Son of the late Clement Mundui and late Mary Waithera.

 

Beloved husband of Mrs Rose Wanjiru Macharia. Brother of the late Joseph Njoroge, late Monica Wairimu, late Paul Muturi and John Kibe.

 

Loving dad of Martin, Bernard, Bernadette, Justin, Paul and Dominic.

 

Father in law of Lucy Wathome, Monica Kamande, Teresia Kamau and Millicent Mururi.

 

Grand-dad of Cynthia, Mwaura, Bridgit, Anthony, Elsie, Natasha, Patienc, Patricia, Samuel, Mercy and Giddel.

 

Friends and relatives are meeting for burial arrangements on Tuesday 13th, Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th December 2016 from 5pm to 8pm at All Saints Cathedral and daiy at his home in Munyaka, Cherangani.

 

The cortege leaves Cherangani Nursing Home in Kitale at 8am for funeral service to be conducted at his home in Munyaka on Saturday 17th December 2016.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce promotion to glory of Dorcas Wanjiku Wambugu (Nyina wa Mwaniki) of Mweiga.

 

Wife of James Wambugu Mwaniki. Mother of Isaac Mwaniki, Mathew Kinyua and Duncan Macharia.

 

Mother in-law of Rahab Wahito and Pauline Wanjiru. Grandmother of Christopher Wambugu Mwaniki, Mark Nderitu Mwaniki and Anita Wambui Kinyua.

 

Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Wendiga Mweiga Nyeri County and in Sandton Palace Hotel Taveta Road off Accra Road, Nairobi.

 

She will be laid to rest on Friday 16 December, 2016.

 

The cortege leaves Nyeri Consolata Mathari Hospital on the same date at 8:30 am for funeral service at her home Wendiga village, Mvveiga, Nyeri County at 11am.

1945 – 1st December 2016

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mama Filgona Ngasi Ochola which occurred on 1st December 2016.

 

She was the daughter of the late Mzee Jonathan Ogada Okore and the late Mama Persila Magara of Nyahera-Karombo.

Wife of Francis Ochola Kamusa of Kanyagwal, Kano – Kisumu County.

Co-wife to Mama Helen Ochola and Pamela Ochola.

 

Mother of the late Joshua Ochola, Dr Washington Ochola of USAID — Africa Lead II, Charles Ochola of St Mary’s School, Japan, Dr Samuel Ochola of Kenyatta University, Lucia Auma and the late William Ochola.

 

Mother in-law to Caroline, Maureen, Albina, Sheila and Doris. Loving grandmother of Filgona Tana (formerly of Egerton University). Persila Magara (Egerton University), Charlyne (Simon Fraser University, Canada). Tamara (University of Nairobi). Innocent (St Lawrence University NY, USA). Willard (Uganda Martyrs Senior Secondary School, Kampala), Anne (Rae Girls’ School), Francis (Onjiko Secondary School), Christine and Ouko.

 

Step-mother to Tom, Jael, Emily, the late Judith, Agnes, Caroline, Edwin. Susan and John.

Her body leaves Star Mortuary Kisumu on Friday 16th December at 11am for a requiem mass at St Lewnorah Catholic Ngere Kagoro.

 

Burial will take place on Saturday 17th December 2016 starting at 9am at the family home in Wang’aya County (along the Awasi-Kisumu highway).

We, the family of the late Mrs. Margaret Mwangola, wish to express our sincere gratitude to the Almighty God for granting us strength, peace, comfort and favour throughout the period of mourning, for our beloved Mother and shining STAR whose light will never fade.

 

We extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all who stood by us during her illness, in death, and the final farewell. We shall forever cherish your generosity in all ways during this very difficult time.

 

Special acknowledgment and gratitude goes to the President of the Republic of Kenya H.E Hon Uhuru Kenyatta and the Deputy President H.E Hon William Ruto.

We remain humbled by the fellowship of Bishop Liverson Mng’oda and Retired Bishop Samson Mwaluda of ACK Taita Taveta Diocese and all Clergy who supported us, including Rev Githaiga, Rev Jackline Ngala and Rev Wanjau of St. Barnabas Church, Lang’ata. We are touched by the Choir from St. Barnabas who visited us daily in Lang’ata and Voi, and lifted us spiritually with their songs. We are indeed blessed to be your congregation.

 

We are extremely grateful to the Nairobi and Voi Funeral Committees led by Mr Saul Mwangola for their total dedication and to all the Relatives, In-Laws and Friends, including the extended Mwashimba, Mwangola, Owiti, Mwabili, Abdi-Weis and Kiplagat Families, who stopped by to condole with us, encouraged us and reached out through texy messages and other communication channels.

 

Special thanks to the CEO, Management, Doctors and Medical Staff of Nairobi Hospital for their compassion towards our mother.

Son of Luiza Wayodi of Engineering Supplies Limited. Step brother of the late Hellen Adede, loving grandson of the late Mr. & Mrs Wayodi ,darling nephew and cousin of many.

 

There will be a fund raising towards funeral arrangements on Friday 16th December 2016 at the Nairobi Railway Club from 4pm.

 

Memorial service will be held on Thursday 22nd December at St. Paul’s Catholic Church University Way at 2pm.

 

Burial will take place on Saturday 24th December in Bondo.
