It is with profound sorrow that we announce the brutal and sudden passing of Gerald W Kinoti on 7th September, 2019. He was the proprietor of Kim’s Integrated Clinic and Rehabilitation Centre in Meru.

Son of the late Nahashon M’Ngaruthi and late Elizabeth Muthoni M’Ngaruthi. Son-in-law of the late M’Mutungi Rithurui and Daina M’Mutungi. Beloved husband of Zipporah Gakii Kinoti. Loving father of Anthony G Kinoti (KNH), Hellen Kendi (Meru), Purity Kinoti (Nairobi), Betty Karimi (Mahali Mzuri, Maasai Mara) and Leon Muthuri (Meru). Brother of the late Erastus Muriungi, Justus Majau, Joseph Gikunda and Francis Riungu. Brother-in-law of the late Kiruki and Grace, Solomon and Lydia, Mary and Mbae and the late Muriungi and Kagendo. Grandfather of Nelson, Nickson, Nathaniel, Judith, Christine, Kayla, Patience, Makena and Shawn.

Family and friends are meeting at St. Andrew’s Church Nairobi on Tuesday 10th, to Thursday 12th September 2019 from 5.00pm to 7.30pm and Meru Safari Hotel, same timings.

Funeral service will be held at Ntakira Day Secondary School in Gikumene on Saturday 14th September, 2019. He will be laid to rest at Kiringa Village, Gitimbene, Meru.

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

We celebrate the life of Engineer Peter Muhoro Karanja who was promoted to glory on 8th September, 2019.

Loving husband of Mercy Wanjira Muhoro, father of Counsellor Perpetua Nyambura Muhoro, Major Wallace Karanja Muhoro (KDF), Tabitha Mumbi Muhoro (Nairobi University), Jeniffer Wairimu Muhoro (CUEA). Father-in-law of Catherine Risianto Karanja. Grandfather of Chloe Wanjira, Mercy Wanjira, Peter Muhoro, Charisse Naitupuny, Jasmine Nduta and many other grandchildren. Son of the late Wallace Karanja and the late Damaris Gatheru Karanja. Brother of the late Samuel Nguri Karanja, Hannah Wanjira Mwangi, Isaac Wachira Karanja, Joseph Waweru Karanja, Grace Muthoni Kinyua, Charles Mwangi Karanja, M uhoro Karanja Peninah Wangari Mwai and Dorcas Wanjiru Maina.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Lower Kabete (Nairobi Children’s rescue center) and at Emmacra Hotel Nairobi for prayers and thanksgiving.

Our beloved father will be laid to rest on Saturday 14th September, 2019 at the family farm at Kibeche village, Ithekahuno sub-location, Aguthi Location, Tetu constituency, Nyeri County. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University mortuary on Saturday 14th September 2019 at 7:00am, for a funeral mass and burial at Kibeche village at 11:00am.

The cortege leaves Machakos Funeral Home on Saturday 14th September, 2019. Funeral service and burial will take place on the same day at his rural home in lshamba village, Kiimakiu, Kilome, Makueni County starting 11.00am.

Brother of Maurice, Augustine, Alphonse, Isabel, Laura, Margret, Sephrine, Apolonia, Catherine, the late Edmond, Nicholas and Henry. Brother-in-law of Margaret, Ezekiel, Boas, Milka, Loise, Dorothy, Nora, Jacinta, Christine, Priscilla among others.

The cortege leaves Mukumu Mission Mortuary on 12th September, 2019 at 8:00am to his home at Shisalachi village, Shiseso Sub-location, ldakho Location. There will be a service at Shiseso Catholic Parish, the same day and overnight stay till Friday.

Burial will take place on Saturday 14th September, 2019.

Grandfather of Nillan and Aiden. Father-in-law of Shirlylen and Kirui. Son-in-law of the late Samuel Mila Thambu and Cecilia Mwikali of Migwani. Step-son of Kasiva Sanda. Brother of Stephen Masau, Bonface Ndunda, Stephen Mulinge, Frank Kioko, Rose Mbula, Rachael Mbinya, Alice Nzula, Petronilla Ndanu, Agnes Kaluki, Catherine Kalondu. Mirriam Kiio, Rachael Ngami, Kaloe Sanda, Nthemba Sanda the late and Christine Minuo.

Brother-in-law of the late John Munuve, Muli Munuve the late, James Munuve, Daniel Munuve, Sixtus Nyamai and Mutua. Father-in-law of Rael Koki and Stella Munini. He was an uncle of many and Grandfather of Brian Muuo, Paul Musyoka, Briton Nzomo, Purity Mutheu, Zarry, Angel Ndunge and Emanuel Mwendwa.

The cortege leaves RAM Hospital, Kisii on Friday 13th September, 2019 at 5:00pm and the burial will be on 14th September 2019 at his home in Kyavani village.

The cortege leaves Bishop Okoye Funeral Home on the 12th of September, 2019 to his residential home in Thika for prayers. Thereafter, it will proceed to his village home for burial on the 14th September, 2019 at Mulusiola in Kakamega.
