Loving husband of Bellah Wagatwe Wanjuki and doting father of John and Evelyn Wanjuki (USA), Rosemary and the late Major (Rtd) Kinuthia Murugu, Norman and Gwendoline Ki ua, Peter Kariuki Wanjuki (USA) and Rache urugi and Dr. Rufas Kanyogo. Grandfathe 13 and great-grandfather of 3.
Brother of the late Elisheba Wangeci Mwangi,Alice Njoki Nderitu, Marion Wanjiku Wanderi, Nancy Wamucii Kahiro and Mary Wanjugu Ngari.

It is with profound shock and sorrow that we announce the sudden death of our beloved Christopher Tsuma after a cardiac arrest on Saturday October 8, 2016.
He was the son of the late Brown Aleka Tsuma and Mama Rosemary Tsuma.
Chris is survived by his two sons: Roark and Thomas. He was a brother of Margaret, Gray, the late Donnah, Green, Beauttah, Faith Rose, Clive, Junior. Leah, Rebecca, Cyprian, Nicodemus, Victoria, William, Anne, Rhoda, and Idah.
Uncle, colleague and friend to many.
Chris was formerly a sports sb-editor and the Daily Nation, The Star and lastly a lecturer at the United States International University, Kenyatta University and Narok University.
Funeral arrangements/meetings are being held daily at Antonio’s (Family) from 5pm and the Holy Family Basilica, Cardinal Otunga Plaza (Friends/Colleages) at St Faustina Room 7th Floor daily from 5pm.
Burial date will be announced later.

 

The media fraternity is mourning the sudden death of Chris Tsuma. The veteran sports journalist, who worked at the Daily Nation for over a decade, breathed his last on Saturday at the Komarock Modern Hospital in Nairobi. He was 50.

Tsuma had been rushed to the hospital by family members after complaining of chest pains while working at the gym. He was pronounced dead on arrival.

His body was later transferred to Chiromo mortuary. At the time of his death, Tsuma was a lecturer at KU, Narok and Mount Kenya universities.

Elias Makori, who worked with Tsuma for many years, remembered him as “an upright, hard working and no-nonsense professional”.

We the family of the late Rev. Zipporah Njeri Njanga wish to thank the Almighty
God for her life and the wonderful years we shared with her till she went to be
with the Lord on 15th August 2015.
We wish to thank most sincerely all those who in one way or another have
offered us their unwavering support: the Moderator of the General Assembly
of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA), the Secretary General and
entire PCEA Head Office; PCEA Mukurwe-ini Presbytery; PCEA Ndia-ini
Parish; PCEA Kikuyu Township Parish; PCEA Nairobi West Parish and PCEA
St. Andrews Parish.
Special thanks also goes to Dr. Juzaar Hooker and Dr. Jonathan Wala of Aga
Khan Hospital, PCEA Kikuyu Hospital, the funeral organising committees in
Nairobi and Gakindu, relatives, friends and the entire community of Gakindu for
their love, generosity and support during her illness and the period following
her passing away.

late Jonesi, the late Hannah, Rhoda and the late Shiviriti. Father of Margaret, Joyce
(Tanzania), Patrick, Alan, Jimmy, Harold, Abigael and Jacqueline. Father-in-law of Jason,
Arthur (Tanzania), Damary, Ruth, Phoebe, Lucy, Pamela, Kate, John, Peter. Grandfather
of Michael (USA), Emmanuel (USA), Walter, Kidada (USA), Waridi (Tanzania), Sonny
(USA), Linda (USA), Millicent, Vincent, Raymond, Fiona, Gabriel (USA), Janet, Doris,
Lisa, Clifford, Rene, Cynthia, Audrey, Ashley, Conrad, Zinzi (USA), Balucci, Imani and

A memorial church service will be held at Friends International Center (Quakers)
Ngong Road on Wednesday 31st August from 2 p.m.
There will be a fundraising meeting to be held after the service at the same venue.
The body is at the Kakamega mortuary and will be moved to his home in Shitochi
village for viewing on Thursday 1st September. Burial and funeral service will be held
from 10 a.m. on Saturday 3rd September, at his home in Shitochi village, Khayega
location, Kakamega.
