Mother of Margaret Wangui (USA), Esther Wambui (UK), Kamau Joram (USA), Jane Joram (AG’S Office) Miriam Wangui (UK), Liz Mbui, Jacob Makumi (Narok) and John Wanyoike. Mother in law of Rev. Peter Gitau (USA), the late Hannah Wanjiru, Paul Karanja (UK), Esther Wangui and Winnie Ndanu. Sister of the late Joseph Thuku, the late Beth Mureu, the late Ibrahim Kagwima, Miriam Kaboro and John Thuo.

Auntie of the Thuku’s, Mureu’s (Narok), Kagwima’s, Thuo’s, Miriam’s, Wanyoike’s, Gaitha’s, Chabi’s, Mwiruri’s, Njoroge’s,Wairimu’s, Jane’s, Morgan’s and Njuhi’s. Grandmother of Tony Maroro & Rebecca, Carol Maroro, Joram Mbui & Edna Rono, Eva Mwaura, Edith Wanjiku and Patrick, Grace Waithera & Mburu, Margaret Wangui & Kungu, Faith Wariara & Ayub, Mbui kamau, Esther Kamau, Eyden Wanjiku, Mbui Makumi, Joy Wangui, Mbui John and Tony Musango. Great grandmother of Cameron, Tasha, Ashley, Ryan, Wyne, Jayden, Sammy, Angel, Steph, Austine and Myles.

The cortege leaves lee funeral home on Wednesday 1/7/2020 at 7:00am for the funeral service that will be at Magina Secondary school followed by the burial at her home Magina.

Daughter of the late Rev. Samuel Muiga Kirutu and Eunice Kerigo of Aguthii Location, Nyeri; wife of the late Dr. Peter Odada Sumba; daughter-in-law of the late Sumba Osiro and Cyprine Auma of Buru  village, Koyugi location, Rachuonyo, Homa Bay County; mother of Jacob Otieno, Samuel Muiga, Cyprine Mitchell, Charles Aol, Kerigo Odada, Phoebe Ciru; mother-in-law of Mwende Nyakiaro and Ben Mitchell. Sister of Wilson, Late Wachira, Ritho, Late Wangeci, Elizabeth, Jedida, Robert and Rehab. Sister-in-law of Joseph Langa. Grandmother of Sumba, Daudi, Herana among others and aunt of many.

The cortege leaves Mater Hospital Mortuary, Nairobi on Monday 29 June for burial in her rural home in Buru Village, Rachuonyo, on 30th June 2020.

The cortege will leave Lee funeral Home on 29th 06 2020 and she will be laid to rest on 30th June 2020, at her home in Sosiot, Kericho county.

Friends and family are meeting at his home in Ruai.

The cortege leaves Lee funeral home on 30th June, 2020 followed by burial on the same day at his home in Ruai. The funeral service Will take place at Lee Chapel

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely demise of Sir James Ong’awo Matito who passed on at the Kenyatta National Hospital after a short illness. Until his death, James was the Head of ICT at SMEP Microfinance Bank.

Beloved son of the late Elkana and Truphosa Ong’awo. Loving husband of Lucy Akinyi Ong’awo and Grace Okal Ong’awo. Father of Brian, Sharon, Judith, the late Mark, Trevor, Einstein and Lloyd Jesse.

Father-in-law of Mitchelle Mawa, Seth Willis Onserio and Raphael Ongubo.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Hospital Morgue on Monday 29th June 2020 at 6.00 am. A requiem service and celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday 30th June, 2020 at his Rural home in Karuchuonyo Village. The burial will follow on the same day at his home Oindo village, Karachuonyo West Division, Homabay County.

She was a loving mother to Carlos, Gregory and Catlin.
