magumu in Kinangop. Mr. Ngechu shall be laid to rest at the family farm at Mwenda Andu, Kinangop, Nyandarua County.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Thika Road, on Friday 19th March, 2021, at 7.00am.The funeral service will be held at PCEA Gatugi Church – Othaya, at 10.00am. Thereafter he will be laid to rest at his father’s home in Gatugi village.

She was the wife of the late Haggai Shijenje. Daughter of William Shikanga and the late Timina Shikanga. She was the daughter-in-law of the late Zachariah Shijenje and the late Leah Mudola. She was the Mother to Dr. Isaac, Anne, Moses, Denis, Christine, Daniel, Maureen, Masitsa and Amanda.

Parent-in-law to the late Hirbo and Arbe Hirbo, Retired Major Maraki Onguso and Emily Onguso and Rose Waruguru. She was the sister to David, the late John, Eunice, Mary, the late Jane, Esther, Tom and Bernard. She was the sister-in-law to the late Tom, the late Simon, the late Analo, the late Nicodemus, the late Erastus, Ruth, Jane, Violet, the late Khayesi, Everlyne and Ilamaya. Grandmother to Shijenje, Hirbo, Warona, Selaini, Inara and Imani. She was a beloved aunt and friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her home in Jericho everyday from 5 00pm to 8.00pm.

There will be a fundraising on Wednesday 17th March, 2021, at her home in Jericho Lumumba at 4.00pm -7.00pm.

here will be a funeral service at Friends International Centre Ngong Road on Thursday 18th March, 2021 from 12 midday to 2.00pm.

Burial will take place on Saturday 20th March, 2021, at her home in Shisasari village in Shinyalu Kakamega County.

He was born on 25th December, 1957, in Kithiu Village, Meru. Son to the late Amos Marangu and the late Margaret Kairigo. Loving husband to Asunta lgoki. A dedicated father to Eric Mwenda, Eva Gatwiri, Emma Muthoni and Amyliza Karimi. Father-in-law to Christabel Awinja. Grandfather of Martin Munene, Jeremy Muriithi and Precious Kendi. Brother to Rose Kanario, the late Geoffrey Gitonga and Monica Kanugu.

Prayers and burial arrangements are ongoing at his home in Kithiu Village, Meru.

There will be a Funeral Service at Gakoromone Methodist Kamathi Marangu Church, on Friday, 19th March, 2021 and thereafter he will be laid to rest at his Kithiu home in Mwiteria Sub-location, Meru County.

The Cortege leaves KU Referral funeral home on Thursday 18th March 2021 at 8:00 A M and the funeral service shall be held starting at 11:00 A M at Ruruguti Holy Family Catholic Church and thereafter the Interment to follow at his Mithakwa home.
