Daughter of the late Allan Kimemia and the late Jane Wanjiru. Wife of Eliud Munga Kiragu. Sister of Jedidah Wanjiru, the late Peter Mwangi, Lillian Njoki, Dennis Muna, Josephat Karanja, Margret Nyambura, Esther Koimbi (UK), Kenneth Maina. Beloved Mother of Allan Kimemia Munga, Peris Waithera Munga, Robert Kiragu Munga, John Mwangi Munga, Grandmother of Tyler Munga. Sister-in-law of Julius Waititu (UK), Joyce Wangeci, John Mwangi, The late Rosemary Nyambura, David Irungu, the late Mary Wangari, Margret Metumi, Julius Chege. All from Weithaga, Murang’a County.

The Burial will be held on Thursday, 19th November 2020 at Kamararo Village, Weithaga Muranga County.

Funeral arrangements and prayers are ongoing at their residence in Thika Happy Valley Estate From 6:00pm — 7:00pm.

Son of the late Simon and Esther Mugambi Karanga. Son-in-law of Musa and Jericah Muguna. Husband of Jane Karimi Kinoti (Teachers Service Commission). Father of Kevin Munene Kinoti (Ministry of Healthy Brother of Faith Mbwiria, Paul Mbaabu Karanga and Susan Karimi. Brother-in-law of Stella, the late Mbwiria, Rev. Riungu, the late Mbae, Sarah, Kagendo, Gacheri, Kiragu, Muthuuri, Ndege and Muriuki.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Chuna Estate, Kitengela and rural home in Kithirune Village, Central !menu, Meru County from 5.00pm for Prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home, on Friday, 20th November, 2020 at 5.00am for the Church Service and burial at his rural home in Kithirune Village, Central Imenti in Meru County.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden demise of Damaris Wahu Karumi, that occurred on Tuesday 10th November, 2020.

Daughter of the late Wilson Karumi and Jemimah Wangui. Mother of Jane Wangui and Esther Muthoni. Grandmother of Ashley Wahu. Sister of Esther Gathoni, Ruth Wangari, Bilha Njeri, Marion Wangari, late Anthony Kiiru, Peterson Kimaru, Gladys Wambui and Elias Maina. A cousin, auntie, grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Meetings are being held daily at her home, Buruburu Phase 4, Legorinyo Court, house No. 720, from 4.00pm.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday 17th November, 2020.The cortege leave KU Mortuary, Thika Road at 6.00am for a celebration of life ceremony a Kamune ACK St. Peters Church Kamune, Muranga. Thereafter, Damaris will be laid to rest at the family home in Kamune Village.

We thank our almighty God for the many years we were privileged to share with her. Sing with the angels as you continue to live in our hearts, till we meet again. Rest in peace.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday 17th November 2020 at 9am. Funeral service will take place at St. James cathedral Kiambu at 11:00am and thereafter for burial at her farm in Turitu. There will be a memorial service  Sunday 15th November 2020 at 3:00pm at St. James Cathedral Church Kiambu.

Egerton University Fraternity is saddened to announce the passing on of Professor Samuel Kariuki Kabuitu on 5th November,2020 while undergoing treatment at the Karen Hospital after a short illness.

Until his demise he was Associate Professor of Botany (Plant Taxonomy) in the Department of Biological Sciences; an accomplished Plant Taxonomist who earned himself the title ‘A WALKING PLANT DICTIONARY’. He was the Founder and Coordinator of the Egerton University Botanic Garden and Biodiversity Centre as well as the Coordinator of Herbal Medicine and Research Centre. He was involved in many programmes and projects in the University such as Mau Egerton University Cross Country, Njoro River Rehabilitation, and Conservation of the Mau Watershed Complex, Limnology and Wetlands Management training among others. Prof. Kariuki was extensively involved in research in bio-prospecting and herbal medicine in collaboration with traditional herbalists.

He is survived by the wife Mrs. Lydia Kariuki, children Carole and Godwin Karuga, Charles Maina, Beatrice and Samuel Gakungo, Robert and Catherine Karuga, and three grandchildren.

Memorial service will take place today the 16th November 2020 at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi, time 2.00pm to 3.45pm.

Burial will take place on Wednesday 18th November 2020, the body is lying at Montezuma Funeral Home Kabati Thika Road, assemble at the Funeral home at 7.30am and depart to Kirinyaga at 8.30am. Funeral service will be held at Githua-ini Primary Playground thereafter we lay late Prof at his Kamoro home, Kariti Ward, Ndia West, Kirinyaga County at 11.00am.

It is with deep regret that we announce the untimely death of Philamon Kibet Kaino of National Museum of Kenya, who died in the early hours of Monday, 9th November, 2020 at his Kabete Residential home, after a long battle with Cancer.

A loving husband of Tabitha Kibet. A loving father of Everlyne Jepchumba, Caren Jepkosgei, Annalyne Jemutai and Jacinta Jelagat. Son of Thomas Kaino Rotich and Maria Kaino. Brother of the late Samuel Kaboron, the late Peter Kimutai, Josphine Jesang, Georgina Jepkong’a, Margaret Jepkosgei and the late Sabina Jepchumba. Son-in-law of Benjamin Boit and Josephine Boit.

Friends and relatives are holding meetings and prayers at his residential home, Kabete and his home Village (Kipkirwon) – Elgeyo-Marakwet County ahead of his burial that is scheduled to take place on 14th November, 2020.

The cortege will leave Chiromo Funeral Home on Friday, 13th November, 2020 for overnight stay at his rural home Kipkirwon Village followed by burial on 14th November, 2020.

Son of the late James Njuguna and the late Emily Wanjiku. Dear brother of the late Margaret Wairimu, Peter Njuguna (Testimony), Serah Njuguna (Testimony inn) and Salome Gatheca (Brilliant Hardware). A loving Uncle and Grandfather to many.

There will be a memorial service at PCEA Karen, near The Hub, on Sunday 15th November 2020, from 3.00pm.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Wednesday 18th November 2020, at 8.00am. Thereafter, burial service will be at PCEA Upper Matasia Primary School grounds, from 10:30 am. Later, the body will be laid to rest at his farm at Kahara, Upper Matasia Ngong, Kajiado County.
