Son of the late Mr. Cyrus Bore Wangima and the late Sheimith Wachera Bore of Karuna-ini Village. Husband of the late Esther Wandia Gichuki and Father of the late Ken Bore Gichuki and Ishbah Nguitui Gichuki. Brother of Maryann Bore, Joyce Muthoni Wanjama, Wanja Bore, Wahinya Bore, the late Wanjohi Bore and Naomi Wambui Maina. Loving uncle of Nyaguthi, Mumbi Bore, Lorna Wachera, Murithi, Wairimu, Mugo Wahinya, Ndung’u and Florence.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Komarock Sector One, Mzizi Court, Karuna-ini home and his residence from 6 p.m.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Wednesday 26th February 2020 at 6:30 a.m. The burial and funeral service will be at his home at Karuna-ini village, Muhoya Location, Kimathi Ward, Nyeri at 11.00 a.m. on the same day.

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the passing of “Tata-Sokoro” Mzee Sabastiano Mogire Kebati on 13th February, 2020 at Coptic Hospital, Nairobi. He was born in Ikonge Village, Nyamira County.

Beloved husband of the late Juliana Nyanchera Mogire. Father of Dr Joseph Nyachiro (Canada), Dr James Mogire (KNH), Christopher Mogire, Priscah Mesocho, Dennis Mogire, Kennedy Mogire, Josephine Mogire (USA), Florence Bagiti (Kiamogake Sch.), Hellen Mogire (KPLC), Rioba Mogire, Floryne-Rose Mogire, Linet Mogire (KPLC) and Evelyne Mogire (KPC). Grandfather to 40 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

There will be a fundraiser at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Tuesday 25/02/2020 at 5:30 pm to offset hospital bills and funeral expenses. Contributions can be sent to the `Sabastiano Mogire Funeral Fund’, MPesa Paybill Number 5022767.

The cortege leaves Coptic Hospital on Thursday 27th February, 2020 at 7:00am.

The funeral mass will be held at Ikonge Catholic church, Nyamira county, on Friday 28th February at 9:00 am, followed by the burial at his home next to the church.

We thank God for the years we have shared with Tata-Sokoro.

Loving mother of Peninah Nungari, Events Essentials and John Kimani, Business Consultants. Mother in-law of Diana Mutua, Safaricom and grandmother of Sean Kamakiru and Kelly Nyambura. Sister of the late Samuel Kiguongo, the late John Gatheca, late Lydia Wangari, the late Edith Ruguru, Wanjiku Gitahi of Githunguri, Wanjiru Mwangi of Karatina, Nyambura Karani of Kibichoi and Wangari Kariuki of Buruburu. Most beloved aunt, cousin, mentor and a friend of many.

Prayers and burial arrangements will be held at St. Andrew’s PCEA church Hall on Tuesday 25th, Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th February 2020 from 5:00pm.

The cortege leaves Lee funeral home at 7.30 am on Friday 28th February 2020, for memorial service which will take place at St. Andrew’s PCEA Church. This will be followed by the burial ceremony at her home in Gathugu, Githunguri, Kiambu County.

Mother in-law of Margaret Wanjiru Wanjumbi, Nicholas Githinji Muhiu, Abigael Wanjiku Gitonga and Kiarie Kinyanjui. She was cuucu and a great grandmother.

Daughter of the late Kabwi Kanyari and the late Diana Gakonyo of Mukurwe-ini. Sister of the late Kanyari Kabwi, the late Wambui Tatua, the late Njanga Kabwi and Mary Wangui Kinyiria.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home at Gathaithi Village – Tetu – Nyeri and at PCEA St. Andrew’s Church, Nairobi tomorrow Tuesday, 25th February, 2020 and Wednesday, 26th February, 2020.

The  cortege leaves Tumutumu Mission Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 28th February, 2020 at 8.30am for a funeral service at PCEA Gathaithi Church -Tetu – Nyeri starting from 10am followed by burial at her home in Gathaithi next to Gathinga Primary School.

Family, friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Emakaka Village from 3.00 p.m.

A funds drive will be held to meet the medical and burial costs today, Tuesday 25th February 2020 at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi at 5:30 p.m. and at his home in Emakaka Village at 4.00 p.m.

The cortege leaves Kakamega General Referral Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 27th Feb 2020 at 11.00 A.M. followed by a funeral service at Maraba ‘A’ Church of God.

Burial will be on Saturday the 29th February 2020 at his home in Emakaka Village starting 9.00 A.M.

Grandfather of Aviel Taji Mbai (Kansas City, KS — USA). Son in law of the late Isaac & the late Esther Chemjor of Kapchepkor, Baringo County. Requiem mass will be held on Thursday 27th Februrary 2020 at 4:00pm in St. Bernedette Catholic Church, Ngoingwa Thika.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University (KU) funeral home on Friday 28th February 2020 at 7am for burial and funeral service at his farm in Watuha in Kangema, Muranga County.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his house in Ngoigwa Estate, Thika at 6pm.

Son of the late Nason Oyuyo Owino and the late mama Nora Oyuyo. He was husband of Margaret Obiewa and father of Winnie Adhiambo, Kennedy Odhiambo, Jackie Atieno and Clifford Otieno. Brother of Shadrack Otieno, Pasibal Ochieng, Agnes Adhiambo, Jemick Auma, Sitega Awino and the late Gilbert Omondi. He has several grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting every day at the Bright Light home in Kisumu as well as the Yala home every day.

The cortege will leave the mortuary for the family home in Yala on 28th February ,2020 with a short stop-over at the Bright Light home in the morning.

Burial will be held on Saturday 29th February ,2020.
