Sister of Joyce Wangui Jumutah, Jemimah Muthoni, Rose Waruga, Salome Wangui, the late Lydiah Wangari, Ruth Wangari, Mary Mumbi and the late Loise Njeri. Sister in law of Christopher Kamau, the late Joseph Mungai, Pauline Wambui, Sr. Ruguru, Billy Muhia Gatama, Stephen Ndungu Ngubiah among others. Grandmother of Samuel, Ruth Wambui, Morris, Jane, Eric, Dennis, Dominic, John, Grace and Jane, Great Grand Mother of Roman and Taji. She is auntie and cousin of many.

Family and friends are meeting at her home daily for prayers and funeral arrangement at 4pm.

The cortege leaves Kenya University Mortuary on Thursday 31st October, 2019 at 8am for funeral service and burial at their farm in Kariru Village, Gachika Sub-location.

Cousin of the Mukeku’s, Simu’s, Mathi, Kyengo’s, Gregory’s, Kivanguli’s, Mbindyo’s, and Mwakavi’s among others. Aunt of the late Mutuku, Lucy, Kaniaru, Kelvin, Ann Gregory, Sammy Nduku, Chichi, Ndeve, Brigitte, Belinda, Catherine, Anita, John Bosco, Papa among others. The cortege will leave KU funeral home on Tuesday 5th November 2019 at 7.00am for burial at her home in Kilalani Village, Kangundo.

Daughter of Margaret Wanjiru Kariuki of Ngong. She is survived by her lovely sons, Philip Wambugu, James Wambugu, Andrew Wambugu, Nicholas Wambugu — all in USA.

Daughter-in-law of the late John Philip Gathuri and late Judith Gathuri. Was former spouse of P.J. Wambugu and sister-in-law of the late Gad & Lucy Wamuti, Nellie & Peter Thuo Gathuri, Catherine & Kenneth Wakarera Gathuri, Esther & Ben Mbugua Gathuri, Humphrey & Beatrice Gitari.

Friends and relatives are meeting at All Saints Cathedral (Trinity Side) on 30/10/19, 31/10/19 and 1/11/19 from 530 p.m.— 8.00 p.m.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on 8/11/19 at 8.30 a.m. The funeral service will be at the All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Friday 8/11/19 at 10.00 a.m.
