Eunice Wairimu Njoroge

Tribute

We have lost a praying mother, but we have not lost her prayers. Matthew Henry said of parents that they could far better leave behind for their children a treasury of prayers than a treasury of gold and silver. We have been blessed in this way as children and grandchildren.

Here on earth, our dear parents loved the church as the local manifestation of the body of Christ. They gave their life for it – Dad (who in Nov 2017, went to be with the Lord) was a PCEA elder for over forty years and a PCMF member; Mum, was a deacon and Woman’s Guild member for a similar period.

Mum was a hardworking mother and was still actively running St Eunice Preparatory school until Schools closed in March 2020. She was generous helping and supporting friends, family, strangers and the Church. She taught us love, For us death holds a glorious hope, the hope of heaven. It is because of this hope that we have peace, peace that surpasses all understanding, peace that gives us the assurance that one day we will be able to see you again.

Mum, we loved you but God loved you more. Till we meet again.

Matthew 5:4. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be Comforted.
