Cherished daughter of the late Daniel Makau Mutua and Lucia Kavenya Mutua. Mother of Ann Mwikali and Joyce Kavenya. Lovely sister of Naomi Mbeneka, Wilham Muendo Daniel, Paul Ndunda Makau, Francisca Kalunde Madedo, Anne Koki Ikechi and Sabina Nzula Mwaro. Aunt of Rachael Wanda Ngogoyo. Daniel Ngogoyo, Lucy Kavenya Muendo, Daniel Makau Muendo, Zara Muendo, Sydney Kavenya Ndunda, Bonface Makau Ndunda, Daniel Madedo, Sarah Madedo, Nyevu Mwaro and Baya Mwaro. Sister in-law of David Ngogoyo, Charlotte Muendo, Elvina Ndunda, Richard Madedo. Innocent lkechi and Stephen Mwaro.

Friends and family are meeting daily at home in Kilifi at Mnarani and Lagooner. Them will be a fundraising on Thursday 5th January 2017 at Lagooner as from 5.30 pm.

The cortege leaves Pandya Memorial Hospital on Saturday 7/712017 for funeral service and burial the same day at Mtondia in Kilifi County.

The cortege left Mathari Mission Hospital at 8am on Thursday 22nd December, 2016 for a funeral service and burial to be held at her home, Muthaiga area, Ngangarithi Village, near Classic Hotel, Nyeri, starting at 10am.

Family and friends are meeting at All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st December 2016 at 6pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

We regret to announce the death of our beloved Sam Ngige Nyutu. Husband of Cecilia Wairimu and father of John Nyutu Ngige (JJ) and AJ Waweru Ngige.

Mother of Teresiah Wahu, Mary Gathoni, John Njenga, Sarah Nyambura, Jedidah Njeri Wandiba (U.S.A), Daniel Machara, Loise Wanjiru, Leonard Mbugua (Germany) and the late James Gitahi. Grandmother of Daniel Wandiba (Germany), Martin Njenga, Alice Wanjiku, Ann Muthoni, Lucy Wangui, Susan Wangui, Charles Ndegwa, Esther Njeri Mwangi (U.S.A), Isaac Daniel Wandiba (USA). Great grandmother of Daniel Wandiba and Fredrick Karanja.

Family and friends have been meeting daily at her home in Tiekunu village Ndeiya for funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Uplands Funeral Home, Nyambari, on Tuesday 10th January 2017 for funeral service and burial ceremony that will take place at her farm in Tiekunu village Ndeiya, Limuru near Ndung’u Njenga Secondary School. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mrs. Catherine Ciambuba Nkune of Muganjuki Village, Ndiruni-Chuka who passed away on December 30th 2016 after a short illness at Kyeni Mission Hospital.

Loving wife of Phineas Nkune Murang’a. Mother of Edwin Murithi, the late Kinyua Murang’a, Lorna Gatakaa, Violet Kawira and Lisbeth Murugi. Mother-in-law of Tarasila Murugi, Pasilio Njiru, Joseph Kagwima and Ashford Kithinji.

Daughter of the late Muchiri & the late Ciandigwa. Step-daughter of Beatrice. Sister-in-law of Dionisia, Doris Njoka, the late Bita & Machoro Murang’a. Sister of Abachi, Rev Douglas Njoka PCEA Kibichoi, Kagendo, Gatune, Wanja, Karimi, Munene, Kanyua and Gacheri. Auntie and grandmother of many.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are taking place at her home Muganjuki, Holy Family Basilica (Cardinal Otunga Hall) and Murithi’s Residence in Syokimau from 5pm everyday.

The Cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home (Embu) on Friday 6th 2017 at 9am.

Funeral service will be at PCEA Ibiriga Church Chuka same day from 11am. Thereafter, Catherine will be laid to rest at her home in as Muganjuki Village.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Mortuary Kisumu on January 6th 2017 for a mass at St Joseph’s Catholic Church Milimani, Kisumu, at 12noon and for a vigil stay and burial at his father’s home in Kano, Ombeyi, Kamagaga on Saturday 7th January 2017.

Mother of the late Agustine Alumasa, Phyllis Odera, Aggrey Mukanga, Edith Usagi, Esther Emoja, Hudson Mukanga, Wilkister Ominde and Kennedy Ominde. Sister of the late Hezekiah Lubanga, Zirah Miheso, Kenderi Olwali, Stanley Manono, Priscilla Etale, the late Tereza and the late Phonace Agonya. Burial takes place at her home in Madira Village in Vihiga County on Saturday 14th January, 2017 at 10am.
