Beloved mother of Rosalind Njoka-Muketha and the late Kaburu Muketha, Belinda and Henry Muthengi Njoka, Janice and Lacton Murithi Njoka, Florence and the late Morris Munene Njoka and Ann and John Muchunku Njoka. Sister of Joyce Kararu, Gatinku Mukobwa, Njagi Mukobwa, Mutegi Mukobwa, Virginia Ciagitari, the late Kaari Kauah and the late Njeru Mukobwa. Sister-in-law of the late Mwathani Mbaka, the late Charles Nkari, the late Mutegi Kiraithe, Lydia Ciamwari, Janet Nkima, Mbuba Kiraithe and Kellen Njagi. Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at 5.00pm at Antonio’s Grill Nairobi and at her home in Kiamuriuki, Chuka.

The cortege leaves PCEA Chogoria Hospital mortuary on Tuesday, 14 May 2019, at 9.00am for church service at PCEA Kiamuriuki Church at 10.00am. Thereafter burial will take place at her home in Kiamuriuki, Chuka, Tharaka-Nithi.

Mother to Jane Ominde, Maurice Bikokwa, Prof Kerrie Wakhungu (Indiana, USA), Grace Kisaka, Mary Khalayi, Moses Khakina (Atlanta, USA), Margaret Cruther (California, USA) and Pamela Lutta. Mother In-law to late Richard Ominde, Milcah Bikokwa, Dr. Phoebe Wakhungu, Kisaka Wanjala, Josphat Opata, Eunice Khakina, Merlin Crutcher and late Wilson Lutta. Doting grandmother (Kukhu) to 37 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.

Sister to Jeridah Namarome, Herbert Simiyu, late Mary Baraza, Edward, Wanjala, Jesse Masika, late Japhred Khwasia, Judith Wanambiro and late Jane Nanjala. Sister In-law to Stephen Wekesa, the late Henry Khisa, Tom Mulongo, Walter Bikokwa, Priscillah Wolayo, Risper Naliaka, Loice Sakwa and `Senge’ Mutonyi. Niece to Joseph Wandabwa and Tony Nasirembe. Cousin to the late Justus Mbago, George Lusweti, Dishon Waswa, Alfred Muse, Peter Wakhungu, Moses Narwenyi among many others.

The cortege will depart Cottage Funeral Home, Kiminini on 9th May 2019 at 10am.

Burial will be held on 11th May 2019 at her home in Bunambo, Kiminini Scheme, Tongaren Sub-County.

The cortege leaves Alupe Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 9th May, 2019 at 10.00am for a requiem mass at Chakol Catholic Church.

Burial will take place on Saturday 11th May, 2019 at his home in Okokur Village, Adungosi Sub-Location, Okame Location, Chakol Division, Teso South Sub- County, Busia County.

His final resting place will be at his family home in Marindi Village next to Marindi Girls’ Sec. Sch, Homabay County on Friday 24th May, 2019 from 9:00am.
