It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Junius Mbogo (Uma) which occurred on 21st Feb 2020.

Uma as we all fondly called him was the loving son of the late Johana Munyutu and late Eunice Runji. Cherished husband of the late Mary Wangai. Father and a pillar of Leah Nyaga, John & Beth, Patrick, Eunice & John, Jane & the late Joseph, Nancy & Dr. Gichangi, Irene & Lawrence, Florence & Richie, and Douglas Mwaniki. He was Uma to many and great grandfather to many. Beloved brother of the late Abija, Zipporah, the late Neleah, the late Loise, Jonathan, late Grace, Marjorie and Dorothy.

Friends and relatives are meeting at all saints Cathedral starting Tuesday 25 Feb to Thursday 7 Feb from 5:00 pm.

Uma will be laid to rest on 28th Feb at his home in Gatunduri Embu County.

Beloved Junius Mbogo rest in peace in the arms of your creator.

Robert is survived by his wife Jane Wanjiru, and sons Kelvin Migwi, Keith Njoroge and daughter in-law Emma Muli and granddaughter Femi Wanjiru. Brother of Rose, Pauline, Elizabeth, Jacinta, David, John, and Ephantus.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Kiini, Mukangu for funeral arrangements.

He will be laid to rest at his home in Kiini, Embu County on Friday 28/02/2020.

Mwalimu may have rested, but his lion spirit remains with us.

Beloved husband of Beatrice Wathiha. He was the son of the Late William Mwai and Late Beth Wairimu Mwai, Father of Grace Wairimu, Morris Mwai &James Karuga. He is brother of the Late Eunice Kethi Ngari, Eliud Mugo, the late Mary Karuana, Leah Wakabu Gachoki, Margaret Wangechi, & Benson Munge.

Family and friends are meeting, daily at his home at Karaini Village for Prayers & funeral arrangements from 4:00 p.m.

The cortege leaves Mt.Kenya Funeral Home on Saturday 29th February, 2020 for a funeral service at ACK St. Barnabas Church Karaini followed by a grave side service at his home in Karaini Village, Kirinyaga County.

The cortege leaves Sega Funeral Home on Friday 28th February 2020 at 9am for funeral Service at ACK Jera. Thereafter the body proceeds to her home Koduor Lela for an overnight vigil.

The burial ceremony will take place at the said home on 29th February 2020 as from 10 am.

The cortege leaves Nakuru War Memorial Hospital Mortuary on Sunday March 1st 2020, and burial will take place on Monday March 2nd 2020 at her home Kiamokama Village, Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii County.

Mother of Julia Nkatha Kithinji, Mary Kagwiria Mama, Stella Nthiira Julius Kiogora (County Government of Nyeri), Jane Ntimi Muriungi (Bishop Lawi Imathiu Pry. School), Catherine Igoki Mbaabu (Mitunguu) and Peter Gitonga (NCBA Bank Kenya).
