It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Mama Jane Namarome (Omumoyayo) of Birunda village, Saboti on 8th Feb 2017. Formerly of Elys Chemicals Ltd. Daughter of the late John and Regina Maundende of Miroki village Saboti. Wife of Peter Nyongesa of Birunda village. Daughter-in-law of the late Saul Wephulu and the late Repa Nanjala. Cherished mother of Martin Wafula (Loreto Matunda), Lucy Nyongesa (Belgium) Pastor Benta Nyongesa (Repentance and Holiness), Tom Nyongesa, Connie Nafula, Everlyne Nangila, Dorothy, Jacob, Khaemba James, Jackline Aboko and Repa. Sister-in-law of the late William Wakwabubi, Esther Kundu, Paul Namasaka, George Muhwana, Wafula Wa Musamia (Cotu). Sister of Tom Wanyonyi, the late Nakhumicha, the late Morris. Bernard Maundende (formerly KARI), Mary Mulongo, Alice, the late Michael, Emily, Eunice, Tom Soita, Nasimiyu, Esile, Benteta Nekesa ( formerly Kilimo hse) Janerose, Omani, Patrick Simiyu, the late Joash Wasike, Abiud Wasike (former PS) Walter Wasike (former DC) Kitui Mwalakha (Sicheyi village). Auntie of Mama Jane Wanjala Kuloba (Narok University), Rose Wasike (Registrar Sports), Prophetess Purity Echakara Namarome (God’s Kingdom Generals International), Christine Wasike (CO Trade Bungoma County Goverment) Isabella, Paul, Hellen Naliaka, Clare Wafula, Mulati Khamala, Mary among others. Mother-in-law of Bernice Kimani (Ministry of Agriculture – Kitale), James William (America), and Dr. Harriet Nabushawo (Makerere University). Grandmother of Paul, Doreea, Kimani, Bryan,Veronica (Belgium) Collins, Cecil, Clifford, Regina, Kevin (Germany) Collins (Germany) Melvin (Makini School).

Friends and relative continue to meet at her home in Birunda, Kawangware (Coast Stage) and at Nairobi Railway Club (Uhuru Park) at 5.30pm daily main harambee on Wednesday 15th at the same venue. The cortege will leave Chiromo mortuary on Thursday 16th for mass at St Peter’s Clavers Church at 10.00am thereafter proceed to Kawangware enroute to Birunda home Saboti Trans Nzoia for final resting on Saturday 18^th February 2017.
