It is with deep sorrow that we the family of Mr. and Mrs. Kiarie Waweru of Nairobi Metropolitan Services-Health Department announce the demise of our son Willy Waweru Kiarie of Simplify IT on 13th March 2021 which occurred suddenly at his home.

He was husband to Susan Mumbi Waweru. Dotting father to Kayla Maria Njeri. Brother to Abigail Ruguru Kiarie and Feliciah Wangui Kiarie. Son in-law to Mr & Mrs. Edward Kamau Nyoori. Nephew to Nancy Munene, Eunice Kiarie (UK), Sarah Kiarie (UK), Florence Kiarie (Nakuru), Jane Kiarie (NSE), Grace Kiarie Gachagua (Nakuru), and Stella Muchoni(Dubai). Cousin to Jerome, Leila, Claire, Cynthia, Roy, Sharon, Tracy, Brandon, Lily, Christine, Bonita, Brooklyn, Judah, Neema, Zaki, Abraham, Mary, Shiro among many others.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at their home in Kiambu, Riverside Estate from 6.00PM.

The cortege leaves Montezuma and Monalisa Funeral Home (Mbagathi Road), on Thursday 18th March 2021 at 7.00AM. Funeral service will take place at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Ridgeways beginning at 10.00AM. Thereafter burial to follow at Kambaa, Miumia A Githunguri.

Eternal Rest grant unto him Ooh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in eternal peace.

William Kariuki Ndirangu, age 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, 14 March 2021, at Mediheal Hospital in Nairobi. He was born in Kaigonde, Tetu, Nyeri county in 1936 to the late Ndirangu Wahome and late Tabitha Mumbi.

Brother to the late James Wahome, late Wairimu Muchemi, late Wanjiru Muhato, late Johnston Gituro and Joyce Gathoni. He is survived by his spouses, Alice Wanyara Kariuki and Anne Mwihaki Kariuki. He was father to Anne Kimari, Lt Col (Rtd) Mike Kariuki, Elizabeth Wang’ombe, John Maina, Rosemary Kariuki Sing’oei, Sylvia Nyangati, James Wahome, late Peter Kioni,Tabitha Mumbi, Mary Njeri and Lewis Ndirangu. Father in-law to Capt.(Rtd) P. G Kimari, Theresa Kariuki, Humphrey Wang’ombe, Paul Sing’oei and Anabelle Kioni. He leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family, friends are invited to the Bowling Green from 5.30 p.m.-6.30 p.m. on Monday 15 and Tuesday, 16 March, 2021 and daily at his home in Bavuni Wanyororo, Bahati Sub-County, Nakuru County to reminisce, grieve, and support each other.

There will be a funeral service at St. Michael Catholic Church Wanyororo from 10.00a.m. on Friday, 19 March, 2021 followed by interment at his home immediately thereafter.

Son of the late Matayo Pate and Agnes Messah of Ibanda Village, Sikinga Sublocation Bukhayo East Location Nambale Subcounty Busia County. Loving husband of Florence Agutu Okello. Father to SNR Chief Gerishom Wandera Pate, Francis Ongode Pate of KQ Nairobi, Patrick Ngan’nga’te Pate of Faulu Kenya, Brenda Moiti of Texas USA, Daniel Ademba Pate of Darwin Australia and Stella Okello Okomba of Perth Australia.

Grandfather to Mildred Wandera, Damiano Ngan’nga’te Barasa, Joy Messah Pate, Faith Namisi, Leone Okisai, Darrell Pate, Norrel Musavi, Reina Wells, Synthia Pate, Ezra Baraka Okisai, Domiano Pate, Ryan Nicholas Mutsune, Sheila Machio, Zawadi Pate, Zuri Pate, Katherine Okomba, Kylie Florence, and Mathew Okomba. Great grandfather to Yvonne Aluoch and others.

Beloved brother to late Omerikwa Pate, late Paustina Nasirumbi, Leonida Nekesa Moiti and Jesca Auma Pate. Brother in law to late Odongo Aiswa, late Okodi Late Nicholas Omondi, late Machio late Eli, Pricar Anyango Margaret Ogingwe among others. Nephew to Nyakasi of Likolis. Uncle to Shelter Oduori, Stephen Pate, Stephen Wandera among others.

Father in law to Hellen Nyaranga KRA Eldoret, Petronillah Luyayi Wriggles Nakuru, Beatrice Busuru ACK Nambale, Caroline Ondeje Perth Australia and Dr Felix Mugoma Okomba of Perth Australia

Burial will take place on Friday 19th March 2021 at his home at lbanda Village Sikinga sub Location – Nambale Sub County, Busia.

Mother-in-law of Dr. Jenish Joy (India), Beniginas Kalekye (Nakuru) and Sheila Khasiala (Nairobi). Grandmother of Ulrich, Jerin, Godwin ,Aleena, Johann and Sebastian Jr.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home at 9.00am, on Wednesday 17th March, 2021, for a Church service at St. Monica Catholic Church in Section 58, Nakuru followed by a private burial ceremony at the family farm at Kaptarakwa, Lower Subukia, Nakuru County.

Gichuru (UON), Martin Njau, Irene Gichuru, Eva Gichuru (USA) Lilian Wanjiru (TSC), and Father in Law to Mary Wanjiru Njau. Brother to Waweru Njau, James Muthami, Simon Muhia, Grace Wanjiku, and Brown Muchiri. Grandfather to Naima, Ann, Grace, Eugene, Claudia Joy and Michelle.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Thogoto.

The cortege leaves St Teresa funeral home on Thursday 18th March 2021 at 8.30 am and proceed to his farm at Kibiku A, Ngong for the funeral service, starting 11am.

Sister in-law to Sam Gachuhi, John and Mina Waweru and Paul Gakuru. She was Tata to Wamucii, Arianna, Ngendo, Nathan, Nduta, Karanja, Penzi, Macharia, Zuri and Surin. Much loved niece, cousin, special friend to Titus and Judy Theuri and many more.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home for a private family burial .This will be followed by a memorial talk via zoom to be held on Wednesday 17th March 2021 at 11am.

We look forward to seeing her soon in the resurrection.

Grandmother of Robert, Douglas (US), Edwin (US), Obadiah (US), Sharon, Alex, Philip, Sheila, Pam, Bavon, Lilian, Silas (Australia), Maureen, Erick, Benja, Judy, Nyaboke, Osoro, Lena, the late Dorothy, Charity, Bosibori and many more. Catherine was daughter of the late Ngari Mukundie and Jemimah Mukundie. Wife and best friend to Senior Surveyor Alex Kiamati Njuki and treasured mother to the late Dr Patricia Wawira Njuki, Roselyn and Kiburi Njuguna, Leonard and Josephine Njiru and Winnie and Paul Kugonza. She was loving grandmother to Wanjiru, Turi, Alex, Doreen, Chris, Katie, Rachel, Rebecca, David and Raphael. She was sister to Nyaga, Jane, Susan, Lilian, Rose and Mary. Daughter in law of the late Leon and the late Magdaline Kithii. Sister in law to Eunice, the late Henry and Adriano.

Dr. Patricia was the loving daughter of Alex and the late Catherine Njuki. She was treasured mother to Raphael Chipunza and beloved sister to Roselyn and Kiburi Njuguna, Leonard and Josephine Njuki and Winnie and Paul Kugonza.

Holy mass is being conducted daily at their Mukinduri Road, Karen residence at 3.00 pm.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University funeral home at 7.00am on Wednesday 17th March for Kigwambiti village, Mbeere county where they will be laid to rest in the family home.

He was brother to Janice & late Mwirigi, Pam & late (Hon) Malebe, Catherine & Gakure, Stella & late Kinoti, late Karea and late Guantai, Faith & late Kimathi, late Jotham Muriungi and Salome and Mwenda Marete.

He was son-in-law to Monica, Rael & late Stephen Mungania. He was the brother-in-law of Margaret & Marangu, Gladys & late Mwiti, Agnes & Gichubi, Susan & late Mwiti, late Gacheri late Murungi, Wambui & Kinoti, Lydia & Murerwa, Ntakira, the late Kanini & Muthuri, late Paid, Jane & late Riungu and Kathambi & Kaaria.

Due to COVID- 19 restrictions, funeral arrangements are ongoing virtually via “Castro’s Send-off WhatsApp Group” and burial will be a private ceremony for close family members and friends.

The body will leave Montezuma Monalissa Funeral Home, Mbagathi Way on Wednesday March 17, 2021 at 8.00am and burial thereafter at Langata Cemetery, Nairobi at 10.00am.
