It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Jeremiah Oulu Oluoch on 4th September, 2019 after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Athanasio Oluoch Ogada and the late Mary Awino Oluoch. Loving Husband of Joan Albertine Wandera. Father of Marvin Emman Oulu (USIU Nairobi), Ivy Awino Oulu (The University of Nairobi) and Lera Nicole Oulu (Acacia Pri. School). Son-in-law of Joshua Geoffrey Wandera and the late Ruth Betty Wandera. Brother of the late Patrick Ogada, Lona Oketch, Salome Oluoch, Filgona Auma, Fredrick Naum, Rose Oluoch and Naomi Oluoch. Brother-in-law of Caroline Wandera, Kenneth Wandera, Margaret Wandera, Morry Wandera, Mark Wandera and Yvette Wandera. Loving Uncle to many.

A major fundraising to offset the hospital bill and funeral expenses will be held on Thursday 12th September, 2019 at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi from 5:30pm.

There will be a Memorial service at CITAM Valley Road on Thursday 19th September, 2019.

Burial will be held at his parents’ home in Kisumu Karateng’ on Saturday 21st September, 2019.

Mother of Wambugu, the late Marangia, Wanjiru, the late Mirobi, Ndian’gui, Mrs Kiigi (USA), Pastor Kiboi, Kariuki, Njanji, the Late Kibaara, the late Nguyo and Nyakweya. Grandmother, Great-grandmother and Great-Great-grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Highlands Platinum Restaurant, 1st Floor, Silver room, Commerce House, Moi Avenue, next to Kenya Cinema at 6.00pm.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Friday 13th September for funeral service and burial at her son’s farm, in Mailu-inya Nyahururu.

Sibling of Peter Mwangi Njoroge, the late Miriam Wambui, the late Wanjiru Maim, the late John Henry Muthaka, Jane Waithira Mwangi, Peter lkinya Njoroge, and the late David Wainaina Njoroge. Loving Mother of Joseph Maina, Daniel Mwangi, Jane Wanjiru, Francis Kuria, Moses Gathu, David Kilo, Hannah Wangari, Purity Wangui, John Muthaka, Simon Ndung’u and Peter lkinya. Mother-in-law of many and a loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at her home in Matuiku, Mwenje and at Norwich Union in Nairobi as from 5.30pm.

The cortege leaves Nyahururu Hospital Mortuary for a funeral service, on Friday 13th September, 2019 at 8.00am. The burial service will take place on the same day at her home Ngarua, Matuiku from 11am.

Son of the late Richard Muthua Douglas and the late Abigail Wangui Douglas. Brother of the late Anna Wambui Douglas-Muggier, John Ngumi, Paul Mburu Douglas, the late Eugene Wathingira Douglas, Caroline Amanda Hanson, Anne Njeri Douglas, Richard Mungai Muthua and Yvonne Wambui Muthua. Father of Caroline Wangui and Erica Bridgette Wangui.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday 13th September, 2019 at 8.30am, for Lang’ata Crematorium where a service will be held at 10.00am, followed by cremation.

Mother of Michael Kabui, Reuben Kariuki, Peris Nyambura, the Late Lilian Wairimu, Martha Muringo, William Ndirangu, Joseph Turu, Samuel Mwangi, Rebecca Muthoni and Ibrahim Maia. Mother-in-law of Wanjiru Kabui, the late Ngendo Kabui, Wangari Kariuki, Wangari Ndirangu, Elder Annie Mutembei, Margaret Mwangi, Phillip Githinji and Wangu. Grandmother and Great-grandmother to many.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at Holy Family Basilica Nairobi, St Faustina Hall at 6.00pm and at the Mutembei Family residence in Kagundu-ini Nyeri at 4:30pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

Son of the late Mzee Harun Owiti and Mama Caren Achola Owiti; beloved husband of Mitchel Atieno Otieno, daughter of the late Hannington Odhacha and Mama Penina Odhacha of Kanyada Kanyabala. Brother of Elly Owiti, Principal Gingo Secondary School, Boaz Owiti-Sikri Technical Training Institute for the Blind and Deaf, Mikal Owiti and the Late Charles Owiti, formerly Ringa Boys Secondary. Father of Harriet Otieno of Kendu Muslim Secondary school, June Otieno of Nyambare Secondary School, Topher Otieno, formerly of Maseno University, Wolfgang Otieno of Maseno University, Stephan Otieno of Kenyatta University, Lavine Otieno of Coast Polytechnic and Britta Otieno of Maseno University.

Father-in-law of Maureen Ogenga Otieno of Rae Girls Secondary School and grandfather of Alpha Lerato, Miva Ann and Alma Lethabo. Uncle of Eng. Father of Munuve, Eric, Simon, Kelly (USA), John, Mwinzi, Maluki, the late Meki, Belita, the late Kivivya, Kiluti, Agnes, Kaingi, Kainda and Mbula. Brother of the late Kalungwa, the late Saa, the late Kivaa, the late Musyoka and Mwikali.

Grandfather of Mwaniki, Dany, Mwanzia, Brian (USA), Morris, Kasonge, Joy, Mwanza, Kyalo, Maurine, Lucky, Musyimi, Kathio, Lydia among others. Great-grandfather of thirty three (33) grandchildren.

Funeral arrangement meetings are being held at Garden Square daily from 5.30pm and at his home in Kyamboo village, Migwani, Mwingi West Sub-County, Kitui County.

He will be laid to rest at his home on Saturday 14th September, 2019.
