It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that the family of Naftal Nyaribo Masese announces the sudden death of Brian Machoka Nyaribo on 1st January, 2017.

Son of Naftal Nyaribo (Formerly MoH Nairobi) and Mrs Eileen Moraa Nyaribo (Ruiru Kihunguro Secondary). Brother of Polycap Magati (Eastern Africa Policy Centre), Emmaculate Monchari (KCB Nairobi) and Lee Oroo Matogo (Kisii School). Grandson of William Masese, the late Tabitha Bosibori and Esther Kwamboka. Also grandson of late Oroo Mang’era and Eunice Bitutu of (Nyanchwa village). Nephew of Charles Masese (KENHA), Stephen Onchuru, Stephen Onserio, Aranda (GSU), Nyabando (Nairobi), Josphine, Gladys (NCC), Okirigiti Matogo, Joscah, Nyanchama, Charles Nyasetia and Lazarus Monda (Nyanchwa), Kizito (Nairobi), among others. Cousin of Kevin (USA), Maureen (USA), Matogo, Bosibori, Frank, Meshaack Orure (Masimba Secondary), Kirera (USA), Kemunto (Nairobi), Cyrus Ombati (Standard Group) among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Canaan Court- Membley and Garden Square – Nairobi for funeral arrangements as from 6pm.The main fundraising will take place on Tuesday 10th January at Membley and City Hall from 6pm.

The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on Thursday 12th January, 2017 for Kisii, Mosisa village for burial on Friday 13th January,2017.

1931 – 2016

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the demise of Jones Kakyema Mbinda of Kikima Village, Kyuu Location, Mbooni West Sub- County, Makueni County which occurred on 30th December 2016 at Sharom Hospital, Machakos.

Son of the late Thomas Mbinda Uvyu and the late Anna Ndunge Mbinda. Husband of Esther Mulondu. Father of Ndiso, Mbalu, Musembi, Kioko, Mwikali, Nduku and Mulee. Brother of the late Gedion Waita, the late Rael Mbithuka, Esther Samuel and Joseph Mbinda. Step-brother is Munyao, Muthee, Muli and Mueni among others. Father-in-law of Alice Ndiso, Susan Mbalu, Christine and Josephine Musembi, Catherine Kioko, Peter Ndunda and Joyce Mulee. Grand father of Nthenya, the late Mwaniki, Ndunge, Ndinda, Mumo, Ndungwa, Kimanthi, Mulondu, Kakyema, Mbinda, Wanza, Ndindi, Roma, Nduku, Lucky, Apple, Korna, Diva, Mwendwa, Keziah, Mbula, Kioko, Mueni, Mutinda, Mutindi, Mwikali and Gift. Great grandfather of many.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home at Machakos on 6th January 2017 9.30am for funeral service at Mukondeni SDA Church grounds and thereafter the brother will be laid to rest at his home.

 

James Makau Ndonye

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of James Makau Ndonye.

Son of the late Ndonye Nzau and Elizabeth Mutave. Husband of Mirriam Kanini. Father of Lucy Katumbi Njenga, Yvonne Mwende, Jonathan Ndonye and Coporal Michael Mulwa of Kenya Navy Base Mtongwe. Brother of Betty Wavinya, Nicholus Nzau and Christopher Mutua amongst others.

Meetings are being held daily at his Mumbuni – Manza home and the burial will be on Saturday 7th January 2017.

Grandfather of Treniece Thairu, Tierney Githaiga, John Thairu, Kate Wambui, Stacey Wangari, John Billy Kinuthia, John Ryan Thairu, Winslet Wairimu, Humphrey Gitari and Trevor Thairu. It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Michael Mutua Mutuku on 1st January 2017 through a road accident. He was a 4th year student the University of Nairobi studying for a Bachelor of Commerce (Markteing) degree.

Son of Zacharia Mutuku Kiviu of KRA, Nairobi, and Anestinne Karendi Mutuku of the Nairobi County Government.

Brother of Elizabeth Minoo, Jackson Kalei and Dennis Misoa.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her residence at Kahawa West near Marion School and Emmacra Hotel Basement daily starting at 5pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on 12th January, 2017 at 8am for a funeral service at Kiamariga, Mathira, Nyeri County.

Second Anniversary

May 13,1953 – January 6, 2015

In life we loved you dearly and still do. It broke our hearts to lose you and part of us went with you. You kept us peaceful memories and although we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain broke down and nothing is the same anymore but as God calls us, one by one our chain will link again.

We say there is a reason and time will heal, but neither the time nor season will ever change the way we feel for no one knows the heartache that lies behind our smiles or how many times we break down and cry.

We pray that the winds of heaven blow softly and whisper in your ear how much we love and miss you and wish you are here with us. Affectionately missed by your beloved children Geoffrey Mwangi, Grace Kimani, Damaris Muthoni, Catherine Wanjiru and Susan Njoki. Your in-laws Omar Swaleh, Charles Kosh and Anastasia Wanjiku.
