It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of Gods Will that we announce the sudden death of Mr. Benson Mugo Kang’ethe on 23rd February 2020 following a fatal road accident which occurred at Kamtxti along the Thika -Sagana highway.

Loving son of Benson Kang’ethe, Jane Watiri Mugo and Susan Wambui Kang’ethe. Loving brother of Mary Wanjiru Karongo, Rebecca Nyambura Ambale, Thayu Kamau and Yvonne Watiri. Brother in law of Paul Karongo, Frank Ambale and Michelle Kamau. Adorable uncle of Natalie Watiri Kamau, Warren Kang’ethe Karongo, Christian Baraka Karongo, Alaine Njeri Ambale and Liora Ayuma Ambale. Grandson of the late Mr & Mrs Thayu Kamau Kabugi and the late Mr and Mrs Benson Mugo.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his parent’s home in Ruai from Monday 24th February 2020 starting 6pm and at All Saints Cathedral. Nairobi on Tuesday 25th February, Wednesday 26th February and Thursday 27th February 2020 starting 05:30pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There will be a memorial service held on Friday 28th February, 2020 at ACK ST Marks, Ruai from 11:00am.

The cortege leaves Montezuma and Monalisa Funeral home – Kabati -Thika Road on Saturday 29th February, 2020 at 7:00am for the funeral and burial service to be held in Kayuyu village, Gikindu location (Local 20), Murang’a County.

She was the wife of John Musyimi, the mother of Taji, Tia, Tami and Thando. She was the daughter of the late Mercy Wambui and sister to Herman Gitonga (Tosh). Daughter-in-law to Mr. Patrick Mbuii Musyimi and Mrs. Teresia Wanjiku Musyimi, sister in law to Jacque, Francis and Muyu, niece to Peris Wangari and a friend to many.

Memorial service will be on Tuesday, 25th February 2020, 2pm at Mamlaka Hill Chapel (UoN Main Campus).

The cortege will leave KU (Kenyatta University) Funeral Home -along Thika road at 8am on Wednesday, 26th February 2020, for burial at Kyevaluki, Kangundo location.

The main fundraising is scheduled to take place on Tuesday the 25th of February 2020 in Nyamira at the Kenya Industrial Estates (opposite the Main Nyamira Matatu Stage) and in Nairobi at the City Magistrate Court I in City Hall.
