He was the son of the Late Keneth Mbogo Kauma and the Late Roselly Kathanje Mbogo, husband to Lucy Njoki Kauma (Principal St. Peter’s Kathakwa Secondary School).
Father to Jim Gitonga Kauma (Clerk County Assembly of Embu), Denis Njeru (Priva nuts company), Josephine Wambura (Kirinyaga University College), and Levis Muchangi (Kenyatta University), Father-in-Law to Dorcas Koki Gitonga and and Lilian Kagendo.
Brother to Irene, Lilly, Gillian, Flora, Margaret and George Mwaniki grandfather to Clinton Munene, Sonia Njoki and Shawn Muriithi.
Daily prayers are being held at Mr Kauma’s Miringari Village near Kathanjuri market in Kyeni South Ward at 4pm and Prime Hotel in Embu town at 5:30pm.

Mwalimu was a former teacher at St. Peter’s Kathakwa Secondary School Kibugu and immediate teacher of Kamiyu Secondary School Embu.

Beloved daughter of the late Mr. Benson Mithamo and Mama Esther Wanjira Mithamo. Step daughter of Beth Ruguru Mithamo. Daughter-in-law of the late Njue Ngano and Mama Jessica Njue. Loving mother of Sharon L. Mukami Njeru of Cheriz Properties Co. Ltd Nairobi and Chris Ngumo Njeru (student at KMTC Nyeri). Sister of Nicassus, Bishop Vanessa of London, Tabitha, Paul, Frank, Tony, Peter, Mureithi, Bishop Njeru, Naomi, Wanja, Evans, Charity, Joyce and Carol. In order to offset a huge bill of Sh1.5 million, family and friends are meeting daily at her home Difathas, her parents’ home in Kiang’ombe, Kirinyaga County, in Embu teachers, friends and church members are meeting daily at Canaan Guest house for prayers and funeral arrangements and in preparation for a fund raiser on Wednesday 5th of April 2017. While in Nairobi meetings are going on at Holy Family Basilica with a fund raiser slated for Thursday, 6th of April at the same venue.

The cortege leaves Kibugi Funeral home Kutus on Saturday, 8th of April at 9.00am for funeral service at Difathas Primary School, thereafter interment at her home near the school.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Opondo Oduol of Alego Kaugagi Nina, Uhifwa village after a brave battle with cancer borne with fortitude, grace and humour.

Son of the late John Oduol, the late Mama Sylvia Odongo and Mama Rose Anyango. Husband of the late Dorcas Atieno Migundo and Lilian Dorah Akech Omondi. Son-in-law of the late Mzee Epanaito Migundo and Mama Tabia Migundo of Sakwa Awendo, and Mzee Samuel Omondi and Mama Zilpah Omondi of Nyakach Kasaye. Loving father of Caroline, Nixon, the late Gordon, Josephine Oguta, Sheila, Jim, Sam, the late Lewid, Laura, Lamech, and Lynn.
