It is with profound grief and humble acceptance of God’s
will that we announce the passing on of Richard Kamutu
Kariuki of connection Village Embakasi and formerly
Kamulu Academy which occurred on 27/08/2016 after a
short illness. Beloved husband of Julia Wanjiru Kamutu.
Son of late Reuben Kariuki and the late Njoki Kariuki.
Son-in-law of the late Richard Mwangi and the late
Monica Wangui Mwangi. Father of Caroline Njoki, Dennis
Kariuki, Kevin Kariuki and Chris Mwangi.
Brother of Joseph Kigathi, the late Ndungu Kariuki, Edith
Waitiki, Samuel Wachira. John Mwai, the late Catherine
Wangechi, Daniel Karani and Tabitha Muthoni. Brother-inlaw
of Dr. Peter Mathenge, the late Wambui Warugongo,
William Mwaniki (Itegi), Sammy Gichuhi, the late Duncan
Ndegwa, King’ori Mwangi, Gatiki Mwangi and Mary Kirigo.
Grandfather of Ronnie Kamutu, Jamian Kamutu, Blessing
Wanjiru and an uncle of many.
Friends and relative are meeting at connections Village
(Fahrenheight) Embakasi and Holy Family Basilica on
Wednesday 31/8/2016 and Thursday 1/9/2016 from 5.30
p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Friday 2/9/2016 at 9.00 a.m. Funeral Service and burial
will be held from 11.00 A.m. at Ruai.
