Sister to the late Julius Mwanthi, the late John Musembi, Charles Wambua, Rhoda Munyao, Joyce Mwikali and Michael Nzioka. Mother to Purity Koki Nzomo, Mary Mueni Mwithiga & Dr Leonard Thuo Mwithiga and Anne Ndila Nzomo. Grandmother to Rosemary Mueni Mwithiga, Bill Mwithi Mwithiga and Angela Nthoki Mwithiga.

She was wife to the late Mathias Mutua Kioko of Kauti Village, Kauti Sub Location, Kithembe Location, Kilungu Sub county, Makueni County. She was sister to Faustine Mutungi, the Late David-Wambua, the Late Lawrence King’oo, Christina Masila, Pascalia Mukei, Monica, the Late Amandi, Mary, Mutuku, Onesmus, Consolata, Winfred, Mbithe, Mukonyo and McKenzie.

She was mother to Josephine Mueni, Colletta Mumo, Lucas Linge, Arch. Mutua Urbanos, Jacinta Nduku and Richard Muema. She was aunt to Mwende, Jeniffer, Jacinta, Lilian, Victor, Timothy, Judy, Mathew, Zita, Lambert, Matilda, Rita, Sebastian, Mwendwa, Jimmy, Jane, Gilbert among others. She was grandmother to Alfonse Mutua, Joseph Kioko, Eugene Ndeti, John Mulitu, Mathias Mutua, Brian Kioko, Evelyne Nduku, Samuel Mutua, Austin Steve, Wendy Joy, Bephine Zena, Joseph Ndaia, Adrian Mutua, Eric Kioko.

She was mother in law to Onesmus Musembi, Leonard Kaboi, Stella Linge, Angelline Mutungi and Mary Muema. She was sister-in-law to Amandi Muia, Elizabeth Muia, Leonard Kioko, and Mary Muema.

Family and friends will be engaged online for burial preparations. The burial date will be communicated in due course.

Son of the late Osoro and the late Kerubo of Morako village, Morako Sub-location, Sengera Location, Manga. Beloved husband of the late Mama Rebecca Nyakambi. Loving father of Mary Nyabate, Margaret Moraa, the late George Osoro, Henry Makori, Cliff Ongubo, Lucy Nyangweso, Stella Bonareri, Benard Onwonga and Domitilla Moraa.

Son-in-law of the late Sokoro Stephen Chweya and late Magokoro Mokeira. Father-in-law of Samson Misati, Asanyo Maisiba, the late Margaret Kerubo, Elder Nyamorarambo, Ann Maina, Njeru Mugo, Steve Getabu, Lilian Makambo and Simion Ondande. Brother of the late Nyabate, the late Bikeri, late Nyamage, the late Mochere, the late Birundu, the late Barango and the late Nyangweso. Step-brother of Karinga, the late Nyabate, Asati, Mariam,Teresa and Gisemba. Brother-in-law to Nyakara, Moraa, Mea, Margaret, Nyarandi and Ruth. Grandfather of Sofia, Lilly, Harriet,Ashley, Clinton, Rodney, Steve, Stephone,Vicky, Dan and 35 others. A great-grandfather of 19. He is an uncle of Osoros, Nyabates, Omwanzas, Alfayos, Sibia, among others.

The cortege leaves Hema Hospital Mortuary – Kisii, for a Memorial service to be held on Thursday, 18th March, 2021.The burial will be on Friday, 19th March, 2021, at his home in Morako Village.

Brother of Susan Wakonyo Ngethe, Joyce Njeri Ngethe, and Martin Matu Ngethe. A nephew, cousin and friend of many.

The burial will be held at their family farm in Ngorika, Nyandarua County, on Friday 19th March, 2021. Due to Covid19 protocols, it will be a private family function.

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, that the family of Mwalimu Josphat Mutia and Kyondoni Girls’ fraternity announce the sudden death of our great pillar Mwalimu Josphat Kwongela Mutia, which occurred on 13th March 2021 at Jordan Hospital Kiwi. He was the pioneer principal of Kyondoni Girls Secondary School, former Principal (retired) Itoloni Secondary and A.I.C. Mutonguni region treasurer for many years.

He was the son of the late Mutia Mulu Kanyithya and the late Loise Mbiku. Beloved husband to Janet Kamwende, a loving father to Rose Mueni, Elizabeth Munanie, Phoebe Mbute, Carol Kavata, Benson Mutia, Peter Nzambu and Sharon Ndanu.A caring brother to Charles Mutia, oel Mutia, Nzaya Munyamala, the late Ndeve Ngall and the late Mukai Mwathe. Step-brother to Boniface Muth, Nduti Mbelo, Musau Mutia and Ngui Kalu. He was the son-in-law to the late Elizabeth and the late Nashon Nzambu Kathi.An affectionate father-in-law to Titus Kyalo Mbuvi, Evans Maiko, Titus Muthangya, Bishop Musembi and Rodgers Ithuku Mutinda.A fond grandfather to Victor, Esther, Josephat, Edwin, Eric, Elias, Anthony, Augustus, Mercy, Lewis, Chris, Gift, Enzo, Abigail, Abel, Dan and dearest to you all.

Until his demise, he was a devoted B.O.M. member of Kyondoni Girls’, Mutonguni Boys’, Mutonguni Girls’, Kasue Secondary and Kyondoni Mixed.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence Nzinia Kitui West for prayers.

The cortege will leave Tribute Funeral Home Syongila on 19th March 2021 for a funeral service at their home in Maulunl village, Nzinia, Mutonguni- Kitui county starting at 11:00am.

The Lord gave us Mwalimu Josphat Kwongela Mutia and the Lord has taken Mwalimu away, In God’s hands he rests, in our hearts, he will remain forever.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, on Friday 19th March, 2021 at 10.00am.

The requiem mass will be held at Bulbul Catholic Church. Burial will follow thereafter at his home in Kangawa Village, Oloolua Location, Kajiado County.

The cortege leaves Mater Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 18th March, 2021 at 6:00am for funeral service and burial at his farm in Shauri village, Nyahururu at 11:00am.

Grandfather of Arthur Kitheka Wambua, Muathime Kioko, Mutheu Kioko & Mwianie Kioko. He was the son of the late Snr. Chief Philip Kioko Mue and the late Mary Ngii Kioko. Son-in-law to late Beth Nduku Kalovoto. Brother of Esther Mumbua, Monica Matheka, Richard Mumo, the late Beatrice Nzisa, Harrison Muthusi, Agnes Mbatha among many others.

Family and friends will meet at his home in Kinanie today and tomorrow for funeral and burial arrangements.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home Machakos on Friday 19th March 2021 at 8.00-am for funeral and burial service at his home in Kinanie, Athi River from 10am
