It is with deep sorrow we announce the demise of James Wachira Waikwa on the 24th February 2020.

Son of the late Obadiah Waikwa Muchiri and the late Grace Wangechi of Kiruga Village, Othaya. Husband of the late Margaret Wangare.

Father of Mwangi and Wangechi, Harry and Judy, Wanjiku,Winnie, Saleh and Waikwa. Grandfather of many. Brother of the late Bedan Muchiri, the late Lina Wanjiku Wambugu, Samuel Kinya, Lucy Muthoni Kimondo, Loise Wanjiku Kibaba, the late Theresa Muthoni Wanyoike, Lucy Wambui, Charles Wambugu, Capt (Rtd.) Eutychus Muchiri, William Nyaga, Stephen Wachira, Elizabeth Wairimu Maina and Winnie Nungari Gikonyo.

Friends and Family are meeting at the family home, Harambee Estate, House no. HD2, daily from 6 pm and at Saint Andrew’s Church on 26th and 27th of February from 6 pm.

The burial ceremony will take place this Friday, 28th February at Langata Cemetery.

We regret to announce the sudden death of Inspector Kenneth Kirwa Kemei of Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Based at DCI Headquarters, Nairobi, which occurred on Monday 17/2/2020 through a tragic road accident at Gilgil along Nairobi-Nakuru Highway.

Son of Stephen K. Chepsiror and Elizabeth Chepsiror of Tulon Village, Emgwen Constituency, Nandi County. Husband of Juliana Jepchirchir Kemei (Teacher, Soba Secondary School,Tinderet). Father of Edlynn Jemutai Kemei of Aga Khan Nursery School, Eldoret and Ailynn Jerop Kernel. Brother of Isaiah, John, Monica, Evelyne and Pamela. Son-in-law of Jonathan Biwott and Dorcas Biwott of Kapchepsir in Nandi County. Brother-in-law of Lucy, Edwin, Elitan, Kelvin, Brigid, and Cynthia. Cousin of many.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at DCI Headquarters, Nairobi and at his father’s home at Tulon.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 27th February,2020.

Funeral service and burial will be held on Friday 28/2/2020 at his farm in Mlango Eldoret, Kapseret Constituency near Eldoret Airport from 9.00am.

Loving wife of the late Samuel Mwangi Kinyanjui (Kaniaru). Daughter of the late Mwangi Kuria and the late Wambui Mwangi. Sister of the late Martha Wanjiku Kang’ethe, the late Daniel Kuria, Michael Mugo, the late Paul Ndirangu, Virginiah Njeri and Samuel Kariuki. Mother of Susan Njeri, Joseph Kinyanjui, Sabina Wambui, Martha Wanjiku, Sarah Gathoni, Peter Maina, Virginiah Njeri and Lucy Wairimu.

Friends and family are meeting daily at Blue Springs Hote (Thika Road) as from 5 p.m.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home (Thika Road) on Friday 28th February 2020 at 9.00 a.m. for her Hanna home in Karinga Village, Kinyona Sub-Location, Kigumo Division in Muranga County where it will be laid to rest.

Daughter of the late Zakayo Kabiru and Zipporah Waitherero. Loving wife of David Gatere of Buruburu Phase I. Mother of Agnes VVambui (TSC), Elizabeth Waitherero (Kenya Railways), Michael Murimi (Keroche), Joyce Nyambura (Nairobi River Primary), the late George Kabiru and Edwin Njoroge (Electricals). Sister of the late Samson Karingi, the late Timothy Gitau, and the late Titus Mbuthia. She was blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Buruburu Phase I, 123 big numbers and at Tumaini house 5th Floor.

There will be a memorial service on Wednesday 26/02/2020 at ACK St. James Church Buruburu from 3pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Memorial Mortuary (KU Referral hospital) on Friday 28/02/2020 at 7.30 am for the funeral service at ACK St. Stephens Thengeini Church, and burial at her home in Mutuango village, Muranga County.

The only daughter of the late Edward Kinyua Karugu and Mercy Wamuyu Karaya. Niece to James Muriuki, Patrick Muchoki, Button Mugo, Aunties Eunice Nyawira, Ann Ngima, late Jane Gathoni, Sheromith Wambere, Charity Wangari, Sheromith Wanjiru, Purity Wangui. Sister in law of Jasan Mbugua, Charles Macharia. Uncles; Ben Muthokia, Mbugua Muthokia,Joseph Mugi, Aunties; Ruth Nduta and Tabitha Wanjiru.

She met her death on 18/02/2020 after being shot by thugs on her way home. She was a business lady at Mackon market Mombasa.

Family and friends are meeting at 6pm at Precious Joint hotel, Mombasa and at Rabi Villa hotel Ngara Nairobi.

The cortege leaves JM Memorial hospital mortuary Ol Kalou on Friday 28/02/2020 at 8am and thereafter burial at the same day at Munyeki village, Ol Kalou sub county.

Sister in law of the late Stephen and Esther Kibui, Papias and Isabella Mathenge, Joram and. Watetu Theuri, the late Joshua and Gladys Gikaru, Helina and the late Joel Njoroge. She was Aunty, Cucu and Maitu A friend of many.

Prayer meetings are being held daily at PCEA Muteero Church Karen from 6pm. Memorial Service will be on Sunday, 1st March 2020, at PCEA Muteero from 3pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma along Mbagathi Road at 8am on Tuesday 3rd March 2020, for a Funeral Service at PCEA Muteero at 10am followed by burial at her home in Muteero, Karen

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic death of Eng. Kiambi Murithi in a traffic accident along Maua – Meru road in the early hours of 20th February 2020.

He was the well-loved son of Elder Eng. John Murithi, Director – Jomo Kenyatta Foundation and Judith Murithi of Maxfuel Supplies. Kiambi was husband of Florence Murithi. He was son-in-law of Eng. Dennis and Mary Okeyo of Oyugis. Brother of Mwenda Murithi and May Murithi. Grandchild of the late Elder Jediel Chabari and Phyllis Karimi of Ruthumbi village in Kithangari location, and the late Francis Mugira and Bridget Karimi of Kionyo market. He was beloved nephew of many.

Family and friends are meeting at San Valencia on Monday 24 February, 2020 and at St. Andrews P.C.E.A church on Tuesday 25 February, 2020 starting from 5:00pm.

Kiambi shall be laid to rest on Thursday 27 February 2020. The cortege leaves Meru County level 5 hospital at 8am.The funeral service shall be held at Kariene P.C.E.A church in Kithangari at 10am. Interment shall follow at the family home in Ruthumbi village, Kithangari sublocation in Meru county.
